Wanted dead or alive photo shoot!

I just got my photos! Amazing place I loved it! Definitely recommend. The lady was super nice and the costumes were really pretty!

My daughters and I enjoyed our old-timey photo experience. The employee working was energetic and supportive. She made us comfortable and rolled with our vibes and ideas. I was utterly charmed by our photos and paid to download them all. Worth it!

We had such a fun time and the pictures came out great. Staff was fun and accommodating. My only suggestion would to be get some bigger costumes. I'm not a huge lady but those barmaid outfits were a little snug. 100% would go again.

Okay, so this was SO much fun. Appointments are currently required (although they can sometimes accommodate immediate appointments depending on the schedule) and staff are all wearing masks, which you are required to as well except while you have your photos taken. Everything is disinfected between uses or washed. The women working there were super sweet and were able to guide us through wardrobe selection (they actually basically did the work for us since they know their stock) and the photo session itself was not awkward at all (which I'm the queen of awkward so that says a lot). They led us through several different poses and we ended up not being able to choose which one we wanted to take home, so we bought them all super fun and we have the best memories and photos now. Totally worth it.

The only way I will be paying my student loans back in this lifetime. Thanks Studio 1890.

My husband and I went to get some pictures done. My husband and I usually go the local fairs to get our western themed photos, but we missed them this year. We only went to Leavenworth to get this done. We made an reservation for this. Two young women named Libby and Carla took our photos. First, they were completely comfortable, and fine with a gay couple. We were a little worried about that, but I couldn't have asked for nicer gals to work with. We weren't sure what to get, and the ladies helped us figure it out. We had the whole place to ourselves, and it was very relaxed. We took 10 photos with varying poses. They were nice, and we laughed a lot, and made jokes. We were very happy with our pictures. We bought a framed 8x10 photo, and the CD with all 10 pictures they took in both sepia and color. Buying the CD gave us a second 8x10 picture, and was "Rights released". All said and done it came to $103, and we threw in a $10 tip. We felt this was a good price. We will definitely go back again.

My husband and I had an awesome experience here. Our photographer was the brunette girl, she was so sweet and helped with our poses so we knew what to do. Each of our pictures turned out really nice, we just had to choose the ones we liked best. The price was WAY cheaper than I expected, and I think people need to be realistic with this company. The costumes have minor flaws like rips and torn strings, and they tie in the back. No one should expect to walk into this place and be clothed in 100% authentic clothing...what they have works perfectly for the purpose of photos and is not meant to fool people into thinking you are a real-life Bavarian or cowboy. The costumes are meant for and work great for pictures--not live action role playing.

I want start by saying we had an appointment and arrived with my parents who wanted a fun picture for their 50th wedding Anniversary. We are not a rough and tumble crew we are a very chill group. We walked down the VERY steep stairs and no one that worked there talked to us except to say you are not allowed to use your phone in here and stop touching the props (how do you decide what you are going to wear if you can't touch it???). It was so awkward we decided to leave. Studio 1890 was not the fun silly atmosphere we thought we were going to get. They were rigid and rude. It was a total disappointment.

We had such a fantastic experience here! Hannah handled our group of 39 with such proficiency and fun professionalism. We got some awesome shots. Don't go to Leavenworth without getting pictures done here!

This was so much fun! If you're going to Leavenworth it's a must! It's right down a staircase in between shops, and inside is just so cute and fun! Two options when we went, Bavarian & old time, we chose Bavarian obviously andbim so glad because they turned out so good!

It was a lot of fun, and Libby and her partner were great to work with and very easy-going.

Another school picture with Parsons, another problem. Today was my son's class picture, well he has…read morea cast from mid thigh to toes, I brought him in to school with his wheelchair, and when your employee came to talk to us I explained I was going to help him up where he needed to be and I brought a crutch for him to prop on. I was informed he couldn't use the crutch in the actual picture. I then told him he could stand stand by himself. Well his class came in, the whole class, and the photographer came over to my son and starred hounding him to stand up, he needed to know how tall my son was, before I could walk around my son stood up. Your employee was right in front of him. Well my son's foot got tangled up and he started falling. As he started falling your employee moved. So instead of him holding on to my child, who has this huge cast on, he moved. Causing my son to put his cast down then fall to the ground on his cast. My child fell, in front of his whole class, landing on his cast, and he started crying. What did your employee do? He turned around and walked off. He didn't say sorry, can I help or anything. Not one single person, from your company or the school, offered to help pic my child up, offered to help us get outside to my car, asked if my son was ok or anything. Then your employee didn't want to give me my money back for the class picture I wanted, and my son didn't get to be in his class picture. All because your employee didn't listen to be say my temporary handicapped child couldn't stand by himself, all because your employee didn't try to grab my child to keep him from falling. I had to drive my son to the er to have xrays done, he was embarrassed in front of his whole class because he fell and started crying because he hurt himself. He has a compound fracture on his tibia with two rods in his leg, he has a shattered fibula, he's dealt with enough with this alone, then your company adds insult to injury and didn't even have the common sense to even so much as ask if he was ok, much less offer to help. This isn't ok. A I'm sorry isn't going to be fine with us. I'm beyond angry and frustrated. This is not professional or ethically fine.

I am amazed at not just the quaility of her photos, but also her artistic talent. It is a great value for the dollar and a wonderful investment. On both shoots I am purchasing all the digital files. You may ask why? I will tell you, because with both photo shoots there is not one bad photo in the bunch!! She has such an amazing creativity for those that don't really have their own ideas. However, if you are people like my daughter and I just were, we had so many of our own ideas that she was so accomodationg on. She nailed exactly what both my Daughter and I were dreamng of. She did the same for my son's 2 years ago. It's no wonder she books up fast! We had my daughters makeup and hair done by our regular stylist and a family friend who has done makeup for my daughter in the past. The wonderful thing about Heather's service is that she also has people on staff to help with that as well as consults on wardrobe. It is an amazing service by an amazing person. I guarantee by 2 minutes into the session you will feel like she has been your friend forever. Not just a cutting edge business woman, but a heart of gold to go along with it
