I have changed my review to a 1 star. If I could give 0 I would. I believe these 2 guys take advantage of women with hair loss no matter what reason. The every expensive wigs after just a few months are frizzing and falling apart. I will update soon with pics. I called the business right after purchase with some concerns and was called back by the owner. He left a message that had no relevance to my concerns. I tried to call back several times and it would go to a "full" VM. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. The owner is nothing but a salesman. I feel he had no real concern for what I wanted. I bought on emotion and he took advantage of that. One of the wigs has a huge gap in the scalp. I have followed the directions and it is still falling apart/frizzing. I will post a pic soon of the wig that is falling apart. And beware...dont let him sell you the $89 package for a wig brush, cap and wig stand. The wig stand is cheap plastic and you can buy the brush for $4 on Amazon. It also included a "wig" shampoo and another cheap bottle of wig spray. I also tipped him $20. I have short hair and love to be wild and free and keep it fashion colored. Everybody loves it, except employers. To secure employment, I was struggling with dyeing my hair back to a "normal" color or getting a wig. I went into the store with questions. The store had a large selection of wigs that seemed to fit many price ranges. Linda was the person that helped me. She was knowledgeable about the different types, styles, and colors of hair. She helped me pick out a few to try on, explaining the pros and cons of each one. She was a lovely lady and I didn't feel rushed or pressured to buy anything. I went back and forth between a couple and even wanted to see longer styles. Linda told me what ones looked best with my face shape and coloring. I was finally able to choose one. Once I had made a decision, Linda showed me how to put it on another couple of times to make sure I had it right, she told me how to wash it and take care of it. The store also carried head wraps, hats with hair, jewelry, makeup, and costume wigs, but I wasn't there for any of that. Seemed like they had a good selection though. Yes there was a cap fee of $5 or $6, but I'd much rather pay that than get lice. This is another store that I would start to explain by saying, "wow." Followed by a smile since it was such a unique and fun place to browse around. If only the word unique had 10 synonyms I would probably use all of them. The lounging mannequin on the sidewalk in front, dressed in a skimpy, sparkly purple ensemble holding the sign that lets you know they are open on Sundays, might be a good way to understand what lies ahead once you're inside. I definitely believe the name, "Ritzy Rags," is fitting for this wig, costume, and "gift" shop. I am not sure that their description of "gift shop" is necessarily adequate if you are picturing a common gift shop. But I suppose you could certainly find gifts for others in here. The difference being these gifts are flashy, sometimes raunchy (the greeting cards), and certainly one-of-a-kind. Their collection of wigs is impressive yet they are not the kind that women would wear on an everyday basis. They are brightly colored and are very loud. And if you are dressing up, they have an entire case and counter for theatrical makeup...and the boas, platform boots, feathers, and stockings to match. Many name brand knockoff purses hung on the walls and sell for $50. The associate working was awful friendly and nice and was enjoying his job. And as I left, I saw the sign that stated, "Halloween Needs." Which made me realize that this store would be perfect for the best dress-up holiday there is. read more

So this place, so helpful and great beauty items that are hard to find! I have shopped here a couple of times and found items you simply cannot find elsewhere in Orlando. There is a big selection of stage makeup that is intended to provide a maximum pop of color and lots of coverage. The makeup is perfect for face painting, dramatic looks, and heavy duty wear. There is an impressive selection of liquid glitter and false lashes for every (and I mean *every* occasion). Page helped me at the cosmetics counter and it was a so fun. I learned a ton about color and coverage, and I was able to try some testers out. If you want a smaller container of a certain product just ask since it might be stocked under the counter. I mean where else are you going to find a bottle of zesty mint flavored stage blood in the Orlando area? They were well stocked with Ben Nye and Kryolan makeup products. The store also has a huge selection of wigs, unique vintage costumes, stockings in extended sizing, outrageous costume jewelry, and some body prosthetics. If you need to "werk it" for Halloween or any other fantastic event, come check out this place to make your appearance more dramatic and memorable. read more

I am a hairstylist at Educe Salon just a few doors down from here. Recently, a long time client of 15+ years began their journey thru cancer and chemo. I have shaved their hair off at their request. They had also purchased a wig that I then cut and styled for them. After a few weeks, my client decided they wanted/needed a new wig or hat w/hair, just more options. On Monday June 26, 2018 I arrived prior to my clients arrival and introduced myself to Leigh and why I was there. Leigh was so amazing from the beginning.
