I am stunned. My first time. I selected my items whilst dodging someone on a big ladder right in the aisle. I persevered and went to check out. ONE young girl waiting on the same woman for several long minutes. The guy on the ladder ran out. Another guy came up to help at the registers. The customer needed balloons. They are still waiting in line! Are you kidding me? Service is close to non existent and the wait to check out is ridiculous. The woman in front of me told me she never comes here when she's in a hurry. Death will come sooner. I left and will go to Target or elsewhere. How do you compete when your service is so poor. I went in there with all the other slackers to buy a last minute costume for my girls. The staff were completely aloof and unorganized (even in their attempts to be organized). In the end we got what we needed but the personel are not really "in-to" their job. Maybe that is just want happens in retail. I am not feeling compelled to come back there anytime soon. Even thought they have lots of stuff.. I am not into employees that seem unhelpful and aloof to what their clients needs. read more

Ordered balloons for pick up and when I arrived they hadn't even started and they weren't apologetic. Service just isn't good here anyway. When you go to check out or pick up something they look at you like you're a burden and you have to ask for help or your order. read more

Everything at the new Winter Garden shopping center is new and clean. Many of the stores, like Party City, are large too. There are row after row of party supplies and costumes. It is fun to wander around and check out all the cool stuff. There are things there you didn't even know existed! They have lots of balloons and even rent helium tanks. Employees seem to mostly be behind the counter and not overly friendly. read more

I usually have a good experience with Party City but lately it hasn't been the same quality service I would expect. This evening I arrived at 5:54 (they close at 6:00) because I needed something for my classroom. I saw people in line and new exactly what I needed. I was in line with my item at 5:59 and the young lady, Kayla, literally did not acknowledge us in any capacity. No eye contact, no words... and proceeded to tap her fingers as though we were troubling her. It was evident that she was annoyed and I even told her that I appreciated her letting us shop at the end of the night and still not a word. I understand wanting to go home but if your sign says open until 6:00, a consumer should feel welcome until 6:00. read more

Halloween costumes- nice selection but beware ridiculous process to get it. Huge hassle factor. First find the number of the costume on back wall. No one around to ask so head to registers. Told there should be a person back at wall so go back, find her. She puts in the "order" and tells you to go to another place and someone will give it to you. Wait, then same person who placed "order" just goes to get it for you. Quite ridiculous. Party City has been selling costumes for years. You think they would have it figured out by now without customers walking all over the store. Got home and pieces were missing from the package. Be sure to check before leaving the store! read more

every time i go to this party city they are always out of helium. if your looking to get helium i recommend going to another party city or a target (the target is in the same parking lot). they say that they don't have any but they won't even go look. also super unfriendly staff members. shopping carts are nasty and so is the store mostly. from passed experiences here they never have the balloon order is ready on time. read more

I stopped by here to grab some birthday supplies and was overwhelmed with the amount of product they have here! Whatever type of celebration you're having they have the decorations for it and then they have items you never thought you needed for the party! You'll definitely be walking out with more than you expected. They even have aisles devoted just to specific colors and everything was really well organized. It's the toys r us of party planning! Some things are over priced but there aren't many other places to get some of these items. They have tons of helium balloons at the check out counter as well. The only down side is that the employees look exhausted and disinterested. There wasn't any communication other than the final total but I walked out with everything I needed and more! read more

The store itself is laid out nicely, specifically when you compare it to older Party City locations like the one in Altamonte Springs. They had plenty of items in stock, many things I would have never thought of to use for a party (an probably never needed). We rented a helium tank from them for a party, the sales associate was helpful behind the counter. They did seem a bit understaffed though, as with only one cashier, I was holding up the line while waiting to get the tank, and then the lone manager there had to get it for me, causing a rather long wait. Overall, it is a nice store, but the managerial staff seems a bit underwhelming. read more

It's cheap, one-use stuff for a party. You can buy the illusion of fun. They have tiki gods, fake gee-tars and loads of beads. If it's made for an event, holiday or birthday - they have it and in an assortment of fashion colors. read more

I went to this Party City to go and get 2 numbered Birthdya balloons. There was a 45 minute wait just to blow up balloons. At least 6 staff were there behind the counter, chatting and not doing much. 2 girls were slowly blowing up a balloon here and there. Oddly there wasn't a large order they were handling. Just simply moving very slow, inattentive, and a lack of production. In the end I had to travel to another store spending an additional $10 to have these balloons blown up because this Party City does not blow up balloons as soon as you purchase them or designate roles accordingly. read more

I called to see if they had a costume that was told by me was in stock. The girl put me on hold for almost 20 minutes and then said they didn't have it because she couldn't find them in the back?? The manager then got on the phone and was so rude. He said it's not my fault the inventory was incorrect and hung up on me! Every time I've attempted to go to this particular Party City there is always a disconnect with customer service!! Always a screwed up order and nobody seems to know what they are doing or takes responsibility. read more
