    As long as you don't go super close to Halloween you are straight going here. The store and staff get a little rough the closer it gets to Halloween. But hey I would too if I had a bunch of idiots running amok in the store scrambling to find costumes or Halloweeny items. I have gone here for party decorations, favors, costumes, candy and of course our most recent purchase a sombrero. Party City never fails me when I need random odds and ends like this. Gold plastic coins for the end of my rainbow treasure yup they had them... as well as candy ones to mix it up a bit. Party city is a great place to browse too for any occasion they have some clever items that you never knew you needed till you strolled through there. Check it out with time and planning you should find everything you need. But once again be warned Halloween is not the time to go!

    Although the balloons took forever to get blown up...the cashier Raphael was very cordial. Funny helpful and quick. Hooked me up with a free little character weight for waiting for a while. :)

    Didn't even bother to call or follow the rules of NOT leaving them at the front door. They tie them at the gate!!!

    I order balloons online for my nice who turned 16, since we couldn't throw her a party I wanted her to have a big bouquet of balloons and ordered 22 balloons. They were for next day delivery, they said they will be delivered the next day between the hours of 4-7pm and they will call when they are on their way. Next day comes and I get an e-mail at 10:30am saying that they had delivered them so I called my sister to ask her and she said nothing has arrived yet. We keep checking in with each other throughout the day until the delivery time, and nothing. I tried to call the store to see what is going on but no answer. Of course they are closed by then. I wait until the next day, my sister lets me know that she had a call saying that they were sorry and they will be delivering them by 11am so we waited. Well, 11 came and went and nothing. By then I am really angry because they ruined the surprise and her small celebration for my niece, it was her 16th birthday!! And she had no balloons for her birthday. I kept calling throughout the day and I can't get anyone on the phone. The phone will either hang up, sound busy or never answered so I decided to go to the store. I went to Palomar from Mission valley and was ready to get my money back and build up a storm. I asked about the balloons and asked why they weren't delivered, I was calm and didn't yell. I wanted to know what had happened. Two of the employees answered that they had a delivery service and by their looks on their faces it seems like this wasn't the only time this has happened. The delivery service is Hertz. So they only offered to give me the balloons right there for me to take or wait for the delivery person who "had just left an hour ago". I decided not to take chances and take them. They were late and everything but my niece deserve to have something for her birthday even if it was the day after. I took my balloons and I thought this was done since they told me that they will call the delivery guy to cancel the delivery he had. Well that didn't happened, the next day, which is 2 days after they were supposed to deliver them she got the balloons!! They actually made it to her house to deliver them, BUT they didn't even followed party city rules! They didn't called, they left them tied at the gate not give them to her like they said and of course they were 2 days late!! I don't know how they are even surviving! I will never use their delivery ever again or order online.

    Supposedly my order was ready by 12:55 but I was played because they didn't have anything at all.

    Horrible experience EVER! If I would of gotten their names then I would put them on blast. Today is a Wednesday and barely anyone in the store when I arrived. I ordered online for 3 balloons that said "happy birthday" and this symbol "#" as well for this "?" I received the confirmation email saying that my order was ready. Went a couple of minutes before my reservation at the restaurant I had because supposedly I just simply had to pick them up since I paid online but no. I arrived and they only had the "#" nothing else. I am very disappointed with the customer service as well because there was no apology whatsoever from any of the two ladies. I asked if they had at least different colors for the items that they didn't have and instead of checking because let's be real here "they" are in the wrongs they proceed to say you can go check on aisle 7. Ok, sorry but setting up items on the shelves aren't that important when you have a customer who's order didn't have anything ready or have anything at ALL. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. Go somewhere else.

    Just to expensive now a days. Go to mom and pop places for your balloons they are way cheaper and they are exactly the same.

    Order ahead of time if you're going to order balloons. They need 45 minutes to blow them up. WTF?

    If this is the store that's located at the Westfield Plaza Bonita mall that's in a white tent, I…read morewould have not given any stars! My husband Bought me a cat accessory the day be for yesterday. Wasn't the right one. Came in the next day to return it ( never been used, never opened, still in perfect condition). To my surprise, one of the managers helping me said this type of accessory is non refundable (even though on the receipt it says that it is...) I asked if I could have info. To get hold of their district manager. Would not give me anything. So, I called guest services and explained the situation. They tried to call the store, they wouldn't answer. Guest services ask that I email them my receipt and pictures of the items. So I did. Guest services then emails me back later that day saying "after speaking with the district store manager , it seems there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the condition of the item" and if I could provide more pictures.... I was so surprised because when I went in to turn in the item, the condition of the item was not even a conversation I had with two managers there, they both just looked at it and automatically said no, non refundable because they said these types of items are hard to sell... Cat ears, tail, and choker, in perfect condition and they don't want to refund me the item when on the receipt it saids they accept refunds, depending on condition of item with receipt until Oct.18th... Someone at that store is either lying and scamming customers from returning certain items... This is not ok. Thankfully after speaking with guest services I was able to return this item and receive a refund. So I will continue my business with this establishment because the guest services were very helpful and gave me great customer service and support and made up for the awful customer service I received from management yesterday.

We had to wait outside in line approximately 25 minutes before they let us in to the store. Prices were more expensive than on Amazon.
