I really don't want to tell anyone about this secret gem but I am also not a gate keeper....the BEST combination fried rice in town and the yum yum sauce is out of this world! You get a huge serving (I mean I can eat it for two days they give you so much). It's a bag for you buck. Hands down the best in the area. I promise they will not disappoint. Get it to go you don't really eat inside there (and yes it's attached to a gas station) don't knock it until you try it! Service is always so sweet and so fast! read more

As a long time resident of the arguably the "best pizza state" NJ, I had lived near Pa's for 10 years before I tried their Pizza in a gas station restaurant simply because it is a pizzeria on gas station property. Since I am an expert in NY, NJ pizza, Pa's makes the best Pizza I have tried in the Pinehurst area of SP, Aberdeen, 7 lakes. I have tried most of the high rated pizza in the area with some being just plain garbage but I will not name names. IMO absolutely the best sausage, peppers and onion pizza.Period If you have not tried Pa's you are missing out on great Pizza. read more

Very nice people here. Great food for the most part, but I tried the pizza tonight and it was not very good. The dough is soooo soggy. The is not made it's like a frozen dough. As I said most of the other stuff is very good, the pizza not so much. read more

West End/Seven Lakes doesn't really have too many restaurants to speak of. I've passed this one a couple of times, and honestly thought it was closed until I read the reviews here, I also sort of thought it was joke too...Japanese AND Pizza..what? So the pizza is better than this other pizza place near Food Lion...that place was horrible. The pizza here isn't spectacular...but it will do in a pinch. They use real mushrooms instead of canned which is always a plus in my book. The menus is weird, I did post pictures. While they advertise Japanese....the menu has Thai this and Thai that....I ordered the Thai fried rice...nothing really Thai about it...it was really just mushy fried rice...but lo and behold, whatever delicious magical sauce they included with it saved the day. So I guess this will be my go to place on those days when my hour long commute home is just too much and I want to grab a pie or some mushy rice with heroin sauce. Bonus...the guy in the gas station convenience store next door is super nice..and seemed to know everyone that came in. read more

First, don't let the name or location (in a gas station) fool you. This place is a gem. They have literally any food for any taste. I got the fried shrimp plate today and my wife got the hibachi. We are kinda picky when it comes to hibachi but PA's is better than some more well known places around here. My shrimp was perfect. This is our go to spot for a quick bite. read more

This place is amazing. The name is a little bit of a misnomer; they have Japaneses food too. It's great food for a great price. Don't judge a book (or a restaurant) by its cover. Yes, Pa's is behind a gas station, but it doesn't taste like it. The greatest part is the variety of food. Where else can you get a hot sub and Japanese food at the same time?? In the blink of a town called West End Is this kind of dirty looking restaurant that is a gem. Thai, Chinese, Pizza, Subs, and burgers Oh My!!!. Doing a lot a hot work in 100 degree weather and this is on the way back to my hotel. I don't want to look for a different restaurant every day and this place is perfect. Been eating here for weeks and it all good. 10 dollar Hibachi steak that's good. 4.95 for 8 in subs lets go. I will be done soon and go home and will miss this spot. read more

My family and I just moved to Jackson Springs and Pa's is the first place we found. Everyone is great there and the have a nice variety on the menu. I'll call in an order on my way home from work and pick it up on the way home. Food is always good regardless of what you order. read more

The one and only: Pa's Pizza & Hot Subs & Japanese & Gas & Snacks & On & On & On. Located in West End, which if you know what or where West End is, then that's about all you need to know. It's out in the middle of basically nowhere. The little town is gone. The furniture factory is gone. The local economy is gone. But Pa's Pizza & Hot Subs remains. And they gots Japanese steak and seafood too. It's true. The sign is not outdated. It's not incorrect. It's totally and reliably accurate. Go behind the gas station, and there's a little sliver of a restaurant where some Asian people (who may or may not be Japanese) serve up home-style pizzas and subs and Japanese. Nothing is great. Nothing is terrible. Go there. Give it a try. Give 'em some business. Hey, if nothing else, they provide a little bit of variety where there is none. read more

Definitely don't judge a book by it's cover. You can get nearly anything here! They have Japanese, Burgers, Sandwiches, Subs, Pizza, Wings, and even some other random items like cowzone and Bacon chili cheese fries! The food is great! They have I believe 7 or 8 4-chair tables to sit at inside or you can get it to go. No it's not a fancy looking place but they've got some great food and many choices at decent prices. read more

I love this place. They have a large menu and the food is cheap!!! The staff is all family and really nice.

My roommate and I are both disabled and have service mobility dogs. We have eaten here a few times before without a problem. There is even a sign on their door stating Service Animals welcome. Well we went there April 12th and they would not serve us because their son is allergic to dogs. I am sorry but, you have a sign on your door saying we could bring our Service Animals in. Yes this place is cheap for certain menu items, but that's because you're getting your money's worth. I orderd a burger twice and both times the bread was stale, the meat was chewy, and the lettuce was old. They should have stayed with Japanese. The subs are way over priced for a nasty slab of meat and practically nothing else. Go to Seven Lakes Pizza where you can get a real sub on real bread, baked fresh everyday, and real meat, with loaded toppings for no more than $8 for the large (which is enough for two or three people) Don't waste your time at Pa's. read more
