We thoroughly enjoyed this place. From the layout to the atmosphere it was great. The workers were friendly and informative. The kids had a really fun time walking around and being able to pick the berries that they want. There were different tree sizes so they were able to grab the ones that were lower. The fruits were tasty and was well worth it. We enjoyed this more than cherry picking because it wasnt as dusty because there was tarp on the ground and the kids can walk easily. Would definitely recommend.

Very rude owner at the front desk. There is a way how to speak to customers. She needs to learn better!

When we were there, the staff advised us to head deeper into the farm since most of the cherries near the parking lot had already been picked. The price was $6.5 per lb, which is slightly pricy compared to the farms in Brendwood, but considering the location, if you live in South Bay, this is the ideal location for cherry picking. A couple of things to note that they do not provide ladders on site due to safety and liability concerns, and you cannot bring your own buckets/bags; they will provide the plastic bags for you at the farm.

However, I would think that coming on the first day would give me a better chance of cherry picking. Many trees were sparse and had little to no cherries for picking. :( I wondered if I just chose the wrong ranch to pick from. I came for bings and Rainer's and left with only Rainer's. The bings didn't look as red or ripe to eat. It's a fun summer activity, but I recommend all come early when ranches are open! $6.50/lb for self pick and $7.50/lb if you want them pre-picked. Bags are provided!

You walk around picking the cherries you want. The trees are marked to indicate the different varietals. You put them in your bag, and you go back to the table to pay for what you picked. Great date idea. There are a couple photo spots designed for Instagram type photos. We didn't use those, just took regular pics. And the whole thing cost like $10 for both of us. That's less than 2 coffees and you get the cherries too. Make sure to check in advance as crops aren't always predictable.

I would recommend shoes you don't mind getting dirty or stained. Parking was small but we still found parking at the entrance maybe cuz we went toward end of the season and later in the afternoon. We got carried away and end up picking 6 lb +, cost added up fast . 6.50$ per pound for cherry and 3.50$ / lb for apricots . Both cherry and apricots were sweet ! It was certainly a beautiful autumn day after Halloween Day out here today. Peaceful pumpkin vibes everywhere.

For a period of time, I was getting my wagyu steaks from Costco for a stellar price per pound when it was in-stock, but they stopped carrying it for a year and a half so it was time to find someplace else to get my wagyu fix. I decided one day to check out this carniceria after walking home from the local farmer's market and lo and behold, my precious wagyu strip steak was staring back at me whispering to buy it. You bet I bought the steak and on a whim too lol. It even came with a certificate of authenticity and a very nice paper bag! The market inside is very spacious and it's clear to me that they keep their store pretty clean as it did have a bleach-like odor. While their primary focus is selling various cuts of "elite" meat, they also offer a selection of marinated protein, and accoutrements. After securing the goods, my husband grilled that baby up and we devoured every sliver of medium rare goodness. It's fatty but in the best way possible and a little goes a long way in terms of getting and staying full. I will definitely be coming back here to try out other cuts of meat!

Their prices have skyrocketed since I first started going here, save yourself some money and shop at Region. Also call prior to going, if you're stopping by right when they open or a few min prior to closing. I've stopped by before to find their store surprisingly closed during their "store hours".

So on our way back home we went here and it was pretty cool. I didn't realize how close Morgan Hill was to the Cupertino/San Jose area (~30 miles or less). It was a great experience. The entrance to the parking lot is very clear but it's only one way so if you see parking just park there. I saw cars park on the highway road because it was full. First you check in to pay admission for adults ( kids under 4 feet are free) then they hand you the bucket and your on your way. It was a bit muddy because of the rain the past few days so make sure to wear shoes you don't care about. We were a bit lost as to where we were allowed to pull but we found our footing and it was a fun hour experience. You can eat the cherries as you pick. They don't care. There's a lot of cherries at the bottom of the tree as well as on top for the kids to pick. But because of the weather and rain I saw more baby cherries or cherries that weren't ready to ripe yet. Maybe next weekend it will be better. When you check out, they weigh it and bag it in a plastic bag for you. Morgan Hill downtown is very close to here so you could go there for lunch or walk around to complete your Morgan Hill experience but you'll probably have to make a UTURN to get there.
