    Lots of cannoli filling options

Another spectacular Sunday afternoon happy hour/meal here. Sat up the bar with outstanding service. Their happy hour at the bar is every day all day. My wife exclaimed that the Limoncello Spritz ($11) is the best drink she's ever had. Order the rigatoni pasta Trio ($12) with a couple of three dollar meatballs/sauces of your choosing on the side. Cheap amazing eats - easily a pound of fresh pasta. Be sure to order a meatball with the Cacio e pepe sauce. Save him for a freshly made cappuccino to sip with your toasted lobster tail filled with Nutella from the bakery-coffee bar inside the restaurant. And of course, be sure to order a cannoli or two for the road (lots of filling options).

Heard good things about this restaurant and decided to check it out. The food and experience was worth the drive. The waitress took time explaining all the different meat balls and walked us through the extensive drink menu. Solid choice for Italian in DFW. I will definitely be back.

My sister and I decided to surprise my wife with a retirement party at The Sicilian Butcher. I had been there previously for a Yelp Elite event and had been waiting to return. Hagen, our server during our dining experience, was cordial when he introduced himself. He inquired if we'd dined at the restaurant before and it we had any questions about the menu. I mentioned to him that I had attended a Yelp event previously at the restaurant. The decor of The Sicilian Butcher is beautifully appointed. The restaurant has a HUGE outdoor patio area with canvas that can be dropped down to close it in. It's great for banquets, etc. After looking over the menu, our table started out with some phenomenal appetizers. Fresh baked bread with garlic butter, a Ferris wheel of several different meatballs and bruschetta. We probably overdid it with the pre-lunch appetizers. I started wondering if we were going to have room for our lunch entrees. There was quite a variety of entrees ordered. I was sure there would be plenty of to-go boxes needed. I decided on the "Build Your Own Pasta" entree. I chose a Truffle mushroom sauce with creste de gallo pasta. My sister opted for the 'Fig & Pig' Ciabatta sandwich, my wife and brother-in-law, Chicken Parm with rigatoni, my nephew, Spaghetti with Vodka sauce, Lobster Bisque, side green salad. Wow Everyone LOVED all their entrees. Hagen took excellent care of us throughout our stay. One of the managers stopped by the table several times to ensure we were being taken care of. We were indeed. Thank you Hagen and "The Sicilian Butcher" for an awesome celebratory luncheon celebrating my wife's 50-year career in the accounting industry.

Food: 3 out of 5 Service: 4.5 Ambiance: 5 The Sicilian Butcher was high on my list to try while in town. Sadly, the food fell short. They have a lovely menu with many options. I ordered the build your own craft meatballs. The Tony's Steak balls were lukewarm and lacked seasoning. The sauce was the Picchio Pacchiu and it was just "ok". The pasta was actually cool to the touch as were others in our party. The strozzapretti pasta was Ok - not the al dente I expected and again, cold. I would give them another shot on the chance that they were just having an off night. The ambiance is very contradictory with a casual vibe... while having upscale touches like the beautiful salt and pepper shakers on the table.

Came in with high expectations for The Sicilian Butcher--and this time, they absolutely delivered. In one word: impressed. THE FOOD: This is where they shine. You can genuinely taste the freshness and care in every dish--and their specialty is that everything is made in-house, which in this day and age feels like a real treat. The chicken parmesan was a standout--tender, flavorful chicken with a light, crisp breading, topped with a bright, clearly house-made sauce. The lobster ravioli was excellent. The pasta was delicate, and the lobster filling was perfectly cooked, sweet, and fresh--easily one of the highlights of the meal. The Caesar salad was light and refreshing, not overloaded with dressing (which I appreciated). Bonus points for accommodating my request for extra anchovies. I do wish the dressing leaned a bit more into bold anchovy and garlic flavors, but still very enjoyable. The lasagna was another strong dish--rich and comforting with an authentic blend of pork, beef, and veal, layered with house-made pasta, sauce, and creamy cheese. The only miss for me was the clam spaghetti. While the ingredients were clearly fresh, it lacked the depth and richness you'd expect--more butter, wine, and clam-forward flavor would have really brought it together. THE SERVICE: Attentive, accommodating, and welcoming throughout the meal. Requests were handled easily, and the staff struck a great balance between being present and not overbearing. THE AMBIANCE: Lively, warm, and inviting. It has that energetic Italian dining feel without being overwhelming--great for both a casual night out or a more intentional dining experience. Bottom line: Fresh, house-made Italian dishes done right--with that rare, from-scratch approach that really sets them apart. Definitely a spot worth returning to.

Really nice experience at The Sicilian Butcher. We arrived early to check out what they have to offer. The overall vibe is really fun and it's decorated in classic modern Italian decor. We sat at the bar at around 5:00pm - 6:30pm and it's a nice setting except it's where all the employees gather and talk it up before customers arrive. Was a bit annoying. The triple pasta was really good, so red sauce, parmesan cheese and pesto. The pasta was cooked al dente and it's enough for 2 people. We would order this again. The calamari looked great but was hard to chew, felt like I was eating rubber bands. I think it was overcooked. I don't usually order this at restaurants when it's just me eating this dish because the portions are so large and the husband does not like seafood however since the was on the happy hour menu and reasonably priced I gave it a try. Maybe it was bad timing...or left over from the day before, I don't know. We visited the dessert shop and it was fun with Gelato, personalized Cannoli's with cookies and pastries. This was 5 stars! We are definitely planning on coming back and will try other dishes and sit at the other end of the bar. Cheers!

ORDER NONNA'S GARLIC BREAD, PERIOD!!!!! The Sicilian Butcher was such a pleasant surprise! The service was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is very picturesque with its red, black and white colors throughout the space.

The food was great, I don't know why we made reservations, they had our table ready but we still sat for 10 minutes for no reason, guess they were a little slammed for Valentine's. Our waiter was amazing, he fixed our drink order, we didn't get charged but there was a mishap with our order twice. Anyways, we tried some of the specials, the lobster ravioli was soft and flavorful, the shrimp was also cooked perfectly. I also had some salmon, it was alright and cooked properly but wish they had some sides with it. Also had their Frittos? So basically a plate of fried seafood, but it was delicious. Ambiance was cozy but since it was Valentine's it was packed. Also they need to fix the small tables, ours and the couple next to us had it rocking, so each of us had to step on the legs to balance the table. Chris was our server or waiter, he's great and we left him a nice tip. He even took a pic of the gelato flavors for us. Definitely will come back when it's not that busy.

We had a great first experience at The Sicilian Butcher. The food was delicious, our waiter was super friendly, and the ambiance was really nice. The only downside was the bar service being a little slow, but overall everything was enjoyable. The portions are generous, so a pasta dish is definitely shareable. We are looking forward to coming back with friends soon to try more of the menu!

The place is very bright and open. The food is delicious. You can tell the pastas are made fresh since they have this nice chew to it. The sauce was well balanced and refreshing. Loved the meatball wheel! Will definitely come back when I have an Italian craving.

I was seriously craving pasta and had been looking forward to trying this place for a while. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The ambiance, the vibe, the overall setup, everything feels inviting and well thought out. There is outdoor seating available, and we were seated promptly. Our server was incredibly sweet and even gave us a full rundown of the menu, which I appreciated. I started with the cured meats and cheese board. The presentation could have been elevated a bit, but overall the combination worked well. My only note is that there were only four cheese options to choose from, which felt somewhat limited. Regardless, really enjoyed it as a starter. For entrées, I was super excited to build my own pasta bowl. That was ultimately what drew me in. So we got a signature dish, the Rigatoni alla Zozzana, and this one was quite good. The pasta was cooked el dente, the flavors tasted fresh, and added shrimp which paired nicely. No complaints there. Now, onto the build-your-own selections. - Pappardelle with truffle mushroom sauce and breaded chicken: The breaded chicken was cooked perfectly and had great texture. Unfortunately, the sauce was overwhelming and far too liquidy. It lacked the creamy consistency you would expect from a truffle mushroom sauce and did not cling to the pasta properly. The balance was off, and I was unable to finish it. - Paccheri with basil pesto sauce and chicken parmigiana meatballs: The meatballs were excellent, great flavor, well seasoned, and beautifully presented. However, the dish suffered from two major issues. There was barely any sauce, which made the pasta feel dry, and the pasta itself was undercooked and noticeably cold. Texture matters in pasta, and this one missed the mark. - Gnocchi with vodka sauce and Uncle Arthur's sausage: The sausage was very flavorful and cooked well. The vodka sauce had the right amount of richness and was properly balanced in both quantity and taste. However, the gnocchi was severely overcooked, which completely changed the texture and made the dish fall flat. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. I went in with high expectations and was genuinely excited. The concept of building your own pasta bowl is appealing, but consistency is key. Some dishes had too much sauce, others had almost none. Some pasta was undercooked, others overcooked. It felt inconsistent and lacked execution. I skipped dessert as I wanted to try the Sicilian café next door, where I had an excellent experience and thoroughly enjoyed my espresso & gelatos. Unfortunately, the pasta side of the restaurant did not meet the same standard.

3 / 5 - food 5/5 - dessert 4/5 food service 5/5 - dessert service Brought my friends here for lunch. The lunch menu did not look appetizing. It offered salad and sandwich for $22-25. It was pretty dead inside. Only one other table occupied. I've had the pasta and cannolis here before at an event and thought they were great. So we had the pasta today. My pasta alla vodka sauce was disappointing. Very lacking of sauce and flavor, missing the shallots. I remember enjoying it before. The steak meatballs were not good. It was very dry and since the pasta sauce was lacking, it did not help. I can tell the pasta texture is good though. My friends' mushroom pasta and carbonara (a bit salty). were good. Although same, the meatballs not good. My friend pointed out no free bread. Which I guess I didn't notice till now. For our lunch being $75 + for JUST pasta and some meatballs.... It was very lack luster. We did come back for some cannolis during their happy hr which did not disappoint. We got a tiramisu and pistachio cannoli. They were very good! The tiramisu had strong coffee taste. The pistachio filling is lightly sweet. The lemon cookie was good. The mini cannolis were great and a good deal for the dessert happy hr. Would stop by just for the cannolis. But prob won't come back for the restaurant part. It was quite overpriced for what you get or don't get. The house made pastas are good but just not worth the cost.

Attended a yelp event here but loved the food and restaurant as a whole! We've passed by so often but weren't quite sure what we'd get here. Attending a yelp even took that out of the equation! The food is beautifully made, aesthetic but also delicious. We had the cured meat and cheese plate, which had some delicious Sicilian olives and fig jam. Nonna's garlic bread that was absolutely a garlic bread lovers dream. So soft and savory, yummy. Italian saganaki which was flambeed tableside. The rigatoni alla vodka was our favorite with its balanced sauce and perfect noodles while the NY strip steak was prepared rare and to my husband's liking. Service was attentive and overall we'd come back again for the pasta and nonna's garlic bread.

The chicken sitting on top of a lot of maple syrup was unpleasant for me. My waffles looked amazing, but tasted bland and were dry and lukewarm. The Old Fashioned was prepared exactly right, especially with my request for lighter bitters since I do not enjoy it overly sweet. Many places miss that balance, but they nailed it here. The charcuterie board was easily one of the best I have had. The mozzarella and white cheddar were perfectly portioned, fresh, and rich. The honeycomb was a first for me on a board and made the experience especially memorable. The artwork throughout the space also adds a unique character that I always appreciate in a restaurant. The prosciutto was a little tough but still had good flavor, while the Calabrese was spot on. Service was professional and attentive, with frequent check-ins throughout the evening. My only recommendation would be for servers to introduce themselves, as that small touch makes the experience feel more personal and welcoming rather than simply transactional.

Gage was our server and he was helpful throughout the dinner. We split the carmelized onion dip and spinach artichoke dip, both were creamy and delicious. I had the bowl of chili with a side of crackers and sliced sourdough bread. The chili was delicious and filling and paired well with my crackers and bread. My friends enjoyed their dinner as well and we look forward to returning.

We placed our orders, excited to try our food we had heard much about. 45 minutes later we received our steak salad and a steak with side of fries. My Friend ordered her steak medium well I ordered mine medium her steak came out, medium very pink in the very chewy. My asked if the steak would be remade, the waitress took the plate and it took them another 22 minutes to get the steak out. By that time I was half done with my lunch. I will say our waitress was very non-sociable. Her skills of being a waitress was liking. There was no empathy emotions as a matter fact she had no skills and has no business waitressing same with our chef very sarcastic saying that the steak takes longer to cook. (I call B.S! needless to say I will not be back. (At that location)

Louder than usual because the Worldcup game was on, England V Croatia . Had two groups of fans from each team, loud at the good stuff, everyone polite and jovial. Really added to the fun atmosphere. A bazillion TVs so everyone has a good view. The waitress was also the barkeep, she did a great job. Tipped appropriately well. Food! The point Yes, awesome yumminess. I got a new try, Brisket Grilled cheese with lightly fried onions and a sweet BBQ sauce, American cheese, on a Hawaiian bread. A great combo that was flavorful. My wife enjoyed the lunch size fish in chips; good cod fish. Generous fries with both. We had unsweetened tea, perfect.

It had a little thin sliced tomato. 2 smashed beef patties, cheese, onions and shredded lettuce. Had to ask for pickles and Another tomato. Honestly the burger was one of the worst I've had in a long, long time. We also ordered the wings with lemon zest. He loved them! We ordered the southwest egg rolls...they never arrived. Frustrating. Here's my thing...kids seam to be running these types of places. We enjoyed playing pool, darts and having a few drinks. Not the best food experience but the bar itself was nice.

Our waitress (I believe her name was Megan) had already placed a birthday card on the table addressed to my girlfriend. What made it so special was that it wasn't some generic "Happy Birthday" message--it was personalized, clever, and absolutely hilarious. We were both laughing as soon as we read it. As the evening went on and we got to know Megan a little better, her personality really shined through, and the card made even more sense. She brought an incredible energy to the table and made the celebration feel genuinely special. For dessert, she brought out a slice of cheesecake sitting on top of a giant cake, complete with an oversized candle/sparkler that created a spectacular birthday moment--and an even better Instagram video. It was one of those little touches that takes a meal from good to unforgettable. I also ordered the mojito mocktail, and it was fantastic. I really appreciate seeing more restaurants offer quality mocktails for those of us who can't or choose not to drink. The hospitality didn't stop there. As we were leaving, the hostess was incredibly kind and patiently took photos of us so we could capture the occasion. And, of course, the food was excellent. If you're going to visit, I highly recommend going all out and ordering the full experience, including the meatballs and lobster. It's worth it. Great food, outstanding service, thoughtful touches, and a fun atmosphere made this one of the best birthday dinners we've had. We'll definitely be back.

The food was delicious, the cocktails were great, and the overall atmosphere made for a memorable evening. My only minor concern was that there were times when the pizza took a little while to come out between servings, and the selection seemed somewhat limited. However, it wasn't a major issue and didn't take away from the experience. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely return for another special occasion!

I forgot when it was going to end so I missed the last category sadly, but now I can confidently say they have great sandwiches, bowls and salads! I used to always get the teriyaki chicken bowl, but have since varied up my order and now the Citrus Thai salad with chicken is my go to! It's so good and filling while being light! I also love the club sandwich and the grinder is great too. My husband doesn't eat "bowls" much but I got him to try one and he really liked the Korean steak, I tried a bite as well and thought the flavor was very good and not too spicy. I looooove their rice and I really appreciate that the veggie mix includes Brussel sprouts. Their avocado toast is a great breakfast as well. I've tried smoothies/juice/parfait and all were fine but personally I just prefer to go to Nekter or Smoothie King for that stuff. The rewards program is pretty decent as well! Random offers and deals are a nice surprise! They're getting plenty of my money and will continue to do so hahaha
