    LASAGNA BOLOGNESE, spaghetti Pomodoro/Tomato

These photos are the real food you will get for $30 each plate. Taste like it was made days ago and kept in fridge for quick microwave warm ups. Absolutely terrible. Service was even worse than the food itself. The owner didn't want to serve at all. He was very rude to all customers and kept making breaking noises by throwing silverwares and glass cups on new table setups for the next guests. Never will go back there again. So much different than the same one in Greenwich, which has fresh food and such a nice service with care. My kids didn't even want to ask for Parmesan cheese because they were afraid of the owner will get mad to them.

Oh my! What a wonderful Italian restaurant. We were in the area and walked by this place and what an amazing place this is. The pasta which is served is all homemade and it was spectacular. We started off with some focaccia bread, so good, with some olive oil on the side. Next I ordered the lasagna bolognese which had to be the best piece of lasagna I ever had. My girlfriend had the Rigatoni pasta and she loved the simplicity of the dish, but with the fresh homemade pasta; she said it was perfect! For dessert we had to construct our own tiramisu. It was ok but it did not compare with the rest of the meal. See my attached video for how it was made. Next time we will have a different dessert. The service was top notch. The waitress was able to provide guidance on the different menu items. We loved the decor of this restaurant, it is small but yet you don't feel crowded. This restaurant also offers take home meals which I imagine they should be just as good as the meal we had. In addition we were able to purchase some Italian cheese which I am looking forward to trying. We have definitely found a new favorite Italian restaurant.

I had a girls night at Il Pastficio last night and it was absolutely delicious!! Such a fun evening and a very chill vibe. We started with Gli Affettati Misti without the Burrata (which I regret). The meat was super fresh with a good variety and the focaccia was toasted and delicious! We also got the "Gnocchets" to try - pan frying gnocchi is a new phenomenon to me, but oh wow is it delicious, especially smothered in the marinara. You really get to taste the quality of the handmade pasta this way, and it's worth it! For entree, my friend ordered La Lasagna Bolognese which was tasty and I ordered the Rigatoni all'Amatriciana which was delicious! The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce had a solid amount of guanciale, the taste pairing well with the San Marzano. I couldn't finish it so I took it home and it still tasted great reheated! For dessert we ordered the Affogato which was so refreshing after all the tomato sauces! I also ordered the Torta Al Limone - the flavor was ok, but I thought the shell was a little hard. Next time I'll follow the waitress's advice and go with the Tiramisu! I chatted with the awesome wait staff in Italian, and everyone was super lovely and welcoming! I'll definitely be coming back with my family! Grazie!

Several groups of bread, olive oil and olives placed on our large table were evenly distributed so there was not a lot of passing around. The salad was lightly dressed, flavorful and nicely complimented with thin slices of parmesean cheese. The food is as close to homemade as you can imagine. The eggplant parm was not heavy and delicious. The pasta primavera was a favorite among many. Lots of veggies with a delicate cream sauce. My sister and I had the Parpardelle. So delicious! Not a heavy meat sauce but rather small pieces of thin sausage complimented with hearty mushrooms and peas. The parpardelle was a wide very thin pasta making this dish extra delicious. We had our party of 13 guests in the rear private room which is behind a lovely iron gated archway The decor is so inviting. This was our second year having our gathering at via Sforza. Our plan had always been to have a different restaurant each year as in the past. However, everyone in attendance requested we not change the venue. It's been a wonderful find! Thank you Gianni for your attention to detail and making this event so special!

We had a 6:30PM Saturday reservation, and we sat in the outside portion of the restaurant; complete with roof, walls and a nice breeze. Menu is a lot of pasta, chicken, pizza, some apps, plus specials. We ordered fairly quickly. Clams Casino & Maldani Pizza for Apps. Risotto, Lasagna and 2 Pasta Dishes for mains. We noticed a band was tuning up, which I wasn't thrilled about. The apps arrived before the music started, and while the Pizza was pretty good, their version of Clams Casino was not. More like baked or stuffed clams with a huge chunk of bacon on top, that dominated the entire flavor of the clam. While waiting for about 40 minutes for the entree, the band kicked into high gear. What started off with some Italian Classics, quickly turned into a loud, bad wedding band. "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison, stopped all conversation at the table. All we could do was wait for dinner, and laugh at the ridiculousness. The Lasagna was good, but the rest of the meal was not. Linguini and Clams was way too salty, Risotto was dry and just not good. My Pappardelle il Forno was disappointing. Overcooked pasta, and a strange sauce for almost $30.00. The desserts were the star, coffee was good and our servers were nice. But a bill of about $300.00, {after tip and tax} is totally unjustifisble. Also, we noticed that during dinner, a breeze would bring the stench of either the dumpster or a dead animal on the property, to our noses. A perfect omen. This place needs to lose the band, fire the cooks, and revamp. It was pretty awful. Maybe at one time this place was really good, but that time has long passed....

Although a few large parties were happening, it felt comfortably busy without being loud. Parking was easy with their lot. The décor is elegant, and the beautifully lit bottle display behind the bar really stands out. We sat in the main dining room and could easily hold a conversation. We started with the grilled polpo and ahi tuna tartare -- both excellent. I ordered the T-bone medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. The table also had filet mignon, mezzi rigatoni alla vodka with shrimp, and pappardelle bolognese. Sides of Brussels sprouts with bacon and balsamic-honey glaze and baked spinach au gratin complemented everything nicely. The chocolate soufflé was a sweet finish. Portions were satisfying without being overwhelming. Bathrooms were very clean, though the entryway floor was a bit slippery. Overall, I'd absolutely return and recommend it for a special night out.

It's perfect for a date night in the garden room or bar, a family dinner in the main dining room, or celebrating a special occasion. We ordered the tomahawk steak, seafood tower, and a salad, and every dish was terrific--well-prepared and thoughtfully presented. To end the night, we couldn't decide between the Napoleon or the carrot cake, and our server (I wish I remembered his name!) surprised us by bringing the Napoleon on the house, mentioning that it's award-winning. He also moved us from a smaller table to a beautiful booth toward the end of the meal because he wanted to make sure our first visit ended with the right ambiance. Such a kind and thoughtful gesture that really elevated the experience. We'll absolutely be back.
