I had two implants installed yesterday and they're both (side by side) perfect!! Carmen aka Connie, did a fantastic job. Amazing a lot of fun. I explained to Dr. Morris that im usually difficult to numb. He explained everyone's anatomy is different and he has multiple techniques to make the experience as painless as possible. When I was numb the extraction was done in seconds. When he said was done I looked at him quisically, like it was more difficult to numb than the actual procedure. Can't forget the rest of team, we all joke, chit chat about our dogs and family. First practice in a while that is patient first, making the dental experience wonderful and something to look forward to seeing on the calendar. read more

I've been a patient of this location for 19 years, and was recommended to me by a co worker, but when it came time to stop neglecting my teeth, I'm glad I came here, their Doctors have always been great, kind, and professional, but a highlight of most of my visits, especially my last one about three weeks ago, was my technician Carmen! She's always kind, and since I get nervous in a dental chair, she remembers this, and always at least tells me what's going to do before she does it, so I'm prepared, and less nervous, she knows my time is valuable and it's feels like it always her second priority, her first though is my comfort and safety, which I really appreciate, she's knowledgeable, and sincere in her observations, and feedback! Came here for my cleaning and x-ray and everyone was so nice and helpful! The hygienist, front desk girls, and dentists were all just so welcoming and nice. They do good work and have good quality. I bought a Groupon for a basic cleaning. The appointment was for 1pm and they began the cleaning at 4pm. During the 3 hours that I waited, various examinations were made. I said over and over that I just wanted the cleaning. I was brought into the examination room and out to the lobby twice. Here are extra services. No. Here are more extra services. No. Sign this if you don't want extra services. By the way, you really should pay for more services. 3 hours later I felt a massive inner fury as I was told that the basic clean was just a 'polish' and it took exactly 7 minutes. I was in my car at 4:08. Do not go to this place unless you're okay with waiting and not getting the service that you expected. I wish I just spent more money on a different Groupon. I read a bunch of the negative reviews and I couldn't agree more. The part that makes me the most upset is that while wasting my time they act sugary sweet like they are on your side. It somehow makes it worse. Also, if you read the positive reviews, a lot of them begin the same: I've been going here for X number of years... Also: I am so afraid of the dentist but... Maybe it's just a coincidence and that's how people write, but I am suspect after my own experience and especially reading that so many people had similarly messed up appointments that pissed them off. read more

If you like getting scammed -- make sure to book an appointment here! This office makes money offering "free dental assessments" via referral programs ...disguised as "grant" programs. (The grant program offers to cover some of your costs and refers you to them. Then, the dental office charges you triple -- knowing grant program will cover some of your costs and you think you're getting a discount.) In order to book your "FREE" assessment with office -- they charge $50 for "last minute cancellations." Hmm. Sure no problem ... I give them my card info. They charge me IMMEDIATELY which I thought was odd. A few hours later I read about the scam and cancel my appointment promptly -- which was more than 48 hours in advance. The staff gives me the runaround for 3 hours saying they will call me right back / need to speak to their supervisor about refunding me. They never call me back. When I call them later, they hang up on me 2 times . Finally, SUSAN (the manager) picks up and says that because I was referred through a program - they do not refund appointments even if canceled days in advance. I inform her I was told there's only a 24hr cancellation policy. She doesn't care. I then inform her I already spoke to the program and they expect the office to refund me - and she can reach out to them to confirm. She doesn't call them. I inform the program of this - and the program supervisor calls Susan to request they refund me because this went against their rules. The program apologizes to me on their behalf, and says I should be receiving a refund in a few days. A week goes by -- no refund. I call the dental office and they claim they forgot to do it. They offer to write me a refund check. I decline because I already knows this check is going to bounce. Lol I then hear them grab a pen and paper while asking for my card info (again) -- to "issue refund" they obviously continue refusing to do. I'm fed up and hang up. I have contacted my bank and submitted evidence for a chargeback. This place is an absolute scam. Stay away and do not trust your teeth with petty criminals. read more

This is a post 2 years later to express my extreme concerns for any patient who comes to this office. I will be honest and say my dental anxiety is high and I am not the easiest patient, however, as someone who needed dental work, I entrusted them with my care and assumed they would not only do a good job and take care of my teeth, but they would also be patient in the process. They offered sedation dentistry, which I thought would work good for me and that's why I went ahead and decided on Walnut Hill. I should've known from the start that they were not gonna do a good job. Not only did they try to charge me an optional $300 cost the first visit without giving a reason why, but during my first visit with the dentist, he told me I should get porcelain veneers. He said my front teeth did not look good... On top of that, they did two crowns on two of my molars on the left side of my mouth. While the doctor was working, I could tell he became frustrated that I was getting anxious and feeling the pain. He quickly got the job done, and to no surprise, after my numbing went down I could not close my mouth properly. The temporary crowns were not good , I went back again and they fixed them temporarily. I went back a couple weeks later and they put the two permanent crowns on. I decided to go to another doctors office, naturally, because I didn't feel like they did a good job and I wanted a second opinion. Right when I got there the new dentist told me that my crowns were both done incorrectly. They weren't completely closed. I then had to go back to the Walnut Hill office for them to redo the mistake they made. They allowed a different doctor to do the crown and he did an OK job. However, I sit here two years later from my procedure, and I just had to have a root canal because my bottom crown was not closed properly and led to an infection. I had 2 additional dentists give their opinion and they agreed that the job was horrible. Walnut Hill has horrible bedside manner and their front desk does not help either. They charged me $430 every time I needed sedation.. The doctor I went to today charged me zero dollars. I can't believe I wasted so much time and entrusted walnut Hill Dental. I hardly leave reviews but felt this was important as this business does not deserve New customers and does not provide sound dental care. Overall, I had two crowns done by this dentist and both had to be redone. One required a new crown and the other one required a root canal. Definitely don't think anybody should be going here. read more

The hygienist and doctor were very nice. But, the scheduling department needs improvement. My first time at the clinic, I was scheduled for a certain time (i had to call out of work for) and when i got there, they made me wait 1.5 hours and all they did was some xrays when i booked a cleaning. They said the doctor was held up with another client. So I called out of work for nothing. I had to come back for the treatment. The staff is also a bit absent-minded. They overcharged me during one of my sessions, so there was a refund on my account. It's been over a month, almost two months now. I have been chasing after them and calling 5 times now asking about it. They always say the manager will get back to me, but she never does. No one does any follow-ups here. I have to keep calling in. Today, I called in, and the lady over the phone just said we are busy here and had other clients they had to deal with. I understand this. However, I am also a client here. Taking my money is so easy. But getting a refund seems to be impossible with them. read more

Be aware they might make you do unnecessary procedures!! My gum hurt and my dentist moved to a much further location so I decided to give this dental office a try. After x-ray and examining my gum and teeth, the dentist told me that I had infection inside a tooth and I needed root canal and deep cleaning. With the root canal, cleaning and dental crown, the estimated total is over $2k. That's a lot and I wanted to seek a second opinion, so I drove to my old dentist who is a family friend. She looked at the x-ray and checked my teeth and gum. She said she looked really hard but there's nothing wrong with my tooth and she just saw a canker sore at the gum where I said the pain was coming from. A canker sore!! Can you believe that I almost go through a root canal to destroy my tooth? That was totally unethical. I know there might be more than one dentists at Walnut Hills Dental but I don't remember the dentist's name. The service wasn't great either. I had a horrible experience with these scammers . They do advertise on instagram with lower monthly payment to attract customers, when you go there and they decided to avoid this subject. The next day I try to ask for my panoramic dental x-ray, the front desk lady named Christina try to use many excuses to refuse to give me my records, 1:she didn't keep it! 2: they can't give the records to patients! 3: she has to charge me 50 dollars! 4: she said she doesn't know how to send it to me though their system, only the technician can do it, and this technician works at home only ! What a crazy talk! I called in the office around 5 pm to ask again , the other lady who is the manager name Susan, she said she will email it to me after she finished with the customer in front of her, ok.... I was waiting... and keep calling until 6pm until their office was closed. No one answer me and no one calls me back the next day. I called again the next day for my X-ray record, Christina and Susan said they can't do it! Have to send it until next Tuesday by the technician only! What type of business is that? A week later, I called them again, and she said she already sent it to me , when I checked my email, I do receive one picture from them. Only one picture. This review is a couple years late, but I wanted to echo the sentiments of the other one star reviews for visibility. I came in, thinking I was going to do a routine cleaning because I got a coupon in the mail for a low price. When I got in the chair, they said I need thousands of dollars work. I told them that I wanted the cleaning. They said that I needed to get the other work. I couldn't afford it, and they expressed that it was necessary in order to do the cleaning. they made the work sound very urgent. I agreed to getting it done. Meanwhile the assistants are there in on it, convincing me how it's so important to invest in this etc. While they were doing the work on me - they also suggested another treatment that was going to cost upward of $1000 that I could get done that day. I was firm on not doing it . The dentist also let me know that I could benefit from getting VENEERS and I wanted to get it through him or their practice they were having a sale that month or something - and they called me twice asking me if I wanted veneers afterward. When I was done with my procedures, they printed out an invoice on how much would cost. I didn't feel that this was ethical. (Noting, they were aware that I did not have dental insurance ) read more

When I say this was the easiest painless procedure I've ever experienced, I truly mean it. From Monica and all the PATIENT ladies at front desk dealing with all my questions and payments to Connie who always laughs at my terrible jokes to Dr. Morris who talked me through everything and made me feel SO comfortable. I got a molar implant after getting a bone graft elsewhere. Needless to say, the whole thing from start to finish was seem less. There's a sense of honesty and relaxation you don't find at other dental offices. I've had extensive work done in the last 2 years ever since my insurance provided for by my company has been updated to have no cap (pun intended). All the work has been great - crowns, implants, extractions, cleaning, etc. A few of the crowns didn't go as planned which had to be replaced - free of charge - all the work is guaranteed. I am seriously terrified of dentist. I have had childhood trauma due to some horrible dentist experience. Let me tell you when I say this Dentist office made me feel so comfortable and secure. The girls in the front office Monica and Christina were very professional, pleasant and helpful. They made sure I had exactly what I needed and that the waiting time was manageable. The office was very clean and they offer you free coffee. Connie and Carmen were my dental assistance they are very friendly and funny, they made me feel like a friend and not a client. Returning now, most of the team was different; The first dentist that assisted me was great but once i was moved to see the head dentist things turned sour. After waiting for a long extended period of time; He Never introduced himself, was not attentive to any of my needs , seemed uninterested, and as my cleaning procedure went well, i was really confused after i told him that i was not able to do the other procedures he recommended that day, (as my tongue had an open wound due to my retainer scabbing me) Dr. Michael leaves the room for his assistant to come in and tell me that he cannot help me for what i specifically came in there for until the end of this month... no empathy, no other options or recommendations, they didn't care whatsoever.
