What a fun old school shop!…read more I've drove by so many times over the years and finally stopped in today. I previously stopped into a local grocery store to purchase a balloon, but didn't get any service despite being in the department for 10 minutes. I decided to take my business elsewhere and knew I needed to stop into Party Adventure in downtown SCS. Parking is located in the back. I walked in and was immediately greeted by two kind individuals, who let me peruse and admire all the balloons and various party items. I walked out with a large Mylar balloon and a garden flag for $14. Prices were great and I loved being able to support a local spot. Will definitely be making it a habit of stopping in. With so many options, you'll definitely find something you like too.

I found the item I was originally looking for through no assistance of anyone working there that you would think would have a better idea of their stock than I would!! Poor attitude and then some from the cashier today. Even asked her if she was having a bad day. Customer before me mentioned her loyalty number and she snapped that she would put the number in after. Okay. So when she started running up my order I mentioned that I had a loyalty number. No response. She rang up the sale and I mentioned it again. Well by that time it was too late. She called for manager. I told her to forget it. That's when I asked if she was having a bad day What happened to just being friendly and some customer service?!
