I found Jonathan via a Nextdoor referral to DJ my wife's birthday party, and we were very happy with the entire experience! As opposed to another company that were difficult to work with on reservation/contract, he is very friendly, communicative, and accommodating to our needs and music. His quote was slightly higher than others, but proved worth the extra. While not drawing a lot of attention to himself, he certainly had our 70+ guests up and dancing and singing karaoke through the evening. We will definitely hire him again. read more

Jonathan did an incredible job as our DJ for our wedding! He was recommended by our wedding planner/coordinator, who was her DJ as well. He sent a great questionnaire, and did an initial consultation to show us his set up, his ideas, and to ask us about our vision for our wedding. He was super awesome the day of, and when we had any questions the week of, he was available and easy to contact. I would absolutely recommend him for your wedding or any event. read more

We were so, so glad that Jonathan was available on our wedding day! We had a minor debacle before him, where the person we'd hired previously became unreliable; Jonathan stepped in and was the consummate professional. He was incredible. We never doubted for a minute that he'd handle our wedding with grace and aplomb--and he did! We had playlists and very specific songs we wanted, and he worked with us with absolutely no complaint, and utter professionalism. He held meetings with us, was very clear about what he'd provide, double-checked our details, and arrived early on the day of our event--smiling and with a great attitude! He is also very humble and a steady, friendly presence while doing announcements. We couldn't have been happier with Jonathan. Hire this man! :) read more

Jonathan is very professional, kind, and great at what he does. We had him for our wedding and he was very easy to talk to and had great communication. Any questions I had he answered right away. He not only came with me to my venue to see it during a walk through but he also met with me a week before my wedding to go over everything. He also had a handout with a lot of questions/suggestions that I would have never thought of. He is very organized! Also at the end of the night he also offered to help carry stuff but I didn't let him haha. He is amazing you won't regret hiring him for your event. read more

Where do I start, Jon was amazing through the whole process of setting up all the details down to the day of our wedding. Everyone loved him and how professional and courteous he was. Dude has one hell of a music selection and played everyone song requested!!! He also was not like most DJ's out there who will make you deaf by the end of the night with blaring the music. If I had to recommend a DJ. Jon is your guy! I would hire him back in a heartbeat!!! Also his pricing is fair and honestly you can't get any more bang for your buck! read more

He handled everything from give sways to MC'ing the event and making sure it went smooth.. I spoke to a dozen DJ's most of all where old and did not have any ideas about teen parties.. or where too young and were trying to DJ with a Karaoke box and that's it.. Highly recommended, he made it easy for me and the kids had a blast.. read more

Party Time DJ Services brought it all! It was fun, music was perfect and appropriate. Jonathan did an amazing job DJ-ing our Masquerade Ball for our high school group. He knew just what music to play and when to bring in some extra fun! Jonathan was so prepared and so easy to work with. The photo-booth was an extreme hit with all the kids. It was a great device! The kids go to see themselves before they took each shot and the photos were sent directly to each email address. That was the bomb! At the end of the dance, kids were asking how to get the photo booth for their next party. I'm so glad Jonathan left us with some business cards, everyone was asking for his information and they were easy to hand out. I'm so thankful for the memories that Party Time helped us create. They will be treasured for a lifetime. Thank you, Jonathan! read more

Searched and interviewed quite a number of DJs throughout San Diego when I found DJ Jonathan through recommendations from NextDoor neighbors. If you want a DJ who is professional, reasonably priced, and knows how to entertain, look no further. Have now used DJ Jonathan for a few milestone events, including daughter's college graduation and naval commissioning party and other daughter's 18th birthday. I originally hired someone else to DJ my wedding, but after a couple broken promises I decided to find someone else. I stumbled across Jonathan with Party Time DJ Services online and I am sure glad I did! From the very second I contacted him he was extremely professional, friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. I felt right at ease with him and had full confidence in his ability to make my wedding perfect. He met with me twice, listened to all my notes (trust me, I had A LOT), AND on the day of the wedding every single note was executed just as I asked. He worked seamlessly with my day of coordinator and other vendors ensuring all their announcing needs were met and the reception kept on schedule. He was able to read the crowd and keep the party going. He provided additional uplighting, dance floor lighting, and microphones for the ceremony, toasts, etc. If you are debating on if you should go with Party Time DJ Services, stop debating and just do it.
