Came for a dinner party PARKING - a real plus they have their own lot off the main road you turn and it's in the back. This area of Norwalk is tough for street parking. ENTRANCE - we were alone and our eventual waiter greeted us with smiles and giggles. Quite a character. MILEU - the decor is quite elegant a good place for a date so to speak. Very nice wall paintings and plates. There are a couple of sections the one we were in had 15 tables all superbly set up with nice table cloths etc. MENU - a nice overall selection plus some nice specials. For those gluten free you can get pasta that fits your digestion APPETIZERS - I tried the meatballs and to be honest they weren't great. The sauce was a little burnt tasting and the meatballs were quite bready if that's a word ENTREES - I ordered the veal chop special, it was O.K. Nothing to dance on the table for. The culprit was the sauce that again tasted over reduced and a little burnt. The veal chop itself was excellent VINO - has the house Cabernet that was house so par for the course. SERVICE - our waiter was great and helpful. The kitchen however was slow getting dishes out. PRICE - for 6 people the bill without tax and tip came to $287. So it's $$$$ really

Cappuccino

We drove by this restaurant for many years but finally decided to try it. It's a small restaurant that reminds you of family. The waiters provided excellent service. We had fresh bread to start. I ordered the shrimp appetizer and my husband ordered a salad to start both were very good. I asked them to make me chicken Sorrentina (they have veal sorrentina on the menu) and my husband had the squid ink linguine. The dishes were both very good. We had the tartufo and cappuccino for dessert both were excellent. We will definitely return. The restaurant was busy so I believe they have customers that are returning loyal customers.

Lovely little place for Sunday night family dinner. Service isn't rushed and we were fine with that. Delightful burrata to start and the boys loved their meatballs. Sauce for the gnocchi was a bit too spicy for my mother in law - I preferred the sauce served with my raviolis. Chicken Marsala and chicken Parmesan were totally on point and mouth-watering. Linguine with clams were spectacular and perfect saltiness to the broth that was slopped up by their perfect crusty bread (every meal starts with that and soft salted butter plus this fabulous herbed oil concoction). Desserts were to die for and they make the perfect cosmos - can't wait to become regulars which will probably happen after this visit!

The fettuccine alla pasquale was really good and was a big portion. They forgot one of our appetizers but gave us free limoncello. The calamari was also very fresh

Old school, very good. Veal chop was tremendous. A hidden gem. Dated, yes. But if you like honest excellent food, this is a very good spot.

"A birthday dinner that actually felt like one."…read more Sienna Ristorante gets the balance right in a way most places don't. The space immediately stands out with a clean, modern feel that still feels warm, not staged or overly polished. It sets the tone before the food even hits the table. The meal itself followed through. The complimentary bread with oil was simple but done right, soft with a good crust and a clean, flavorful dip. We shared the wild mushroom arancini, and that was the first real standout. Crispy on the outside, rich on the inside, and the sauce was the kind you keep going back to without thinking. It carried the dish. For mains, I went with the wild mushroom pizza, which came out with a well balanced crust and just enough weight from the toppings without feeling heavy. The mushrooms were the focus and they delivered. The honeynut squash ravioli leaned more delicate, slightly sweet, and felt more composed than expected in a good way. Drinks held their own too. The Old Fashioned was clean and steady, while the lychee martini added something lighter and more refreshing to the table. They close the meal with biscotti and limoncello, which already would have been enough, but we added the tiramisu and that was the right call. It rounded everything out without feeling excessive, just a clean finish to a well paced dinner. Service matched the tone of the restaurant, attentive without hovering, and the pacing of the meal felt natural from start to finish. This is the kind of place that feels intentional. Not just good food, but a full experience that actually holds together. Easy to come back to, especially for something worth celebrating.

I'm reviewing a place for the first time I've never actually stepped into. In hopes of finding good Italian food since I miss my Mom's. I kid you not, every time I call I am told they are 'closed for a private party', or they have been booked and can't get in and even on the private party days, no takeout and so I keep trying but never get an answer lately! Because I have given up on Italian food in Fairfield County and this place is my last hope. So if Mike's reads this, please tell me the best possible night to get into your restaurant? I am told your tiramisu is to die for. Well, I don't want to die, but I would like to try it before I do? Thanks.

No menus, just asked what we liked. He started us off with Burrata with roasted peppers and an arugula salad. Delicious! Then he opened a nice bottle of red and served us sautéed artichoke hearts, bread and olive oil, also fantastic. The whole time he was personable and friendly. As if this wasn't enough, he then served us fresh parpadelli in a wonderful sauce. He did it all. I watched as he left our table and went right to the stove. Back and forth, all evening. He did the same for others. For entrees he served us shrimp, chicken and veal. Enough of each for 4. Then we ended with gelato, port wine, limoncello and coffees. What a fantastic night. The place was well appointed and warm. This is a hidden gem and a must go to.
