I don't know what my tax dollars pay for! My neighbors had a huge party called 911 3 times and nobody ever showed! Beer bottles being thrown over the balcony into the street!!! Party went till 3 am! Not one cop showed! Adults/23 year olds hoeing at my dogs when i walked them! My neighbor even called 911 So 4 total calls and nobody showed My friend and i couldn't sleep drove by the police station and tons of cars were there So guess the police would rather do nothing then make the community feel safe

Police at the front of the hotel maintaining and enforcing public safety. Thank you!

My family was staying at the Hilton in Pasadena this past Saturday when the people in the room next to us started partying late into the early morning. Once the hotel advised them to stop partying, a little while later, we could here physical fighting that spilled into the hallway and then banging up against our door. Very scary stuff for a family at 3am trying to sleep. I called the Pasadena police and they arrived within minutes to resolve the situation. From the dispatcher I spoke with to the successful resolution of our serious safety concerns, we were grateful. Thank you so much for helping to keep society safe. We support you!

I was frantic and worried about Ruining my new car smell, and explaining to My Girlfriend what that odor was coming from the car! so I walked to the gate to look for an officer, and she was there, So I called through the gate and explained my situation! She was kind enough to return with a paperclip, a few paper towels, and a couple of cleaning wipes. This remedied the situation. I understand.... This might not be a huge emergency, perhaps the smallest act of public safety and protection she accomplished today, but if you could put yourself in my shoes ( No pun Intended) , Perhaps you could understand how huge it was to me. And her continued rant on the topic. which aired no concrete grievances, but seemed like her own issues about not having as much money in La Canada, which isn't La Crescenta? Bizarre. I am unhoused and people from this station have been nothing but over-thoughtful to me. Officer/Deputy Fort is a prime example. I didn't ask the name of the deputy, but in 2023, after someone stomped out my windshield on drugs, a deputy/sheriff from this station, who'd received a complaint I'd parked too long in one spot -- watch out for Gladys Kravitz citizens -- not deputies, who need a hobby other than harassing the unhoused, stat! -- was very kind and when he saw my smashed windshield, told me which nearby town had the best deals to replace it at low-cost. He was on the money! Just had to tell my experience because it's, frankly, unfair to make vague claims like Cynthia G. did about them caring only about rich La Canada residents [what on Earth is she even ranting about?] when I'm literally unhoused and they often go out of their way to show me kindness, shares resources, show grace. Unlike Cynthia G.'s unspecified, unclear rant which I will be screenshotting to save for every time I need a good belly laugh!

My lawyer asked me to pick up the police report once ready as the entire case rests on whether there were cameras around that could pick up any info. I visited the station 3 times & waited around a lot to be told they couldn't find the report, keep calling, and that they've been very busy dealing with the LA fires (which I do understand). I was finally able to reach the traffic department for the first time last week and the report still wasn't ready. Kept calling everyday to reach voicemail until this morning. Finally picked up my report tonight. Not a lot of useful info, no pictures from what I provided, and some info weren't accurate such as my phone number or what I recalled. I place little value on those that limit their vocabulary and scope to name calling and racial slurs. I have been dealing with a parking issue which they have been more than willing to help and work with me on. They have been professional and courteous. Most have been friendly. A couple have been somewhat curt in their interaction - like they had something more important to be doing - but generally I am pleased.

The police officers were so respectful, kind and actually cared about their residents. I so miss officer Wise. He tired long ago. Even the parking enforcement people were nice. Today , most of the officers and parking cadets are so arrogant and treat residents like criminals. The parking enforcement cadets are eager to cite you over anything. if you stop for a second to let someone out of your car on the red curb, because there was no other option. Even when your car is on. I never saw the cadet and never knew I had " broken " the law. I was shocked to receive the ticket by mail. The cadet didn't speak to me , I never even saw him; going by the pics , I can see that he followed me. Never put the light on me or honk his horn. I. guess the parking enforcement cadets NOW can cite you for a moving violation. I requested to speak with the watch commander on duty. I stood for 45 minutes waiting for the officer. I am a senior , disabled person. The officer finally showed up and had a very defensive attitude. He showed no courtesy at all. I unfortunately did not write his name down. He didn't have any interest in listening anything I had to say . It makes me think the cadets have a quota of citations to meet daily. While I was waiting at the police station for the watch commander, a woman came in with a similar complain: she got a parking ticket on the mail, but the cadet didn't leave a copy on the windshield. So drivers are now being spied on by the parking cadets from far away , no hard copy on your windshield because you are way to far from them . All they have to do is write your plate number and you'll get a surprise notice on the mail. This is corruption at its highest. It reminds me of the motorcycle police officer , also in South Pasadena, who hides behind bushes or on private driveways by the high school and on Orange Grove, ready to stop and cite people. Before , this motorcycle officer was the only sneaky character. Now the parking cadets are here to get you too and they are supported by the police. So shameful!!

YES graveyard shifts! Somebody has to be awake in the middle of the night when you're knocked out from the day's activities. I do think its a thankless job. As a police officer you have to lay down the law. You have to keep people in line, and that often times rub people the wrong way because people think they're joy-kill.
