Chairs came dirty and some were broken, and the delivery was short by 3 chairs. Tables rusty, some tables had tape on the legs as if left from previous events.. tables were also splintering, one was missing a screw. Linens were all different shades despite being told they would be off-white (maybe it was wrong of us to assume they'd be the SAME off white?) and some linens were dirty with handprints all over them. Not the kind of service we'd hoped for when planning a party at hone. ALSO was given a pickup window.. still waiting for their arrival, now the time is after they said they would be here to pick up. read more

Missy was a pleasure to work with for our small wedding (50 people). She made sure we had everything we needed, was easy to get in touch with, and replied promptly. Found this business on FB market! They were selling fold up chairs! Upon arriving we entered the business and wasn't greeted! A woman and a man was sitting behind the counter! After I said hello that's when she responded and said hi...(nothing from the man)! Anyways.... I told her the reason we were there and she use a walkie to tell the person in the back to bring the chairs! My hubby asks if we were able to see them first?! Her response was go out in the drive way and he's going to bring them! We understand that they are going to be filthy! We didn't mind that at all, because we planned on using chair covers! While inspecting the chairs she came out shouting at us...."YOU WANT THEM? YES OR NO?!?!?" We ignored her and continued inspecting the chairs! The man helping us shook his head and apologized! The first few chairs they showed us was broken, so we had them going through the lot to pick the best ones! The woman once more shouts at us... "YOU WANT THEM? YES OR NO?!?!" It shouldn't take you an hr to look at them it's not like you're buying 100!! Lmao(this is too funny but not funny!!!) So my hubby being the humble man he is replied... "I guess not." When my daughter was contemplating an outdoor wedding in Dutchess County, we had the pleasure of meeting Joanne. She was extremely knowledgable and put together multiple packages for us to consider take in account many contingencies. While we ended up picking an indoor venue in NYC, our only regret was not being able to utilize the expertise Joanne offered us and the pleasure of having her on our wedding team. I would not recommend Party Time Rentals to anyone. We used them for our wedding and it added a lot of stress to an already stressful weekend. They were disorganized and unhelpful. I have never written a bad review in my life, but I'm writing this in hopes of saving future brides or party throwers from the stress I went through. The week of my wedding they called me to ask where to put the tent up, even though we had done multiple walk throughs of the venue (and they've worked with this venue in the past). They were so confused that they asked that I travel an hour and a half north to show them where to put the tent. They also ran their trucks over the big grass field where my wedding took place, making the entire thing very muddy and hard for our guests to walk through. They very easily could've driven on the side of the field rather than in the middle of it, and that would have been fine. When I asked multiple times (on my wedding day as I was getting ready) that they fix the issue, they said they could bring big black ugly mats to cover the muddy parts. Left with no other option I said yes. My day of coordinator later informed me that they never brought the mats until she called them several times right before the ceremony. They then charged me for the mats that they had brought late and that were fixing a problem they had created. When they pieced the dance floor together they left clumps of tall grass sticking out throughout the entire floor. The day before my wedding, I was on my hands and knees with my family cutting the clumps of grass with scissors so that it looked semi-presentable and didn't pose a risk to guests dancing who could easily trip. My day of coordinator and my caterer were both appalled by the issues Party Time Rentals created throughout my wedding day and actually encouraged me to ask for money back because they had never seen a company do such a poor set up. It is such a pleasure to deal with a family business that has everything I need. I don't like to shop on route 9 unless I have to. Their party store has everything!! So that saves me time. I love Partytime Rentals. I have used them two years in a row to rent bouncy castle. The management and the staff are super professional and attentive. This year the rain jeopardized the party. The management was great and worked with us to accommodate our rain date. Bouncy Castle Condition: The bouncy castle was cleaned on site again after they unpacked. The attendant worked with the children to make sure they were safe and had a fun time. I highly recommend this place and plan to use them in the future. read more

OWNER IS A TYRANT AND LAIR I am not one to write reviews as you will see from my profile, but I felt obligated to warn other local New Yorkers of my horrific experience with this business. You should know that they do not carry insurance and lied about it...Let me explain... I placed a rental with this company for my wedding that took place a few weeks ago. Naturally the location in which the rental supplies was going to be used needed proof of insurance from Party Time rentals for the supplies. The venue requested to be added as an additionally insured (in addition to me as an individual which I was already assured was the case.) This is standard procedure for rentals. Not only was Joanne, THE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS, not able to produce the necessary paperwork she panicked when she was found out and turned into one of the most vulgar, unprofessional maniacs I have ever dealt with. Screamed at me on the phone for 15 mins. I was no longer able to use the supplies at my venue due to the lack of insurance. As a business owner myself I simply would never utter the words or have the tone she did with me to any of my customers. There would be nothing that could happened that would justify me speaking to another human being the way she did. To top it off, I was wrapping up wedding planning, dealing with all of the craziness that we all know goes along with that, and Joanne's managment of the situation and lies about her lack of insurance made my life so much more stressful at that time. The last thing I needed! After cancelling my order with her, I spoke to a few other very reputable rental companies locally only to find out that Party Time Rentals is known for this type of behavior and has run into many issues while working locally. I should have done my homework, but growing up in Lagrange, I wanted to give my business to a local shop rather than renting closer to our wedding venue. Such a shame because there aren't many options locally for rentals. Do yourself a favor and rent further away to assure you are dealing with a more reputable company! We are non profit that used them for chair rental. Their invoice was poorly written, they did not communicate about delivery and the sales representative was very rude in resolving the issues. They delivered the chairs one day early and said it was "their policy", yet never communicated this before delivery. I would not use them again. read more

Very, very reliable. I use them for corporate and personal events. Joanne the owner was the queen of the day! We scheduled an outdoor birthday party. On the day of the event, it poured cats and dogs. Within hours she converted our party to an arcade in our garage with an adjoining waterproof tent. All the kids had a great time. Even the adults had fun playing the games. I LOVED working with PartyTime Rentals. PartyTime Rentals did our lighting for our outdoor tented wedding. We needed decorative lighting inside the tent, as well as in the open air cocktail space. I worked directly with Darren, who I understand is the owner of the company, and he was a total lifesaver. I was caught in an unfortunately tight timeline due to another company flaking on me last minute, and Darren couldn't have been more pleasant, patient, and helpful. Our very first phone call was 15 days before the wedding and we were drawing up details all the way up until 4 days before the wedding. He carefully explained every single detail, cost, and option to me more than once. We worked through at least 3 different lighting patterns for the tent alone. He was there personally with another employee to set up 2 days before the wedding and suggested I stop by to see how things were shaping up. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I used this company to provide outdoor heaters and propane for my wedding. Only 2 heaters I PAID to rent worked. When I called to inform the company, I was told I would not be able to speak to a manager or owner concerning this matter. I was also told I should have checked the heaters myself. I explained it was the day of my wedding and I expected the equipment to work properly as I had paid to rent working equipment!!!!!! I later found out the person who told me the manager/owner would not speak to me was indeed the manager/owner. Very Disappointed. STAY AWAY! The office put the wrong date (year) on our contract so the inflatable water slide we rented for our 6 year old's birthday party was never put on their schedule. I called the day of the party to see where our slide was and that is when they found their error. They promised to get the slide here however, it got here at would have been the end of the kids party and it was full of grass and mud because it was at a party the night before. This ruined our entire day. The credit they gave was not even close to half off. We will never rent from them again!!! I suggest you don't either.STAY AWAY!
