I can always find last minute items I forgot to order here. Even if they are not party items. I have started using the app to place pickup orders and I love it. The staff always have my orders ready to go when I arrive. Over the years I can recall a few times the employees at this location were rude and disrespectful. That is no longer the case. Each of my recent experiences have been pleasant and welcoming. Thank goodness to whomever or whatever brought about that change. read more

Rude employees. Prepare to stand around and wait. I've patronized this location a few times and the customer service is rarely there. Today there were 4 people at the front . Two were preparing balloon orders. One was on register and one was just standing at the front looking at people. No one asked me if I needed assistance. Eventually stopped one employee as they were walking to the back and asked where an item was located. Why have curbside as an option if the store is not going to participate ..waited in my car for 20 mins just to walk in and grab my own balloons from the center aisle . If I could give a lower score I would.... My neighbor asked me to pick up her balloon order. I arrive .... the balloons are partially inflated. The bag was sinking to the ground . I asked the guys to remove the balloons from the bag so that I could see if they would rise. He took one set out. That set had 3 popped balloons. I took the balloons to my neighbor and the second bag as I thought ....had sunk and didn't rise to the ceiling. I will never use this location . Ghetto.... I heard the manager tell customers they were low on helium so at 2pm in the afternoon they were not fulfilling anymore balloon orders. So even if I wanted the balloons redone they couldn't!!! So I place an order for curbside pick-up on the evening of 5/23. I am informed via email at that time that my order will be ready the following day within two hours of placing my order. The email said that I would receive an email when my order is ready. The email is very informative but no where does it mention that I cannot pick up my order before noon despite being notified that it was ready. I was surprised to get an email on 5/24 at 9:540am indicating that my order was ready for pickup. I arrive at the store at 11:15am and call the number on the door for curbside pick-up. No one answers the phone even though I can see employees walking around the store. The answering service says that you can't pickup curbside orders until noon. If the email that informed me that my order contained this information I wouldn't have to sit in my car for 40 minutes to pick up my order. I am very unhappy with this service. read more

Alright, its baby shower time! Party City, the place to go when you need anything to have fun fun fun! Okay, this location is in the shopping center on the corner of 228 and 301. The parking is fair to middling, which is what I thought about this store. Oh yea, the store itself will be moving soon, to the other side of the building. Don't make the mistake I made by going in there...doh! This party city is small, real small. I think that most things were crunched up in this tiny space. I went there on this date to pick up some balloons for a party, the staff were helpful and they appeared to be having fun, too much fun... I really didn't think that there should have been wait times considering there was at least seven people behind the counter and maybe two customers..... Ah well. I was at the store for almost 45 minutes just to get three balloons filled with air. When I went to the register the first sales associate stated that she was new & did not know how to fill the balloons she went to get another associate to assist her but the woman had an attitude and was filling up the balloons for 4 different customers & working the register & helping me at the same time with ABSOLUTELY NO ORDER than got an attitude when I was there first but was not helping me first. I had a call a manager over to address the issue because these woman were unprofessional & had the nerve to laugh when they thought I was not paying attention . Waste of time and money. Placed an on line order and received an email confirming that the order was ready. Arrived at the store and had to list off all of the items in the order so that the employee could find it. At that point they discovered that the order was not ready. Visited the store earlier in the week and was told no balloon orders because they were out of helium and did not know when more would arrive. Employees all stand behind the counter and talk about when they are getting off. No one is circulating the store to assist customers. If there is ever a point where a competitor comes to the area, this store will go out of business quickly. read more

Two girls working today showed no customer service and they were really rude! So I walked out and I will be telling everyone to NOT go to this location. The worst party store. We found everything we needed and checked out at the register with 6 regular balloons which they told us would take about 15 minutes to blow up which was very reasonable. 25 minutes later we were still waiting with no one even going over to the balloon area. Finally at 35 minutes waiting a manager frantically comes up and starts working on an order that's not even ours and there was no one there before us. I politely asked how much longer it would be for our balloons and she completely ignores me and says "it's coming". A team member in training comes to the front and starts helping blow up balloons. All of our balloons get blown up but they just put them to back and keep blowing up other balloons. At this point it has been 45 minutes so we ask if we can get our balloons and we will attach them to the weights. She very rudely says "no you cannot get them I will get them" well duh. We weren't gonna come back there to grab them. She was snappy with us and just pushed the balloons towards us. Definitely not the behavior you want to see from a manager. Will not be returning to this location. read more
