Helium leaked ridiculously. They DID NOT tied tightly.

I ordered latex balloons with helium in for my son's birthday surprise next day morning. They all fell down within 12hours and become half size. I found out all the balloons were not tied tightly enough. What a waste money. My son was so disappointed to see balloons on ground. We called and asked them and they said it is impossible to be leaked and become that size. Man, this guys have terrible customer service. No more party city. Better get my own helium gas tank.

Ugh, absolutely horrendous. The reviews weren't kidding; this place really is dreadful. It appears that even the simplest things can't get done right here. I was here a few days ago while preparing for Halloween. Makes sense that you'd find a costume at Party City, right? So it doesn't make any sense how unprepared this store was for October 30. The planning, organization, and execution were terrible. After spending over an hour here for a simple costume, I was the one who had to suffer for their mistakes. Their costumes are kept in the back, and they have a wall for the customers displaying what's apparently available. This sounds like it might work in theory, but they have a long line for customers to tell one staff member what they want, and that message then gets radioed to another staff member in the back. Seems to make sense, but people for some reason can't make up their minds before getting in line. Since I was already ready, I tried to skip the line, but they told me I had to wait. I seriously had to wait in line to read three numbers to a person; that person would then communicate the code to another person via walkie-talkie. They wouldn't let me just get the item myself, or even tell the person in the back what I wanted. I had to tell somebody there what I wanted, but I first had to wait in line, but the people ahead of me were taking forever to decide on something and I couldn't just go ahead of them. Here's the next part that I can't figure out. The people in the back just take the costume and put it in a cardboard box in front. It's not like they hand it to you; you pick it up yourself. Since this is unsupervised, it means that anybody can pick up anything, which means it was ultimately pointless to have to ask for the item to be pulled from the back for you. It's a whole lot of making things complicated for the sake of making things complicated. It would also be nice if they weren't out of stock on so many items. I think that 5:00 PM is early enough at night that they should still be pretty full, so it's odd that they would be out of the first two things that I asked for. When I finally bought the costume I wanted, I opened it up and noticed that it was missing a shirt entirely. There was no quality control here. One whole component of the costume was gone. Luckily, I was still at the store and had held onto the receipt. So I was able to take the costume back for a full refund. Of course, it also meant that I had to go through that whole line and arduous process again. Most of this was completely unnecessary. What happened to the old days when it used to be simple to walk into a store and buy things? Why does it have to be a wild goose chase to get anything done here? If the management continues to be this bad, I'd rather just go without a costume next year.

Last Friday night my husband and I drove from Renton to Crossroads to look at the Halloween selection inside this store. The website said it was open til 9. We were walking up to the door and it would not open and a gal was standing by the door. I noticed the sign clearly said 9:00pm. She said they weren't letting anyone else in because they closed in 20 minutes. Since when is a posted closing time NOT the actual closing time. Doesn't Crossroads mall have set times in which their stores must stay open? I am also throwing a huge party in the next few months and I was going to price for as well. No worries, I'll patronize the party store with a different name down the road. I gave two stars because I'd had great service before and I love the selection but customer service is only as good as the last visit and they lost 3 stars.

The store was stocked pretty good and the staff were helpful. I do however think the lighting could be better, thank you

I've only been to Spitit Halloween once in my life before and it was about 8-9 years ago, north gate location. I just remember seeing a lot of inflatable scary things.. and a mess! Like costumes everywhere on the floor mess. Fast forward 8-9 years to this one: I was here at 9:30 am. No one was here! Pro: Clean store No mess Everything is in place/ inside packages. Cons Prices!! Insane prices Empty shelves In online shopping, deals, Amazon age, prices here are astronomical!! But it's also the convenience you're paying. Clean, overpriced with plenty of parking! Next door to Costco.

Went in to look for a Ren Faire costume and it had a great selection of both regular clothing and costumes/clothes that would work for a costume. The owner went above and beyond, leaving the store to add some more of her Ren Faire inventory for us to browse. The person working the register was clearly very passionate about their job, curating cute outfits for mannequins and displays. They were also so kind to us. The prices are great, especially for a vintage store. There were definitely some items that I don't think are considered vintage, but it was well curated. I'm excited to go back and look for some more clothing. Only complaint is the music was just a touch too loud for me.

The store is well-organized and there's never a shortage or interesting finds. This was my first time bringing my daughter here (age 13), and that caused a one bit of discomfort for me: the employees and a friend/guest/customer were discussing drug experiences with one another. I don't recall the specifics (or even whether it was the employees who were contributing most to the conversation). It was just a conversation I'd prefer she not be present to hear. --I'm not taking away stars for this, however, because I don't think 13 year olds are their target clientele and, as a parent, I brought her to this place that is frequented by college students more often than not. There was always the option to leave.
