    LASAGNA BOLOGNESE, spaghetti Pomodoro/Tomato

These photos are the real food you will get for $30 each plate. Taste like it was made days ago and kept in fridge for quick microwave warm ups. Absolutely terrible. Service was even worse than the food itself. The owner didn't want to serve at all. He was very rude to all customers and kept making breaking noises by throwing silverwares and glass cups on new table setups for the next guests. Never will go back there again. So much different than the same one in Greenwich, which has fresh food and such a nice service with care. My kids didn't even want to ask for Parmesan cheese because they were afraid of the owner will get mad to them.

Oh my! What a wonderful Italian restaurant. We were in the area and walked by this place and what an amazing place this is. The pasta which is served is all homemade and it was spectacular. We started off with some focaccia bread, so good, with some olive oil on the side. Next I ordered the lasagna bolognese which had to be the best piece of lasagna I ever had. My girlfriend had the Rigatoni pasta and she loved the simplicity of the dish, but with the fresh homemade pasta; she said it was perfect! For dessert we had to construct our own tiramisu. It was ok but it did not compare with the rest of the meal. See my attached video for how it was made. Next time we will have a different dessert. The service was top notch. The waitress was able to provide guidance on the different menu items. We loved the decor of this restaurant, it is small but yet you don't feel crowded. This restaurant also offers take home meals which I imagine they should be just as good as the meal we had. In addition we were able to purchase some Italian cheese which I am looking forward to trying. We have definitely found a new favorite Italian restaurant.

I had a girls night at Il Pastficio last night and it was absolutely delicious!! Such a fun evening and a very chill vibe. We started with Gli Affettati Misti without the Burrata (which I regret). The meat was super fresh with a good variety and the focaccia was toasted and delicious! We also got the "Gnocchets" to try - pan frying gnocchi is a new phenomenon to me, but oh wow is it delicious, especially smothered in the marinara. You really get to taste the quality of the handmade pasta this way, and it's worth it! For entree, my friend ordered La Lasagna Bolognese which was tasty and I ordered the Rigatoni all'Amatriciana which was delicious! The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce had a solid amount of guanciale, the taste pairing well with the San Marzano. I couldn't finish it so I took it home and it still tasted great reheated! For dessert we ordered the Affogato which was so refreshing after all the tomato sauces! I also ordered the Torta Al Limone - the flavor was ok, but I thought the shell was a little hard. Next time I'll follow the waitress's advice and go with the Tiramisu! I chatted with the awesome wait staff in Italian, and everyone was super lovely and welcoming! I'll definitely be coming back with my family! Grazie!

The inclusion of small children in the dining room interfered with the special nature of our visit. The expense of the meal and service was worth it but the noisy children detracted from the actual dollars invested and our dining experience! Although a few large parties were happening, it felt comfortably busy without being loud. Parking was easy with their lot. The décor is elegant, and the beautifully lit bottle display behind the bar really stands out. We sat in the main dining room and could easily hold a conversation. We started with the grilled polpo and ahi tuna tartare -- both excellent. I ordered the T-bone medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. The table also had filet mignon, mezzi rigatoni alla vodka with shrimp, and pappardelle bolognese. Sides of Brussels sprouts with bacon and balsamic-honey glaze and baked spinach au gratin complemented everything nicely. The chocolate soufflé was a sweet finish. Portions were satisfying without being overwhelming. Bathrooms were very clean, though the entryway floor was a bit slippery. Overall, I'd absolutely return and recommend it for a special night out.

Staff is very friendly, pleasant and accommodating. Rizzutos is one of the few places (3 in my area) around Connecticut that does igloos for the winter and then canopy tents in the summer! This is great if you're looking for that added privacy and special touch to your dining experience. The inside is also lovely as you'll be able to dine by a wonderful fireplace that definitely feels amazing during these cold northeast winters. One recent addition that I think is amazing and what brought me in this last time is their seasonal four-course menus! For like $30 you get a four course meal! Such a great price for the experience. The portions are samplings so not TOO large portions but with the amount of courses you will get comfortably full.

Tested like dishwasher water. could not drink it. The avocado toast consisted of two small thin whole wheat toast slices with the thinnest spread of avocado over the top. And two poached eggs over that. Pathetically small for the price. I was starving so i ate it. The salad was also absurdly small on a tiny plate. To boot, the live music was awful. The singer could not sing AT ALL and it was like listening to chalk on a blackboard. couldnt wait to get outta there. sadly this place has gone way downhill. will never be back.
