First time I had them install a push button lock for one of my buildings. Service and advice was great. I have been using the same locksmith for years but he finally retired. I had an old Schlage front door lock that I recently had refinished and I couldn't get it back on. I was a bit worried because it is an older lock and can be tricky but Steve was able to get it back on the door and functioning better than before. As festival season dawns upon some of us like myself... I was preparing for take off this week and had been packing up my car with camping gear and other items. I wanted to put more stuff in my car -- grabbed my yoga mat, tent, sticks, blanket and car key my hands were pretty full. As I swung my metal screen door open and used my foot to push it back closed, it wasn't until the door had slammed shut where I realized that I didn't have my apartment keys (haha). Realizing that I had just locked myself out with only my car key, no wallet, no phone... no bobby pins or any other device I could have even tried to use myself I had to think of how I would get someone to help me. Luckily, I live next door to a CVS where I asked the employees to use their phone. One guy allowed me to use his cell phone where I googled locksmiths in Pasadena and then went to Yelp where I decided to call Pasadena Lock Shop as it was the first business that had appeared in the search with excellent reviews from fellow Yelpers.
