We did not have a good experience here. It was quite warm…read moreon the week we were visiting the area, but we were having a lovely time. We saw this Old Time Photo shop and really wanted to get into the spirit so we walked downstairs to check it out. They said they were booked up but they had an appointment about 90 minutes later. We booked the appointment and continued enjoying the city. When we came back, we waited patiently for the brunette behind the counter to finish with the family that had just done their photos. As we stood there, we began sweating... like really sweating. It was uncomfortably hot. Just as I asked if they could possibly turn the air conditioner up, the blonde employee burst in from behind me and said it was broken and then asked if we were her next appointment. You know when you get that feeling like you should just leave, but you think it's all in your head? Yeah... We were already there and ready to take photos so we went ahead. She asked about colors and gave us some clothes to try on. She had this saccharine tone that seemed to be created simply to try to disguise how condescending she was. She talked down to every single person she spoke to, including her co-worker. She was very unapologetic about the heat and incredibly patronizing in everything she said. She really ruined the entire experience for us. We tried our best to have a good time and at a certain point just started laughing at how red and sweaty and uncomfortable we were. We were relieved when it was over and we had to help each other peel the sticky disgusting costumes off our sweaty skin in the changing closet. The photo quality was really terrible. I mean, we looked hot and uncomfortable and unhappy, but the actual quality of the photos was bad. The 8x10 that we did get was blurry and since we didn't want to spend any more time there we just picked the first picture with our eyes open and then bought the digitals so I could look at them later. I did try to print an 8x10 of another one of the photos a few weeks later to see if the grainy quality was just on the one print we got, but it literally said poor quality and it's a total mess. We wasted over $100 here to come out with nothing but a blurry picture and a horror story. The only reason I'm not giving one star is because they are dog friendly, but I wouldn't recommend stopping here, especially if you're enjoying the city because this experience really put a damper on an otherwise lovely day.

Good quality work. They were too busy? to give me good customer service. I had to call back several…read moretimes to get their attention. The order turned out OK quality wise. I wanted to send them a guide print to serve as a reference but they would not let me do it and no proofing available. It was a large Giclee so I was a little concerned as I have not ever worked with a lab that refused both guide print and proof. It was a reproduction of my wife's oil painting so color matching is important to us. Communication was over the phone and email so I might have gotten better service in person. A bit defensive when answering questions. Maybe it was me? or they are just too busy because they do good work at reasonable prices.

My kid had the best smile during the session and the outcome were photos and expression that are very natural and relaxing which is my personal style vs studio still photos. That is a moment you want captured in a photo when your child graduates HS. Parents were not allowed down on the field because Clear Image was doing the photography. Disgusted beyond belief. Still waiting for our refund of money nearly 2 years later. The SSD could not get them to refund money either.
