The program has certainly gone down hill since then. -The coaches provided no guidance or instruction. - The coaches had no real training program for the kids, they would just cycle through a couple of strokes without any other practice. - Despite repeated email and in person requests our kid never got the swim cap nor t-shirt that was supposed to come with the program.

Today, me and my kids wanted to play basketball in the gym. Many of the hoops were much lower than 10 feet. Not a big deal. we went and talked to a couple of the girls behind the desk to ask them to raise the hoops so that we could play basketball at regulation height. One of the girls stood up to talk to me and said, "no, I think all of the hoops are at the right height. " I responded and said, "no, many of them are around seven or 8 feet. They should be at 10 feet. "She looked at me like I was speaking a different language and said no I believe we can't adjust the height of the hoops. I realize that maybe I was speaking to someone who had only worked there for a little while and maybe didn't know the rules or the procedures around raising and lowering the hoops. So I said, "I believe we can raise the hoops and you can use that tool (pointing at the tool by her) to raise them. If you get a chance, please help us raise one of these hoops to 10 feet. " I thought that I was really nice and respectful. What happened is nobody ever came out to help us raise the hoops to 10 feet they just sort of ignored our request. Not the end of the world, we still love this place. But I hope in the future, the staff is trained and able to assist in these types of things.

The main thing I wanted to do was use the Total Body Enhancement (I am a black card member), but theirs was out of service due to some "computer issue" that affected all their black card member services. I decided to work out anyway, since I was there. They don't have lockers with built in locks, like my home PF location has; I can't take a chance with my valuables, so I inquired with the staff member at the front as to whether I was missing where some lockers that lock were located. I was told there weren't any, but he could sell me a lock. I debated for a while whether I wanted this expense for what would likely be a single usage, and ultimately decided to buy it (I would at least own the lock, which I may use again elsewhere). I opened the lock to discover that it was not a normal Master padlock as it appeared to be, but some very cheap version that I would never trust to protect my valuables. While still figuring out how cheap it was, I tried to peal the sticker with the combination off the back and it would not come off. I decided to get a refund and leave without working out. The staff member who sold me the lock moments before told me he could not give me a refund because I opened it. I convinced him that it was the only fair thing to do, but then he was unable to give me the refund because his manager didn't enable that functionality for him and the manager was not there. He refused to give me his name. Another employee arrived at that point and told me the same thing, but he was very sympathetic and eager to solve the problem. I left the "lock" there. He would get my refund and contact me with the outcome. He took responsibility and was happy to give me his name. The next day, I received a call from someone else who told me it was against corporate policy to give refunds on opened items and if I wanted to complain, she could give me a phone number. She didn't care anything about the reasons, just "that's the policy". Up until this point in my membership, I had been very happy in every way with everything. But the membership costs a lot, and I planned to pay it every month for the rest of my life. Now I'm researching other options.

The gym itself could be a little bigger, but it's very clean and organized. There are people of all ages and everyone is very motivating towards beginners, especially the instructors. My experiences with other gyms, including Planet Fitness and VASA, were straightforward and seamless. Both had clear and convenient processes for enrolling through Fitness Pass. Unfortunately, my experience with the Orem EoS Fitness location was different. When I called to ask how to sign up using Fitness Pass, I was transferred to a membership representative who informed me that I would need to pay an additional $10 per month on top of what I already pay through Fitness Pass. When I asked for clarification, I was told this was essentially because the gym needed to make more than what Fitness Pass provides. This explanation did not seem appropriate or consistent with how the program is intended to work. To verify, I contacted Fitness Pass directly. They confirmed that I should not be charged any additional fee for a basic membership and even offered to join a three-way call with the gym to clarify the situation. However, when I called the gym back just minutes later, I was told that membership staff were suddenly unavailable for at least 30 minutes, despite having just spoken with them. I then contacted another EoS Fitness location in Springville and explained the exact same situation. Their staff immediately clarified that the Fitness Pass fully covers the basic membership and that no additional fee is required. I visited that location in person, received a tour, and completed my enrollment in about 20 minutes, without any extra charges. They also explained that the $10 fee mentioned by the other location applies only to a premium membership and is entirely optional. Due to the conflicting information and lack of transparency from this location, I will be going to the Springville location instead, even though it is farther away. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend confirming all membership details carefully before signing up here.

On May 7, 2026 I began a "free trial" membership with Eos Fitness. Their own website advertises it…read moreas "No credit cards. No commitments. No excuses!". I know that gyms like this are infamous for predatory practices around cancelations so I specifically asked the sales representative at the time what the process would be like to cancel and if there were any fees. I was explicitly told that cancelation can be done any time online and there is no cancelation fee. The sales representative took it upon himself to recite the basics of the Membership Agreement - likely as a tactic to get me to listen and talk to him rather than reading the agreement for myself. Even though I was explicitly told there was no fee to cancel, what he failed to mention was that cancelations require a 30-day written notice and that within those 30 days I will be charged nearly $100 for an annual fee and first month membership. This is incredibly predatory behavior. I even called the listed phone number, just to reach an answering machine. It instructed me to "press 2" for cancelation requests. When I pressed 2, the answering machine said nothing about cancelations - only about updating my billing method. I tried that and the only options it gave me were to add a new card or new bank account. No option to cancel. I went in-person to request to cancel and was told that nobody on-site would be able to help me cancel and that I had to do it online or over the phone. I called the business several times and was finally able to reach a representative who was just as unhelpful.
