I said What? I didn't book a fill & you actually called ME back knowing this. I sat down & told the girl I need a full set my nails were growing under. I also gave her the picture I wanted of a red rose & she said ok. I told her to pick the red. i also told her I'm sick of coming in & getting the run around I'm a paying consumer. She proceeds to remove my polish & TIPS & then says next time you can get a set, no time today. all my nails were back to short & she also had three other workers lingering around us showing her You tube videos on how to do a ROSE. Never got the built up gel rose that I asked for & then she takes out a sticker . I told her absolutely not . I want it drawn. She had done cherries before and I liked them. she was still working on me & her loud 5:30 appt came in & I had to hear all about how she didnt get to have her usual girl because she wasn't finished with me. Excuse me?? who's fault was that? I work as a caseworker my own time is valuable & I don't appreciate any of the drama . it's meant to be self care time. here's the icing on the proverbial cake- Andy then tells me it'll be $102 ( that's with a coupon). I asked him what that price is for ? even with a full set & design I've never paid that amount! He couldn't even explain it & calls Anita over to ask her what she did. Get this- she told him she put fresh acrylic( the cheapest stuff offered) over my own nails until next appointment- and tried calling it a full set. Crooks. The whole thing was disgustingly ridiculous & my nails didn't look good or worth $102!!! With a coupon they tried to over talk me a bunch of gibberish like I'm stupid. I think everyone ought to be careful . the lady who stands at the front is a cold inpersonable fixture too who's just $$$$$$$$$$. Never again! should have gotten exactly what I wanted & been treated like a regular.

Everything seemed fine at first, but the very next day my gel polish--originally pink--turned an orange/yellow color. I was away for my birthday at Foxwoods Resort Casino and contacted the salon as soon as I got back about a week later. When I went in, the owner asked to see the polish and even said it looked like something was wrong with it. She had me pick a new color and another employee did a simple color change. Here's where it became frustrating: when I went to pay, they tried to charge me $35, then lowered it to $15 after the owner stepped in. When I questioned why I should have to pay anything, I was told it "could have been from the sun." That makes no sense--gel polish should not change color from normal exposure, and in my case, my toes weren't even exposed like that. They even threw out the original polish, which tells me they knew something was wrong. Still, I was made to pay $15 to fix a mistake that wasn't mine. The whole point of a pedicure is to have it look good, and to be charged again for a clear product issue is disappointing and unfair. I won't be returning.
