We are out of town, we live in AZ, but are staying here in the Dallas area while my husband recovers from a broken leg. I'll preface this review to let people know I actually am a restaurant secret shopper in Phoenix, AZ. I'm pretty critical on the waitstaff in every restaurant we visit, as I know what superior service looks like. I rarely see it, even from the restaurants that hire the service I work for. Tonight was exactly what a everyrestaurant should have. This is a sports bar type atmosphere, but they clearly train their staff well. Our server was Brianna, she greeted us within a minute of sitting down, handed us our menus, greeted us properly, told us her name immediately and made us feel welcome. She brought us waters, invited us to look at the happy hour menus and showed us the types of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks available. After she brought our drinks, she came backin in 2cminutes to make sure they tasted OK. We ordered the Parm bites, omg, they are super tasty, even better than any garlic knots could ever hope to be. A definite must on the menu. We ordered a large pizza with several toppings, and it was pretty good. The toppings were fresh, I feel this place takes pride in what they serve and it was a decent pizza. The service takes it over the top. I also appreciate the beer options available. As a craft beer snob, this is the reason we stopped here. I hope they continue with a variety of options....hoping Martin double half life makes their regular rotation. But Brianna is a superstar, with great customer service, timely quality checks, exactly what every restaurant should strive to have. In short, you'll have a tasty meal, fantastic service and a large variety of drink choices. And, you can watch a game, the reason we actually came. Thanks for a delightful meal. read more

So we gave this place another try, and I'm so glad we did! I'm not sure if they got new management, or if the new round of staff just care more, but this place has become a regular part of our routine for happy hour! The chicken remains solid--seasoned and cooked to perfection. We've since tried the meatballs (super-yum!), and their pizza (the pearl is our current go-to). Also, the food comes out fast and fresh. We've never sat anywhere except the bar, which is a great location to watch a game and meet new friends. The place is always clean (including the restrooms), and the bartenders are quite accommodating...and sassy! :D It's a limited menu: pretty much pizza and chicken. But if you're in the mood for some tasty bar food, this is a place you should visit! read more

Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse is a good spot if you're looking for good food and an even better atmosphere. The appetizers are solid, the pizza is delicious, and the bar is truly great --plenty of options and a great place to unwind. The staff has always been friendly, attentive, and quick to help, which makes every visit that much better. My only minor gripe is the booth seating--it's a bit on the small side and can't comfortably fit a mid- to large-sized infant car seat. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but something to keep in mind if you're dining with little ones. Overall, Parry's offers a very good dining experience with good food, a strong bar, and a welcoming team. Definitely worth a visit! read more

My family and I had a fantastic lunch today at Parry's Pizza! We sat on the wonderful patio and we ordered the mozzarella sticks and one of the specialty pizzas (Uncle Sam), and everything was delicious -- especially the ranch! The highlight of our visit was our waitress, Madison. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and gave us excellent recommendations on pizzas, beer selections, drinks, and specials. She checked on us often and genuinely made my family feel welcome and taken care of. We also appreciate the way Parry's supports the local community and our local educators through special promotions and events throughout the year. Really wish we had tried this sooner! Started with the half order of Parmesan bites and they were amazing! Also tried the buffalo chicken sandwich; loved that it wasn't messy. Lot of TV's. Great place to grab some homemade meatballs or pizza! There are a ton of televisions and craft beers with a huge bar. The happy hour menu includes great deals and large wine pours. Pretty good place. The staff and ambiance was friendly and inviting. I had a few issues where several beers were out of stock but it could just be the day I went so I will not dock them for that, but on a normal day, they appear to have a large selection of beers. The food was pretty good. The parm bites and artichoke jalapeño dip were both amazing. The artichoke jalapeño dip, extra amazing. lol. Good place. We live around the corner but always wait to try new places, until the hype is over and the super long lines are gone. I was quite surprised to see no wait on a Thursday night at dinner time. Loved the decor inside its welcoming and warm. Genesis was our server and a sweet girl. We had so many questions and she was patient and helpful. So we opted for a 1/2 five boroughs and the other 1/2 a 2010. Seemed like a great idea. The piazza came out piping hot about 20 minutes later and looked really good. We bother enjoyed it and had some good flavor. Cooked very well also. We'll definitely come back again. read more

Loved this spot! We'd noticed it's always busy, so one day we decided to stop in when the crowd finally thinned out. We lucked out with a perfect day to sit on the patio, and it was such a pleasant experience from start to finish. We split a pizza, though I can't remember which once we ordered anymore. Shame on me, I know. I do remember it was delicious and the service was great too. We'll be back, and I'll update my review with some photos next time. read more

I feel like if you order the same dish multiple times they should look the same or atleast similar in consistency & amount but that's not the case here! The first time I ordered the Spicy Alfredo it was delicious the amount of pasta was the whole tin & sauce was a generous amount especially for the price I wouldn't expect less food it came with some bread ,red pepper flakes & Parmesan cheese packets! Well the 2nd time I ordered it was way less food like half the tin the taste was slightly off from the first time felt liek was missing the toppings but I'm like maybe was a diff cook or they were busy I will give the benefit of the doubt an since the first time was so good well ordered for the 3rd time tonight the pasta (I've ordered pizza from here before) tonight the pasta was just not it ! Not very much sauce & slightly more pasta then the 2nd time but less then the first time . I have placed an order at Parry's on several occasions and every time I receive my order something is missing. Today I placed an order for a Kid's meal pizza, 20 bone-in wings, parm fries, reg. fries, and a small salad with 2 drinks. The order was placed through Doordash and of course I'm missing the Kid's meal. How can a wing and pizza restaurant forgot to put the pizza with my order. The bag was stapled closed. I like there wings but I'm actually paying for items I never received. This establishment never check there orders. Even when I visited the restaurant I received the wrong wings 2 months ago. Okay, so, I wanted to update my review and say f***in fantastic! Everything was delicious. We ordered a small pizza , 20 wings , a couple of salads, a kid pizza, a chicken wrap, and couple of kid pastas. Everyone's meal was absolutely delicious . My bday girl decided to dine here for her bday because she loves pasta and pizza. I am so happy she choose Perry's! We'll definitely be back! Maybe next weekend because it's that good. Also, Amy with the pink hat is so cute and sweet. I was glad to have her assist in serving us with our server Sarai. Sarai was patient and very kind. What a nice place to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon! I was alone so I sat at the bar!! They have all day happy hour on Sunday so I enjoyed a glass of wine and plenty of food, all for less than the cost of a half tank of gas. My bartender was Kiara and she was excellent! What a sweetheart! The Parmesan bites were good, could've used a little salt, the house wine I ordered was dark horse Pinot noir and it was great. I've been twice for the UNT football watch party and they take such good care of us. Serving a lot of tables is not easy but they do it so well. We had Brett a few weeks ago and he was top notch one of the best servers I've had anywhere. Baylee served us last week and she stayed on top of it all. The frose' is so great, especially the sugar rim. The Cesar salad was great along with the white pizza. I'm so glad we decided to have our watch party's here. The patio is perfect. It got a little windy then it rained profusely so they lowered the "walls/screen" so we could keep cozy while continuing to cheer on the Mean Green. On our first visit here with the family, we really enjoyed the I Love Meat pizza and the fried dough. They had the stars game on too so that was a plus! Friendly service and a nice place to hang out and enjoy yourself. On the second visit, it was a quick Togo order and I happened to mention it was my wife and I's anniversary. When we got home we found a little surprise with our food, a hand written happy anniversary envelope with a small gift from the hostess. Let me just start with Genesis was awesome and a lot of fun to have her as our server. She would be one of the two reason we would go back. The half moon mozzarella was just OK, I could have gotten the same thing in the freezer isle. The pizza was pretty good. We got the five boroughs and it was what we expected. We ordered and the food came out pretty fast the chicken buffalo pizza tasted like straight blue cheese even when asking for no blue cheese. Some days you're HOT, and some you're NOT! I normally don't like to write negative reviews, but this one earned it. We were there for early dinner on a Thursday night, and had some time to kill. Parry's looked Hot & New, and we like pizza... so this has to be a win, right? To be blunt, when we arrived, there was staff everywhere. Outside smoking, inside sitting at tables eating, sitting on the boxes in the back... but we sta a long time before we were addressed. Then the sweetest little waitress came over to help. She was brand new, and we attempted to have mercy. However, she had not been trained on the differences between the happy hour menu, the specials menu, and the regular menu. Yes, we had 3 menus before us. When we asked questions, the waitress told us she was new, and was better with the menu when she could look at the computer. (aka Training Opportunity for MGMT!). Everything says New York Sized, which translated means THUMB NAIL sized (okay, maybe Texas thumb nail), but the portions were all small. The 6 piece happy hour boneless wings ($6.99) were literally the smallest I had ever seen. However, they were soft inside, crispy, well sauced and yummy! The waitress was super confused by what boneless wings were, and wanted to send us chicken tenders. We had to explain the multiple menus to her, and then she was still confused. No offense to the waitress, but this place was severely overstaffed, and they were all undertrained. When I asked for a manager a small blond in a baseball hat pulled down over her eyes walked up and asked if everything was OK. She did not introduce herself, did not address our concern, or even bring it up! She then walked back off the floor, never to be seen again. We later talked to a different manager and realized this was the floor manager. We literally though she was a cigarette promo girl, and we blew her off because we don't smoke. We never knew she was there to help! She needs to be re-trained by the GM, as well! I asked for a knife to cut my sandwich, and was told they don't have knives. I went to the bar (I mean they have limes right, someone has a knife!). Finally, 5-10 minutes later, another waitress showed up with a butter knife. Ugh! Don't you love cold food? One the menu is a section promoting their Special White Ketchup. I ordered a side. Is house made ranch. There no difference. It's just plain ol ranch. Which I already had on my plate, but they had no problem with the ol' Switcheroo and upcharged me for the additional Ranch dressing. Theives! Then... A Bug crawled out of wife's sandwich. Not a flying bug. It didn't land. It crawled out, and stayed there. (See photos). We took it upon ourselves to flag down the one person who looked in charge (the bar manager). He said this never happens! He asked if we wanted us to refire the sandwich. I politely declined, as my wife was in the bathroom throwing up her guts! They comped the sandwich. Not the meal. It was barely an apology. I felt bad for the bar manger, he needs to be somewhere he is appreciated or promoted to GM! The floor manager, still never returned! 1 STAR... Cannot say we feel comfortable enough to come back. How you do anything is how you do everything... and poor training, poor hygiene, and poor food standards are too much to overcome! read more

While visiting family, we wanted to try something new specifically places we don't have back home in Central Texas. We decided on Parry's for the evening, and overall it was a solid choice. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, with plenty of TVs around perfect for catching a game. Our server was fantastic attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We started with the Parmesan fries and Parmesan bites. The fries were just okay nothing special and definitely not enough to share among three people. However, the full order of Parmesan bites more than made up for it. They were delicious and generously portioned. For our entrees, we shared a personal pan cheese pizza with onions, both bone-in and boneless wings, and the Cajun shrimp mac and cheese. Everything came out hot and flavorful. The drinks were also on point, adding to the overall good vibe of the evening. While it wasn't a five-star, mind-blowing experience, it was definitely enjoyable. Our waitress provided menus and gave us time to look through the menu and decide what we wanted. I ordered the spicy alfredo pasta with Cajun shrimp added to it. The pasta was flavorful, filling and paired well with the Cajun shrimp. The pasta isn't spicy, but has some heat to it. Though I was provided big pieces of shrimp, an upcharge of $4.99 is expensive.
