I've come here twice so far, and will absolutely be coming back again. I went in May of 2022 with my boyfriend for mani/pedi's that we booked, prior to a wedding. I got a special package for the pedi, which I enjoyed. It was relaxing, and came out super. I also got the dip and tips, which was $55 total. Loved how they came out. I also came in December 2022 by myself as a walk in the day before Christmas Eve, as I had a half day. It was busy as heck. They told me 20 minutes, which was just about accurate - maybe a little longer. I only came to remove Acrylics I got on vacation, and get tips & dip again. They came out super, and I loved it!!! They're still on almost three weeks later, in fact! I will be going again for sure regularly. The only thing I'd change is that it can at times feel a little rushed, but seemingly only when they're super busy. Also, the music this last time was loud and odd Christmas music. I went to Happy Nails last Friday with my 8-year-old. She got a regular pedicure ($35 + $5 tip) and I got a "happy pedicure" with gel $65 ($10 tip). Everything seemed fine at first, but the very next day my gel polish--originally pink--turned an orange/yellow color. I was away for my birthday at Foxwoods Resort Casino and contacted the salon as soon as I got back about a week later. When I went in, the owner asked to see the polish and even said it looked like something was wrong with it. She had me pick a new color and another employee did a simple color change. Here's where it became frustrating: when I went to pay, they tried to charge me $35, then lowered it to $15 after the owner stepped in. When I questioned why I should have to pay anything, I was told it "could have been from the sun." That makes no sense--gel polish should not change color from normal exposure, and in my case, my toes weren't even exposed like that. They even threw out the original polish, which tells me they knew something was wrong. Still, I was made to pay $15 to fix a mistake that wasn't mine. The whole point of a pedicure is to have it look good, and to be charged again for a clear product issue is disappointing and unfair. I won't be returning. read more

Nails were fine but the covid guards were gross and so were the UV light cubbies where you dry shellac nails. Everything was smudged and crusted in stuff. I should have just walked out but I was taking my daughter and I for her wedding nails and pedicure. Spent almost 300$ (20$ tips for each teck) and left feeling dirty. read more

Was a walk-in today for a pedicure and seems like they had appointments back to back. I was rushed thru Did not cut buff or do cuticle care. I questioned her on cuticle care and she told me she had done it - what? And that she cut them. Another bald faced lie. No first coat- went right to polish. Great salon! Very clean and professional. Good color selection. A little pricey but totally worth it. The regular manicure didn't chip for almost 2 weeks despite all the wear and tear and hand sanitizer use at work. My mom and I were looking for a new nail place on Christmas Eve. Doing some searching I came across this place that is newer. We decided to check them out. We got there right at 930 when they opened and they were already all busy(likely bc of the holiday). We had to wait about 25 mins but they were able to take us. The prices seemed reasonable. My manicure was $15 plus $5 extra because I did different colors. My mom did the dip gel with tips and I think it was $55. It's been two weeks and other than usual grow out and wear on the ends of my nails, my manicure still looks good. My mom really loved how her nails came out too. A few things they could work on: while we were waiting tons of people were coming in asking for appointments. They just kept telling people "it's a long wait". Well, one girl they said that to, and then just turned and kept working and the girl ended up just walking out. I'm sure they didn't mean to come across as rude but I felt bad that they basically ignored the girl when they could have instead told her when they would be available (which they did with others). It just seemed odd. Some nail salons will open a new package of cleaned tools when you come in. They did not do this here. I just prayed the whole time they were sterilizing in between customers. I went for a gel manicure and had Adam. At the beginning of the manicure he picked up the nail clippers and I clearly told him that I didn't want my nails cut. He completely ignored me and started cutting them. I told him several more times not to do it, he never even looked at me while I was saying this. He was so rough with the buffer and gripped my fingers so hard his nails left indents in my fingers. He was incredibly rude the entire time and just barked orders at me to put my hands into the dryer or get up and wash my hands. At the end he put a huge glob of lotion not on my hand but literally directly onto the center of my engagement and wedding bands that I had to go and wash off. I have never had someone be so rude to me in any setting, never mind in a service-oriented location. I will NEVER go back there again. read more

Glad to have a nice, clean nail option in the area. I usually drive to East Providence but decided to give this new spot a try. The staff were friendly, Mia did a great job with my pedicure and French gel manicure, and the place was quiet and clean. There aren't any bells and whistles and it certainly isn't the fanciest place around but they make up for it everywhere else. They open a new pack of tools for every person, use bowl liners for the pedicure stations, and they were cleaning just about everything when I walked in. Absolutely amazing!!! Wonderful attention to detail. I recommend an appointment. They take walk ins but get busy. Amazing foot massage, plenty of packages to choose from to relax you AND their normal manicure includes and sitting neck and shoulder/upper back massage too!!!!!! . They also have a card where you come in 10 times and you get $10 off!!! I've never had a nail place do that!!!! Clean too. Very sanitary and I will DEFIANTLY be back. Worst gel manicure ever... the manicure consisted of cleaning cuticles with the electric nail drill on dry skin (no hand soaking), applying gel polish with nail dust still covering entire hand and a paint job that looks like a child applied the polish. This method seems unsanitary if you get a cut during the process. However, a few good aspects during the visit included a two-minute massage while wearing warm gloves filled with lotion, a hot towel to wipe your hands and quick service upon arrival. Perhaps, they can implement some different manicure protocols to improve the services. read more

I tried this salon for the first time on Sunday.I will NEVER return .They drill off your gel polish and scrape to the core instead of giving your nails an extra couple of minutes for the acetone to do its job .I told the male tech the drill was burning my nail beds and he continued to drill off the old gel polish.Today my nail beds are thin and tender.This is a get them in get them out mentality.This is Not the proper way to care for nails .PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE.Find a reputable nail salon read more

Been going here for almost a year now, i will never go back! The owner is RUDE! She actually chased me out the door to ask if my $10 tip was for my pedicure and manicure implying it wasn't enough! This is my second visit to Happy nails. The 1st time It was about their 3 rd day open. It was outstanding. Today I visit and have the same technician. Today's experience is good but seemed rushed. He didn't put softener when he exfoliated the bottom of my feet, a little disappointed because I wanted that part the most because I had a special occasion tonight. DO NOT GO HERE! I went with my best friend here for the first time to get dip manicures. I got a French tip. The man was rude an yelled at me for not having my hand the way he wanted. The French looks horrible, uneven, and spots all over where they shouldn't be... and it cost $60! He didn't even file down after the layers of dip.. he just glopped on the top coat.. I did not leave a tip ( I am usually a very big tipper). I finished before my friend. She called me on the way home and told me they harassed her for my tip. Her nails came out bad too. I cannot say enough about this new nail business that sprouted up on Route 6 near Hannoush Jewelers and O'Reilly Auto Parts. The place is so nicely decorated and it's impeccably clean. The young man who did my pedicure was so focused and he was a perfectionist everything was perfect I'm definitely going back and I've been to a lot of nail places and this was by far hands down the best nail salon I've ever been to. I've been desperately trying to find a new nail salon and had thought I'd found it here but sadly I don't think I'll be going back. The day of my appointment I received a call from a NY number, I initially didn't answer expecting spam but the VM they left was to confirm my appointment at Happy Nails. I immediately called back however they didn't have record of the other person included in my appointment (despite that same number calling her that morning.) We decided to change our appointment to later at night in order to both go for a gel manicure as we had originally scheduled. When we got there I was originally impressed with how clean everything appeared to be- especially with COVID-19 precautions. The staff appeared to be wiping everything down and using hand sanitizer frequently. At the end of my appointment a stray bug landed on my nail, a little gross but I honestly didn't think much of it since I felt bad they were not allowed to have AC on due to COVID and had no choice but to leave the door open. The gentleman doing my nails buffed the bug away- again a little gross but I understood, and redid the nail. The woman I went with was impressed with the services we received and booked another appointment for the following Monday morning. When she went back for a pedicure she called to inform them she was there and then she waited outside to be called in for roughly 25 minutes (you must call prior to entering.) Having expected the entire appointment to only take about an hour she had to leave to go to work. Seemed a bit odd to be running behind on a Monday during the day. However, the final straw was this week when one of my nails cracked off and revealed some sort of fungus/bacteria growing under my nail. Despite washing the nail vigorously it won't come off and I will more than likely have to call my dermatologist.
