Well, unfortunately I must revise my previous review. The company policy is that you either pay a fee to use a credit card, or use a company check. I explained that I have no company check, but I would be happy to pay with cash. I was told they don't take cash. I waited from the time I first received the quote (June 9th) to today for an answer about taking a personal check (my event isn't until July 16th). I called & the owner answered the phone. She curtly told me that they don't take personal checks so I'd have to pay the credit card fee. "We're not gonna eat that" were her exact words. I am a repeat customer. read more

Great customer service. They didn't offer delivery but their 3rd party vendor was great. I also appreciate not having to pay extra for a Saturday event. Most places charge for an extra day because they are closed on Sundays. read more

I needed last minute folding chairs for a sweet sixteen party for my daughter. I submitted an inquiry online literally 1 hour before closing time and on a Friday. I received a call back within 10 minutes of submission and was able to pick the chairs up the same day. The process was so quick and easy and gave me one less thing to worry about. Their team is amazing to work with and they are always on top of what needs to be done, stay organized, and constantly & successfully deal with last minute changes. They go above and beyond for us all season long and are always their to help. Dan, Lyndsay and Stacey (to only name a few) are amazing and always available to help with ideas and services, their customer service is incomparable, they are like family. Party Time's tents are gorgeous and come in all different shapes and sizes, their decor is phenomenal, and their staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help. I would give Party Time Rentals 0 stars if I could. This company just about ruined my wedding day. We rented chairs for the ceremony from them and had set everything up months in advance. We confirmed the week of the event that they would arrive and have the chairs set up more than an hour before the 5pm ceremony started. On the day of our wedding, they showed up at 5pm! What's worse is the workers had no sense of urgency. One of them sat in the truck as my guests set up the chairs!! This set our whole day back and cut into not just the ceremony, but also the reception. I cannot express how awful this company is and how badly they ruined a day that cannot be recreated. I detest this company and I implore you to NEVER use them. read more

I called several weeks in advance of my sons party to inquire about kids sized tables and chairs. I was told that they do have them but when I asked to reserve the rentals I was told to call the week prior. The Monday before - I called and made the reservation with no issues to be picked up Friday afternoon. I was on my way to pick them up when I received a call that there was apparently a "computer malfunction" and that they had over reserved the items and didn't have anything available to fulfill my reservation. When I asked why someone got priority over me they said that they went in order of whoever made the reservation first, which I feel like would have possibly been me had they been willing to take my reservation when I first called. They finally offered me 2 alternate companies that *might* be able to help me out last minute. If they had offered a more concise solution for me (i.e.: calling said companies in advance to confirm they could indeed help me last minute) this review would be different. Thank goodness this was a small order that was easily handled last minute by a more responsible company. read more

The girls at Party Time have been incredibly helpful!! They worked with me and my fiancé while we played with different table clothes, charger colors, plate designs, etc for hours. Lindsey and Jenna offered so many insightful opinions, and gave us a better idea of what our options really could be. They've been extremely flexible with every change we have made to our contract throughout our engagement. They even offered vendor suggestions for photographers/videographers, invitations, bridesmaid gowns- these ladies really know their stuff! My husband and I had a great experience with Party Time rentals. We didn't have a wedding planner and were paying out of pocket. Lyndsay Mack helped us find the look we were going for with out breaking the bank. It was important to me for our colors and theme to be consistent through out, and having watched a years worth of bridal shows I wanted my tables layered with color. Lyndsay suggested- why not use the napkins to add a splash of color? This suggestion and many others helped us save hundreds! The set up was beautiful and the crew was professional and efficient. Absolutely no flexibility regarding a reservation and very uncompetitive in pricing. I signed a contract, and alhough it had only been made 2 weeks prior and we had a change (they were unable to deliver, and when we decided that picking up flooring and transporting it 45 minutes, then installing it ourselves, packing it back up, and redelivering it, was too much given all the other stresses and strains to consider with a wedding), they were unwilling to let us out of it without demanding they keep $100 as a fee (the event was still over 5 weeks away). They made the generous offer to deliver it for $115, however their price was already $150 over the price of another vender nearby, and this other vendors price included delivery, installation and pickup. The result was that it was still cheaper to pay them the $100 and go with another vendor. Very unsatisfied. Poor customer service orientation. read more

I had to call several times to get a quote and email three times in order to get a final quote from the representative. She always seemed to have an excuse. When she would respond it was always late in the day after I had called repeatedly. We paid our deposit and everything seemed fine. She was to get the Zoning Permit and Fire Permit as I presumed they have done many times. The tent went up on a Friday and at 4 p.m. after the tent is already up I get a call that the Zoning Permit was denied and she needed a letter from the owner of the property. This is **AFTER** the tent is up and the day of. I had an hour to track down the property manager and get a letter signed and to the City Zoning Office. While I was doing this she called and asked for payment?! I had less than an hour and she was concerned about getting paid over doing what they should had done a week prior. Instead, she waited til the afternoon that the tent was going up to get the Zoning Permit. The excuse was that it was a Christmas the day prior even though she should have got the permit a week prior at minimum. To top it all off, her boss calls to ask why he was not paid yet?! He proceeded to call my client and tell them that he was not paid. All the while we still do not have the Zoning Permit. Totally unprofessional, very unreliable! Be wary. I will certainly be sharing with others about this. read more
