Our first visit was in 2020, about 2 weeks after Pinehurst opened up after Covid shutdown. Since our 2020 visit we made this place a "must visit" ever since. The folks here are amazing, family owned and operated and they never miss an opportunity to make you feel welcome. The pizza is even better than the people! Our 2024 visit was epic, amazing pizza and conversations. Me & Andy even managed to win $20 off Dan & Scotty playing corn hole out on the patio, while we waited on our pizzas! Salads were tasty and they have an awesome beer selection! Staff is top notch!! read more

The taste and quality is above the norm. They pack toppings on like there is no tomorrow. Every slice I picked up to devour was hefty and loaded with fresh ingredients. Amazing!! The pizza is a tad bit greasy but the food is still delicious. The staff is mainly high schoolers but they are all very nice. Attentive staff and lots of games for kids. Bring a few dollars and kids will have fun for hours playing claw games or air hockey to name a few. Great pizza run by locals! So many times in the area to play golf, but first time checking it out. Will definitely make it a point to add to my list of must-haves for the Sandhills area. The pizza is probably the best I've ever had, the service is exceptional--efficient but friendly--and the prices are reasonable. They have a good selection of arcade games. This place is a great place to go to if you love pizza. Pinehurst Pizza is a great way to hang out with your friends and family just so you know hang out and have fun. I would give this five stars but sometimes the service can be kind of slow after you order and maybe 30 minutes till you get your food but that may just be because it's very busy cuz it's a really nice place. read more

I hate to give this place 4 stars after seeing all the 5's, but I just didn't think the food was that amazing. To be blunt, the pizza was mediocre. I was almost shocked to read some of the other reviews suggesting that this was the best pizza in the state. To each her own, but I've had many pizzas (even when not including NY pizzas) that I thought were a lot better. That being said, there were a couple of things that bumped PP up from its 3-star taste: (1) You can get colossal pizzas here. (2) They have TVs in the booths and stuff to do around the restaurant: playing pool while waiting for my pizza was a definite bonus. (3) The service was great. I think our waitress was the owner. Regarding credit cards, there was a minimum, and if I remember correctly, it was pretty high--something like $30. read more

We ordered a large 18" pepperoni and sausage pizza to go. I did not realize how large an 18" pizza was until I picked it up and had the pizza box on my lap! And it was only like $20 which is pretty incredible in itself. It was about a fifteen minute drive from my house in Southern Pines but it was totally worth it! I am a New Yorker at heart and was born and raised eating NY pizza so I am usually pretty reluctant but Pinehurst Pizza definitely did not disappoint. The crust was crispy and the pizza overall delicious. Next time, I think I will try one of their specialty pizzas and perhaps dine in. I didn't go inside so I didn't get to take a look but from what my beau says, it has a really great atmosphere and different fun activities to keep you occupied. read more

Amazing place for families! We arrived with a group of about 15 adults and kids from our Air Force squadron. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, and the food was terrific. We had a massive assortment of pizza and wings, which were prepared quickly and tasted great. Our kids had a wonderful time playing the video games in the arcade. The staff even gave them some complimentary prizes as we were leaving. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality and food, and support to our Armed Forces. We'll be back for sure! read more

Best pizza in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area. Crust is crispy and not too thick and not too thin. Great place for couples and families too. Always enjoy seeing Lynn, Doug and their great staff of students. Plus, they're open again for dine-in eating as of June 26th! We were so happy to be back with them rather than take out. read more
