Extremely long wait......... Definitely don't come here if you are ordering balloons for a party and need to pick them up the day of or on the weekend if you are in any type of hurry. This store needs to do one or more of the following: Staff more people on the weekends, hiring faster cashiers, and or invest in faster software. After browsing a decent selection of party items priced at top dollar you then have the pleasure of waiting up to 30 minutes to pay for your overpriced party goods. I personally don't see the value of coming to this store unless they have something you need and can't find anywhere else. read more

WELCOME TO THE PARTY! This Party City location is very spacious, has lots of parking due to it being in a small outdoor mall. As soon as you open their door you are greeted. "Welcome to The Party!" Everything is very well setup either by colors, themes, occasion, holiday etc... There is a very good amount of employees on the floor helping with customers needs. Special Shout out to Leslie (Experience Lead) for filling out our balloons for our son's 10th Birthday, right there on the spot! You saved the day! If you need supplies for a party, then this is the place! There was a great selection of plates and silverware and cups and napkins and everything you can possibly imagine! Purple was my color of choice, to match my shirt, so we were able to get everything color coordinated! Later, I realized the true proper color for a Yelp party is red. Oops! This place is a waste of time and effort. If you have last minute party needs, particularly if you need them to take 2 minutes out of their time to blow helium into a balloon, you have come to the wrong place. I arrived yesterday afternoon to this location to purchase a balloon for my daughter's birthday. I did so but was informed at the register that they do not inflate balloons with helium to "walk-ups". Who has every been told that before at a "party store"??? I kindly told them I will pay whatever they charge, I just need this right away because of a party happening. The woman at the register in a snappy manner stated "well you need to buy this and take it to Publix because we can't help you here. They can inflate balloons at Publix." She's telling me this 6 feet away from helium tanks. The cashier was abrupt and snarky with me about that as if she was stating a fact I should already know. Yet you're in a building with a sign out front that literally says "We Have Helium." So let me get this straight... Party City sells overcharged balloons ($almost $30 for a simple letter balloon for my daughter's birthday) that they expect Publix to inflate for them despite having helium right next to them that they refuse to use? This is pathetic. What's worse, when I went to the nearby Publix, their manager was inflating balloons and told me they have had a large number of people who also were sent here by Party City to inflate their balloons, which for a $3 fee he didn't mind but felt it was quite odd considering they advertise having helium. This location is a joke. I will make sure that everyone I know never buys anything from this scam location again. They should be ashamed of themselves to use a name like "Party city". read more

We got some Helium ballons for $16.99 plus taxes on Monday, and came back on Saturday to fill them up. They sell you the package as a "free" fill up, however, when i got to the store i had to go through a huge line for the manager to tell me that they were low on Helium and could not do it!!! Besides, everyone on the store was no help at all!!!! Believe me, there are other places over there, avoid this one at all costs. If i had listen to the other reviews i would be just fine now, instead of running around now to other stores! read more

With other large department stores, there is hardly a need for large party stores anymore. However, if you are looking for a name brand theme for a party such as Thomas the Train or Mickey Mouse, this is the best place for it. They are highly over priced, but it comes with the territory. The one thing that this store is good for are balloons. They have the best prices and the largest selection. However, on 2 occasions the balloon order that I made was completely wrong when I went to pick it up. I recommend placing a call to confirm the correct order before you make the trip to pick them up. They corrected the order on both occasions, but it does take a little bit of time....something that you have none of, when you are getting ready for a party! During Halloween they have quite the selection of costumes and decor. Be conscious of their return policy, especially if you are buying for someone that is not in the store at the time of purchase. They are competitive with the Halloween stores that come to town in October. Shop around though - don't get gouged!! read more

This Party City is no different than any of the others ones I've been in around the country. It's located across from the mall in Clearwater. It's clean, well organized and easy to find. They have a good selection of all things party and celebration. The staff is friendly and helpful! There is a full wall behind the register of all things helium related. There are balloons I've never seen any other place. They will fill them for you and if they deflate before your event they will refill it for free. At Halloween the right side of the store and most of the isles are all things related to the holiday. If the costume you want is not available they will order it right there for you. If you see something online and not in the store they will ship it, no extra charge. There is a full party candy isle with baggies available for party favors. They have wedding, school, sports, and many other themes available in the store at all times! Go check it out!! read more

Unbelievable! I buy 18 Helium Balloons and the ask me if I want a balloon bag for $1 to but the balloons in so they do not go all over the car. I had to buy 2 bags for 18 balloons. This is a fun store to visit to help add the festive touch no matter the occasion. They have a great amount of selection and always well stocked. The only issue I have is with their balloon filler. I typically just get mine filled at Publix because there is never a wait. They have one person filling balloons and on a weekend there could be an hour's worth of people ahead of you. If you're a party store, why wouldn't there be a more efficient way to have balloons filled. But as far as the products available, A+. Staff has also been very friendly the handful of times I've visited this location. read more

My experience at this Party City was to say the least, terrible. I went there with my family to scope out some patriotic gear for their softball game next Tuesday. That part of our shopping spree was great, smooth, and went according to plan. Just as we were leaving, I saw they had a candy bar, 10 candies for $1.00, and I impulsively bought 10 Hershy's Kisses. When I got into the car, I opened two of them, the first one regular tasting and the next, I noticed a little hole in the chocolate. I thought nothing of it and when I went to go bite into it, I tasted something spicy, and I thought to myself, "chocolate isn't spicy?" And I just decided that one was a dud. We needed to go to Dick's Sporting Goods and while in that store I opened up 3 more of my chocolates. They tasted regular, and I was pretty happy with my Party City experience at this point, I mean the staff was nice and helpful, and the place had pretty good business, so what's not to like? The bump in the road appeared when I opened that 3rd one. It had the same hole in it as the last one only this time I chose to investigate a little closer. Upon investigating I saw that the hole wasn't a hole, and just as I saw that a bug scattered from it. I was in complete shock and I immediately dropped the candy and consulted my family to go take them back. Its almost two days later now and I've begun to do research on the type of bug that would want to reside in chocolate and found that it was a Flour Beetle. Please, for your own health and safety, don't let you or your children eat out of Party City's candy bar and stay away from their foods in general. I won't be returning. read more

Order your stuff through Amazon...they have a HUGE SELECTION!! I called this particular store this morning at 9:46 am looking for top hats. I was assured by the rep that took my call that this store had a wide variety of top hats in all different colors and even asked what color top hat I was looking for. I advised the rep that I would just come in to browse there selection and thanked her for her time. My mistake for thinking this employee knew what a top hat was, because upon my arrival to the store that afternoon, I quickly learned that the hat I was looking for was barely in stock and only offered in black plastic. Luckily a lady who seemed like the manager showed me what was in stock and apologized for me being mislead by the employee. That may be the only reason I ever return to this location instead of ordering what I need online. read more
