I called to ask about shipping time. For the standard shipping cost, it appeared I would receive the item in time, but FF offered to call me back after placing the order to discuss a faster option (not an expedited service). Well, they did, they had an option for another carrier, and even offered to absorb the cost difference. I got the item a day earlier than estimated with the original carrier. The item is also quite fragile, but it was packed very well and arrived undamaged. I couldn't be happier with the service I received and will definitely be looking here first for my freaky items!

One of the owners shared a story with my boy, who shares his fascination with all things chicken. That was what originally caught my boys attention since they had shirts with chickens on them. They have all sorts of unique shirts here and it's become a routine to stop by and check out what cool new gear they've received. Recently, we checked out their masks, and I've never seen such a selection of clown and dark creature disguises. I have to say this is definitely a hidden gem that has to be explored whenever out this way and no matter what time of the year for us. I always leave with something unique and unforgettable.

One store is located in the Arboretum Crossing shopping center in the former Toys R Us space, just a few doors up from Dave & Busters (where Mopac Expressway and 183/Research Blvd meet). Their other location is located right beside the Austin Aquarium, at the intersection of 183/Research Blvd and Anderson Mill road. They have just about everything. Its amazing the amount of Halloween merchandise they carry (really friendly and helpful staff too). Nice to be treated like a valued customer - don't see much of that these days in other stores. However when I was looking with my boys for their costumes... we found what my oldest wanted... it was $80 in his size... but the larger ones of the same costume were $70?!? Same exact costume... same manufacturer, same stuff in it, but $10 difference between the smaller and the larger sizes. I asked what was the deal and the guy looked them up... all he could say was yep... that's it... that's how they are priced. What?!? Seriously?!? It made zero sense! However being the dad I am... and my boy really wanting it... we bought it... in my mind they should have marked it down by the $10... but there was not even an offer of that.
