We love this restaurant. They are open for lunch and dinner. My husband always gets the chicken Parmesan and I generally get the cheese ravioli. The garlic rolls are wonderful and soft. The salad is good. We would recommend this restaurant to anybody. They also have a very good pistachio gelato. That we enjoy for dessert. We know you will enjoy this restaurant. Apparently the fish dish is good, but the minestrone soup and the mamma mia salad I got were far below average. All the vegetables in the soup were rubbery and were literally tough to bite into- after I fished out the pasta, I set it aside. The house rolls were like hot stones - scalding hot to touch and literally rock hard. The salad was fresh but not much to it for the price. My biggest qualm is that they charge $11 per glass for a bottle of wine that's $10 at Walmart. Total scam. Will not be returning - not with the $67 bill after tip for 2 people. read more

Cute little Italian spot in west end! True Italian food. I'm quite picky and find it hard to locate a place that can make a good grilled chicken alfredo. This spot has THE BEST alfredo sauce. I love it. We eat here often! read more

First and foremost this is a new restaurant is Seven Lakes. We do not have many restaurants located here so it was exciting to try a new place. We went and tried this restaurant. It has good pizza but it was not the best I have ever had. The wait was extremely long and the waiter seemed to not know what was going on. I understand there are bumps in the road with a new restaurant but they really need to work on the wait time and accuracy of orders. I will be back to try out the other items on the menu. read more

Okay, I forgot to let everyone know that the guy in the kitchen was the Chef at Vito's in Southern Pines for years and he knows his stuff. It turns out that our daughter worked with him for several years at Vito's and really adored him. Almost as much as she loved Vito! He used to make her a special pizza for dinner every night with a single white anchovy, (not the salty brown junk you find in pizza palaces), on each slice. She told me recently that he is a pizza master. So I guess I'm going back for pizza and to deliver Sal a hug from Cate. read more

Tried for the first time since moving to Seven Lakes. Food was good. Marinara sauce spicy but enjoyable. Lacking in atmosphere, very loud in bar area dining room. They charge you an extra 4% for using credit/debit cards. This policy not posted anywhere. Kinda pricey for pasta and sauce. read more

We have been here many times since it opened. The food has always been excellent. I have sampled most of the menu and found everything to be very tasty. The service is very good as well. My one critical observation is that there is a lack of ambiance and intimacy. Some soft background music and some sound deadening would really do wonders in this area. read more

My wife and I just finished having dinner at Mamma Mia's in Seven Lakes. I had the chicken parm and my wife had the manicotti. Both were excellent. The sauce is delicious (had a very nice flavor and was not watery) and the garlic knots are kinda the dressing on the cake. The service was excellent. If you don't mind taking a small drive out in the country, it's well worth the drive. We're going back next time to put them to the pizza test. read more
