Thank you Party Reflections!…read more Over the weekend I hosted my Bridal Shower. The party was a total success!!! I invited 12 guest. I worked with Lindsay Martin before she left the company. I measured all the rooms on the first level of my house. During my appointment I brought a mood board, along with a guest count of 30ppl. Lindsay was Soooooooo helpful!!! Of course I wanted a large number of people for a luncheon: After reviewing my measurements, Lindsay informed me that I wouldn't have enough room to set the tables like I wanted. So we played with a few options (Tables, seating etc) I decided to invite only 12 people...which worked perfectly. Next step was linens, I LOVED The pink and white Chevron. Which they custom ordered to fit the tables. I also ordered 5Satin Pink Table Clothes and 12 White padded chairs. Delivery: I was informed they would deliver between 8am-5pm On Thursday. Three Gentlemen arrived at 10am to deliver everything. They were very professional. I cleared both rooms to make things easier....They offered to set the tables up. Brought the linens inside on hangers in a clear garment bag. I was so exited to set everything up!! All the lines were in Perfect condition! Of course I steamed the wrinkles out. When I called for clarity, I was met with rudeness and then pushed to the owner, who was slick, dishonest, and showed zero care or interest in our wedding. And please know this: if your wedding is in October of any year, and it's outside their tiny 20-minute delivery radius, you are not welcome, and they could care less. It's clear they'd rather hoard their inventory for bigger jobs during busy season than actually help couples on their big day. They don't care about your wedding, your time, or your trust. These guys are great in my book!…read more On a rainy Saturday I needed a pump for my Mom's basement that had flooded. The one the plumber had placed was working at a snail's pace with a garden hose attached. Gaston Rentals had at least three different pumps to chose from - one small one (similar to the plumber's), a heavy duty midsize with a 2' hose and a beastly 3" waste pump (gas powered). I chose the midsize, an industrial cord and 100 feet of hose. With tax it was all a little under $80. A disaster relief company would have likely charged 6-8 times that, so the DIY saved us some $$$. The guys were very helpful and even loaded everything in my car. I was able to keep the pump until Monday AM without any additional charges. The only bad news was after about 2.5 hours I went to move the pump (not rocket science, "plug and play" and completely submersible) to a lower point and when I plugged it back in, it wouldn't restart. Luckily most of the water had been pumped out by that time and if it was a weekday I'm sure they would have exchanged it. One of the hoses had a small leak too but it did not affect water removal at all. One star docked for equipment failure otherwise great concept and service. If you need any heavy or light duty equipment rentals check these guys out.

I told them I wouldn't be finished with it so they charged me an extra $50 to keep the tent overnight. There was a terrible rainstorm and the support for the roof of the tent broke. The tent started to leak. I immediately took pictures and sent them to Maya and she never responded. We moved all the people and the tables into my garage and shortly there after the tent collapsed. I spoke with Maya the next morning when she came to pick up the tent and she told me she didn't see my response until 9:30 PM. I had sent it probably around six. She told me she had never tested the tent in a rain storm and she didn't know it wouldn't hold up. I told her I was unsatisfied and very upset the tent collapsed and could have injured my guests. She finally agreed to give me back $75 which was half the cost of the actual tent rental. The price I paid her included delivery, set up, the overnight fee, as well as the cost of the tent (over $500) In my opinion, the tent was never set up properly, because if the roof was pitched properly, the support should not have bent and the rain should've just rolled off the top of the tent. Maya took no responsibility for the fact that the tent failed, was not set up properly and my guests could have been hurt. She just provided one excuse after another.
