Love so many aspects of this park-- the luscious and expansive green grassy fields, the well kept play grounds and of course the cleanliness. Love that they have covered parking for guests! Why isn't that the standard and not the exception? My biggest complaint is with the POOL. $40 a person for season passes for 5 people and I'm a bit disappointed. First of all they have a serious bird issue. It has been really gross stepping in poop and having birds digging through my snack bag while I'm swimming. Poop on my towels, poop on the chairs, it's every where. You would think a community pool in summerlin of all places would be able to fix this bird issue. Second of all: why no discounts for guests of season pass holders? And only one guest per pass holder? Really? It's more expensive than every other Rec pool and it's not even anything special. Third of all: these life guards arent necessarily mean and o know they're just "doing their job" but damn they are tyrants. These poor kids are trying to get to the slide and the ground is so hot they have to speed walk. Even 5 seconds is too much for me and I am hopping to shade as quick as I can. Running is obviously dangerous! Speed walking is not. I constantly feel like someone is going to get into trouble for something! Last thing and this might be my most controversial take but are 5 lifeguards really necessary if they don't do anything? I have not once ever seen one actually do anything except whistle at kids for "running". Do they really need to take a break every single hour? It drives me insane. Yes there are other pools like the vistas and trails I can go to but those don't have slides Ok rant over. read more

Note: Very clean all around. Absolutely love this beautiful green and peaceful park in South Summerlin. Safe and great neighborhood next to elementary school and beautiful single family homes. Very walkable trails to Town Center Drive, great place for family to gather around, bike around, walk the dogs, jog the stairs, play softball, basketball, swim, etc. South Summerlin sure is beautiful. Residents in the area are very lucky to have this piece of land to walk on. It's a landscape beauty for sure. Willow trees? I just want to say that those trees were very well kept and good in appearance. For a moment, it felt like I was looking at a scene from a Japanese cartoon anime or something. Sharing beautiful views. Happy green colors everywhere. Las Vegas is a hot dry desert mainly with rocks, dirt, and naked mountains. This is a great addition. Very relaxing with great imaginations running through my peace of mind. Lots of places to sit and trees are just absolutely natural & beautiful. If you need to find a shady spot under indirect sunlight, there are no problems here. Public parking lot was very spacious. People were taking their kids to the community center probably for swimming sessions during summertime. Definitely bring water bottles, a large hat, good shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion, etc. I really love it here. Walk all you want and get those daily stretches. What I like at a park is all here- a nice pool, walking path and shade! It also has some hills to vary the walking, and stairs to incorporate into a workout as needed. The park has ballfields and a playground as well. Part of the park is within a detention basin, so there are signs warning to that effect. The community center is currently closed. The pool has been open this summer to residents only, and reservations are required. I've been going to the pool a few times weekly, and it's quite nice! There are 2 water features- a splash pad in the shallow end, and a gushing waterfall in the deeper area. There's also an all ages slide and a small kiddie slide. There are palm trees around the pool and the chairs are on the grassy areas. I think the pool is the nicest of the 3 Summerlin community pools. read more

Waw so beautiful. And far stretched out! You can do a decent walk with your dog here. Everything very well maintained. Loving the water fountain that actually works for dogs to use! Nice sports fields. Clean playground. The path is fun for everyone including bikers. The pool and some courts are closed this moment in June 2020 due to covid19. read more

It's an enjoyable walk with a good amount of shade along the path. I tend to come here at night with my dog and play fetch as I walk. Since the main stretch is like a big grass bowl my dog gets PLENTY of exercise running up and down the hills. The grass is well maintained and people seem to keep it clean, not much chance of stepping in poop. I'm pretty sure that if you walk the full path it should be 1 mile. I've been doing 2 short laps around the open grass along with 1 full lap that pretty much ends at the tunnel, which ends up being 2 miles. Willows Park and Community Center - My babies love it here - Parks Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

I have been coming to this park for the 10 years I've lived near it. I used to walk to the park but now it's part of my regular bike trip on Sunday mornings. The park is divided into two sections--the walkway section with a children's play area and the ball fields area. The Summerlin website lists the walkway park as 4.6 acres of play area and walking trails and the ball field section as a 12.7 acre park. Both sections have sidewalks. It makes it convenient to be able to go under Town Center Drive to get to/from the park. The traffic is heavy at times, and this makes a nice shortcut. For walking or biking, the sidewalks go around the large bowl of the ball fields both at the bottom level or along the top rim. There's a set of stairs and a ramp to get to the top rim near the Willows Community Center and pool on the north side of the ball field area. This place is often busy with walkers getting their exercise, people walking their dogs, and parents watching their kids play. It's a wonderful place with lots of room. read more

Don't sleep on this place! It's a hidden gem, literally, because its a lesser known park. Never too crowded, unless there is a football/baseball practice. Favorite feature - Luuuuuush green grass. Not kidding. The grass is greener here. Someone please give the landscaper 10 stars! I love this place for walking by myself or with my wife & daughter. This park is wonderful. It has an absolutely goregous paved trail leading to a lovely playground. That has sand and soft material in and around it. Monkey bars, rope bridge, a couple slides and all around fun. The beautiful landscape allows for excellent workout and or trills. The hills are effective, I definitely feel the burn. There are also stairs that ate a workout to. Try lateral steps vs traditional. TRX straps can easily go around any of these treees. Not to mention the sunsets here are stunning. Definitely recommend for a nice walk, outdoor training, picnic, and or fun woth the kids. read more

A great park for little league baseball practice. The park has two great baseball diamonds that are perfectly light at night. Great seating for parents as well. The park also features a large grass area where a football team typically practices in the evening. I have visited many times and have never had a problem with the quality of people who frequent the park. It is always clean and well kept. This park and I have a love hate relationship: it is rather lovely with plenty of grass, trees/shade and places to chill out. My gym runs regular boot camps here, so hills, stairs, even monkey bars and walls become objects of torture; but I secretly love that too. Except wall sits, I will never love those, but my quads do :) There's plenty to do for people and fur babies of all ages. I've not had the opportunity to check out the Community Center nor the pool, but if they are as well-maintained as the rest of the facilities, I'd expect them to be top notch. read more

We love coming to this park with our daughter! There are two kids playground areas, one right by the parking lot/basketball court, and another that is quite a bit larger on the opposite end of the park. You will often find us there on Saturday/Sunday mornings sitting on a blanket in the shade, or walking on the well-lit paths in the evenings :) There's a nice loop around the park that is great for biking/jogging/walking your dog. The pool is open daily from June-August, and on the weekends in May/Sept. It's filled with families...there is a nice shallow area for the little kids and a slide that even a 2 year old can go on by herself! read more

I come here to go to my HOA meetings. The facility is really nice. There is always a ton of parking. From what I have noticed this park has a ton of shade and looks beautiful. I see people walking their dogs here and the basketball court is always full and well lit. They also have a pool if you are a Summerlin resident and they do swimming lessons in the summer. But make sure to sign up early because those spots fill up fast. It looks like a very clean park and seems pretty safe. read more

This is a great park for the fitness enthusiast. With stairs, hills, basketball court, baseball field, jungle gym and a loop for walking or running it really is one of the best parks I've visited for this purpose. I believe if you are a Summerlin resident you also have pool privileges during pool season. I have been in the mornings and I often see people letting their dogs loose. I know it's probably against the rules but as a dog lover when this park is not crowded this is a great option as the park is so large and basin like in its design. read more

I only experienced the club house, so that is all I can review at this time - and I doubt I'll be back, not because it wasn't awesome, but because it is literally the other side of the world from me. And we have lots of great parks in Henderson as well. :) I was here for a baby shower. It was very easy to find, although Mapquest was a little off on how far off the 215 the street was (but what's new?). I was surprised that parking seemed a little weird. A lot of the spaces were "reserved," and I didn't want to risk it, even though they were empty and it was Saturday. The club house itself is nice. The room the shower was in was medium sized and large enough for about 7 tables to be placed long ways. The event was catered by an outside company (the food was amazing and really healthy), so I can't really add much about what Willows Park can provide on that front. The staff was friendly and the restrooms were clean. Not much else I could ask for! I could see the pool from the club house, and it had a large water slide, which seems pretty cool. There was also a basketball court outside, which was getting a lot of work at the time we were there. From other reviews, it sounds like a great park with a lot to offer. If I am ever in the area again, I will surely stop by and check it out! read more

I discovered this park on Yelp, and went there to exercise a couple of times last week. This is a large park with a lot to offer. Next to the parking area, there is a basketball court with three hoops (one on the side), and a small playground for children. There is also a community center building with restroom facilities and an enclosed swimming pool for members only. The b-ball court might be for members only, too (I'm not sure). Down the slope are dual baseball/softball fields that face each other. There are two concrete walkways around the perimeter of this field -- an outer and inner one. The outer (or upper) walkway winds around above the slope, while the inner (or lower) walkway winds around the field at the base of the slope. In my rough estimate, the perimeter of the upper walkway is probably about a third of a mile. There are some trees along the perimeter, many of which are still in their barren winter state now (in March), but whose foliage should provide some nice shade in the summer months. The upper slope also veers off at the far end. If you follow it, you'll pass another small playground for children, and then you'll pass between rows of fenced houses. Soon you'll come upon a large carved stone statue of a hare with its paw seemingly wiping away a tear from its eye. The hare is looking farther ahead at a warm circular concrete sitting area that has several metal benches where you can relax and enjoy the day. Also in this seating area is a large stone carving of a victorious-looking tortoise, head held high. A metal plaque in this seating area tells the fable of the tortoise of the hare. Beyond this point, the trail continues thru an underpass below Town Center Drive, but then runs into a closed gate. The gate-code that opens it is presumably reserved exclusively for the residents whose houses the walkway continues to run between. The only drawback for me is that Willows Park is situated right next door to an elementary school. When school gets out, the quiet residential street becomes clustered with cars parked by the roadside and lines of traffic at a crawl. Other than that, it's a great park. read more

This is the park I've been waiting for. Two ball fields, a play area, a clubhouse with a pool, another play area, a basketball court, a sitting area, a tunnel under Town center with a secret exit on the other side of the street. My daughter walks through the park to get to her school on the other side. It is nice, safe, and convenient. I wish there was better parking for the park than the street blocking a lane of traffic but other than that, no complaints. It is well maintained, the trash is always picked up and the grass is always green and trim. Love it. read more

Beautiful park. Great for walking as it is pretty big . It has a tunnel you can go through to cross the street which makes the park even larger. The whole walk itself can be a good 30 minute walk. It is also very green and clean. Has some big hills if you want to lay down or work out (run up and down the hill). Definitely recommend. Now this is a nice park. There is a great walking path that wraps around the giant field and goes down back into the neighborhood with a bridge and an exit onto the street by ramp or stairs. The park here has very green grass and there is a giant field. They have doggie bags for your little ones. The community center has a pool and i think the playground right next to it is closed off. There is another playground that was open but further in. They have these giant animal statues throughout the park that are cute for kids. What I like about this park is how green and beautiful it is. It is very well kept with little to no trash and a good amount of shade and trees. What I noticed about this park is that park goers are generally friendly and nice. Every person we passed while walking would smile or say hello. We have two very cute frenchies so they get some attention but at this park I noticed a lot more people smiling. I will definitely return. Also, there is a ton of parking and I think the community center is closed because of COVID. We were here on a Saturday afternoon and it was closed. read more

Park looks great, but told my children who attend the elementary school next door that they couldn't use the facility because we live just outside of an invisible line in Summerlin that isn't in their database. They took our money, then Captain save the pool decided to pluck all of us out refund us because he googled my address then proceeds to make a 6 year old, 4 year old and infant leave because of reasons they have no understanding of. Now my kids know not to look at the pool by their school because they aren't welcome because of this dumb rule. Thanks guys. Even a 6 year old knows unfair treatment when they see it. It's green! I love green parks. One of my best friends lives near here and I took full advantage of this park when I visit. It's great for walking the dogs and there's a trail that takes you out into the neighborhood where you run into some large statues of a turtle, a hare, and a lion. The field caters to baseball and soccer, and you often see leagues playing here. There's also amphitheatre style seating, so you can just take in a relaxed day at the park. If I lived closer, I would be here more often. read more
