Our experience with Party Pleasers was a bit of a journey, but ultimately, they delivered where it mattered most. To be completely honest, we had a rough start. I initially worked with Jeff Heidelberg, and unfortunately, communication was very frustrating. Multiple calls and emails went unanswered, and with the wedding getting closer--about a month out--it definitely added unnecessary stress. Thankfully, everything turned around at the right time. During a meeting at Manor House, I found out Party Pleasers was onsite and had the opportunity to connect with Tasha. She was wonderful from the moment we spoke--responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in understanding our vision. She followed through on everything she said she would do and took the time to meet with me to ensure we were aligned. The results reflected that care. The atrium looked exactly like the vision we had provided--it was beautifully executed. The head table was also done very nicely and fit the overall look perfectly. While I don't believe the uplighting was fully in place as expected, what was done still looked good and added to the ambiance. The photo settee wasn't quite what we originally envisioned, but it still worked well in the space. The large repurposed floral pieces from Robin Wood Flowers really helped bring that area together and created a beautiful effect. Don't hesitate! Book PartyPleasers now! We didn't realize how integral a DJ would be for the success of our day, and in retrospect we are so glad we went with PartyPleasers! They were by far the most professional and personable in the initial meetings, and although they were a little pricier than we were hoping to spend it ended up being worth every penny. Once signing the contract we were immediately given access to an app called Vibo which was our one stop planning shop! In the app we answered somewhere around 100 questions about our wedding day. I know it sounds excessive, but it really helped us in our planning to think about things that wouldn't have come up naturally and also ensured we could give a complete and total picture of the day to our DJ. We were also able to input song choices for all the special moments in the app, as well as share a link to enable guests to add their requests which was fun! We were assigned Alex Eveslage as our DJ and he was AMAZING! We met about a week prior to the wedding and discussed the details from A to Z including timeline and outline for the night. Alex ensured that the whole evening flowed smoothly and perfectly matched the vibe of our crowd. Our dance floor was packed the entire time open dancing was going on and our guests couldn't stop raving about how much fun our wedding was! Alex continued to check in with us throughout the night to ensure everything was going well, and he even indulged a ridiculous special request from me. We used Party Pleasers for our wedding and highly recommend. Jon Grice was our DJ and he was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We had some specific requests and he followed all requests. He did an outstanding job with helping and guiding us through the planning process and his execution was flawless. Highly recommended for DJ services!!! They made my wedding planning and wedding stress free. DJ Rico (Justin) was PHENOMENAL. Our dance floor was packed the whole night and we had so many guest so how great he was. We had over 350 guest and not a single complaint was made. Best Feature: DJ was friendly and did run the reception fairly well Worst Feature: Exceptionally poor communication, no custom playlist used, etc. I recently got married and took advantage of a cyber Monday deal with this vendor (Monday after Black Friday) to get an additional credit towards our overall deal for a wedding reception. I had done a lot of research on DJs and was hoping that this would be a good choice. Unfortunately for us it was absolutely not. At first, everything seemed great. Our DJ was very friendly and we happily planned out our service and lighting decor. We also used the advantage of the custom playlist to create our online playlist for music we wanted at the reception - total waste of time as none of them ended up being played. We did hear one of our requests played, but as we later found out our friend had specifically requested it from the DJ who had never even heard of the song - bad call since we'd made a list with it on there. If we needed to do something before the wedding to ensure he knew of the list and could play it, it would have been great to know. Our DJ was getting married just weeks before our own wedding, so I was hoping he'd have an even better understanding of how important we'd find the event since he himself was getting married. We received an e-mail nearer the event requesting we finalize our plans no less than 2 weeks beforehand and we wanted to be sure we had things finalized, so we gave our DJ a call. No response. We called the main line and left a message - no response. We attempted a few more times over the course of the week and eventually I remembered our DJ had mentioned his marriage so I assumed at this point he must be on his honeymoon. We finally got a hold of him AFTER his honeymoon (just one week before our own wedding) and confirmed details (sure enough he was MIA because he was on his honeymoon), but the fact absolutely NO ONE got back to us about this until just ONE week before our wedding was astonishing. We're paying money for services - if they know their DJ is going to be out of town (and they did, one of the DJs at Party Pleasers ran our DJ's reception), someone should get back to us and either confirm well beforehand (pre-wedding / honeymoon) or help us while we're racing to finalize everything just a week before the wedding. The lighting we requested was two colors for our uplights and we were reassured just 2 days before our wedding our DJ himself knew where the lighting supplies were and would definitely have our requested 2 colors at the event. Now frankly the two colors were not going to make or break our reception - it's just colors for uplights. What really upset me was the fact that when we got to the reception, I realized very quickly only one color was used - and no one had called or communicated to let me know anything would be different than what we ordered. In fact, our DJ had smoothly assured us he'd be handling it himself and it would be exactly as we requested. It wasn't. I also don't appreciate the DJ informed me he did not like our wedding coordinator after the reception. I went up to thank him for his services and he decided to tell me he didn't like the wedding coordinator we'd hired for the day of the wedding. I can totally understand if a vendor isn't thrilled with another vendor, but don't tell the bride how much you don't like another vendor. Not professional. We paid for both - and I can tell you right now I loved our wedding coordinator as she communicated well with all of us and ran the day-of events incredibly well. If I had to choose again, I'd definitely re-hire the wedding coordinator and choose a different DJ service because at least I felt the coordinator could be trusted and was very communicative. If you're going to promise something, deliver. And if something has to change, then at least have the courtesy to communicate it. We're paying for services - we at least are owed that much. Instead, we really felt like the communication absolutely was not there and that as far as DJs go, we would not ever choose them again nor recommend their services. It was average service and if I could get that kind of service for a lower dollar amount, I totally would. read more

Party Pleasers gave us a FANTASTIC sales pitch and it all ended there. The dj Doug called me and my new husband by the wrong names throughout our entire wedding reception. The expensive lighting package we paid several hundred dollars for didn't even work. Overpriced and unprofessional. The owner was awful to deal with and refused to give us even a partial refund. One of the things that we were most concerned about in planning our wedding was obtaining a DJ who would take our unique needs and requirements as a same-sex couple into huge consideration. Brent went above and beyond all expectations! He was incredible to work with throughout the entire process. With any issues/last minute changes that popped up throughout the process, Brent was on it, and adjusting prior to us needing to initiate anything. My (now) wife and I had a pretty interesting route to using party pleasers to provide our DJ, but we couldn't have been happier with their services. We had booked a different DJ for our wedding, but about a week before the actual wedding there was a pretty major issue with the DJ the prevented him from being able to work our wedding. Alisa (DJ Blayde) from party pleasers stepped in at the last minute and completely saved us, and she also did a really good job at the wedding. She listened to all of our requests regarding the atmosphere we wanted and all of the special song requests we had, and everybody had a great time.
