I LOVED THIS. Perfect for a day inside my hotel room. This with a bottle of prosecco was perfect to escape the crowds and rest my sore ankle. Rotini pasta with duck in a to go container seems so wrong but tasted so right. The pasta here is better than most sit down places in the states. And it's a pretty big portion for 10 euros. Just wild. I would have eaten here more often if I had stumbled across it. read more

the best pasta we had in venice (to be fair we only had pasta twice). the duck sauce was GOOD. tiny shop with limited standing eating space. you choose the type of pasta shape and sauce. price was really fair. the ladies making our pasta were super nice and recommended good dessert places also. read more

the spaghetti bolognese was nothing exceptional but maybe I just got the wrong one since the other two people i went with seemed to like it more. it was 30 euro for three people to eat, with prices for the menu items ranging from 8-10 euros, with the vast majority of them being 10 unless you want bolognese for 9 or just plain tomato sauce for 8. they also charge a euro if you want cheese on your pasta which I don't really appreciate or think is fair. its not like you are getting a huge serving or anything for the price you're paying so it would be nice if they could include the cheese. also there is no where to sit once you have ordered, just counters that you can lean on while you eat and there is no bathroom even for paying customers. it works if you're in a pinch for food and don't want to spend a lot but its not somewhere I would say you must try. read more

When traveling Venice we noticed that their fast food options included "pasta in a cup". Of course my personal constant pasta cravings were awaken! We tried a couple of these places but this one is definitely my favorite! Not only do they use fresh pasta but you have an abundance if combinations and options to choose from. It's all really just build-your-own style which makes it enjoyable for anyone. We all chose completely different options: tortellini, fusilli, tagliatelle with completely different sauces. But really where could you go wrong? Each cup is made to perfection and steaming hot! But keep in mind to eat it right away. They even tell you NOT to close the lid and save it for later. So be sure to enjoy it right away! The only thing that would make this better is if they were open later. After a long night drinking at the bars, pasta in a cup is all I could dream of. So be sure to get there early before closing! read more

I'd say that our pastas from We Love Italy was one of the highlights of our trip! Great value for money, complete deliciousness, fast! We had the duck and pesto with added cheese. HANDS DOWN BEST PASTA I'VE EVER HAD!! We came 3 times in our 4 day stay in Venice. Sweetest staff with a great atmosphere. The food is delicious! You pick your pasta and your sauce. The lady recommended tagliatelle and that's all we've been having. Our sauces: - Anatra (duck) is a MUST have. My favorite pasta so far during my trip. They are so sweet if you are visiting and don't speak Italian well don't be shy. The kind woman behind the counter will help you. I was hoping this place would be as good as the reviews said and it was even better. It's straight to go with area to stand inside with air conditioner units but no seats. Don't worry your pasta won't last long anyways as you'll finish it in no time. I'll be back for another lunch before I leave. read more

Discovered this place when searching for some fresh pasta in Venice. It was a bit of a challenge to find down a small zig zag alley. The shop is small but food is fresh and affordable! The menu is translated into a few languages - very tourist friendly. I had spaghetti because it was marked one of the fresh pastas. It was €6!! What a bargain. I like that it comes in a take away box so you can eat on the go. You can add some grated cheese on top (upcharge) for a cheesy treat. The food was cooked up fresh to order and ready in minutes. It stayed hot on my walk around Venice. The two people behind the counter were very friendly and spoke beautiful English. My food was top notch! This is a great restaurant for a quick, tasty, affordable meal. It's part of an Italian restaurant chain, but honestly, it was better than several of the other meals I had during the three days I was in Venice. Granted, I was prohibited from going to the pricier place due to budget constraints, but surely, We Love Italy offers more authentic food than many of the other tourist traps that are all too abundant, especially around San Marco. The setup is similar to that of Qdoba or Chiptole, you pick a pasta type and a sauce, then add any extras. My girlfriend and I split a Carbonara and a Pesto, both of which were solid. There's a couple of stools to sit on if you want to eat there, but otherwise, you'll need to leave, which is perfect as you can grab a cheap bottle of wine from a grocery store and sit near one of the canals. TLDR: Solid, cheap food, that is superior to much of what you'll be offered at higher price points in much of the city. Good for people on a budget. read more

This place was great for what it was- quick, fresh pasta for those on the go- frequented by tourists and Venetians alike. Pick your pasta shape, then pick your sauce/flavor. I got the panna e fungi (mushroom!) and my husband got the carbonara. The textures of the noodles was awesome, and flavor pretty good, but there wasn't actually any "goodies" in either pasta- no peas or ham in Eric's, no mushrooms in mine. Still, the price and convenience was right. Other items such as paninis and salads are options, too, as you can see on my menu photo. There is very minimal seating area. Plan on grabbing and walking, maybe a good snack to eat in St. Mark's Square. Staff was friendly. I'd certainly recommend this for a quick eat, and as an American tourist, it was kinda fun to treat an Italian fast casual chain. read more

Friendly staff and cute little place tucked between the tiny streets of venice. It offers a make your own pasta experience where you choose the noodles and sauces you want. Basic sauces like 4 cheese and bolognese are.6 euros and anything extra like.a duck or squid.sauce is between 7-8 euros. You can also get gnocchi as your pasta for 1 extra. The pasta comes served in a take out box and you can eat it standing up there at their shelves or take it to go. The place can vet quite busy but the staff always have a smiling face. They also have drinks.including wine and bellinis to go and a few desserts. I tried the gnocchi and bolgnoese. I knew ahead of time the gnocchi would be nothing to write home about but it was actually quite good for fast pasta. The sauce had a decent amount of meat to it I just wish it had more. read more

This place was amazing! The pasta was fresh and the sauces were great! They have take away for around 5-7 euros. 5 or so different types sauces and 5 or so types of pasta. Plus plenty other choices! The location on yelp is not right. Look at Google maps. It is by Campo S. Bortolomio Definitely stop here. I read that places in venice are hot and miss which is true, but HIT THIS IS! I haven't stopped talking about it all day. read more

This little gem is hidden in the tiny streets on the way to piazza. So glad that I stumbled upon this restaurant as I lost my directions. I tried 3 different pastas here in my two day stay in Venice. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I loved their Tagliatelle with carbonara, with pesto and with mushrooms & cream in that order. Really loved this place, heaven for veggie ppl. They serve some amazing wraps, pizza and pasta and salad. We tried the wraps and pasta first which were quick to come but really delicious. Even though we had special dietary requirements ( couple of ppl in our group did not eat garlic, which is the basis for most italian sauces), the owner took her time to kindly explain us our options and giving her suggestions on what works and what doesn't so that we wouldn't butcher the authentic recipes. The wraps were good, and the pasta were delicious. Especially the pesto sauce. We even had the pizza with tomato sauce and veggies. The place is right next to the ponte di rialto bridge, barely 100m walk, tucked away at the end of the road, but not too hard to find. read more

This was the most delicious pasta i had in Italy. My husband got the tagliatelle with carbonara sauce and I thoroughly enjoyed a fresh salad! After 2 days of carb overload, this salad was everything. The workers are so nice and everything is cooked fresh in front of you! Just note that there is no where to sit, but they do have a bar where you can eat standing. This is truly is a small hidden gem. read more

Delicious and convenient. You pick your pasta, sauce, and toppings, almost like a chipotle for pasta. Pros: They are open while many other places close between meals, the prices are affordable, it's extremely fast (they boil the pasta for just three minutes), the employees are friendly, and the pasta is well done. I found the pasta at their competitor (Dal Moro's Fresh Pasta To Go) a little too al dente, but We Love Italy's pasta was just right. There is no place to sit, but they have a little bit of standing room if you want to stay indoors. I went twice during my visit and wish I had one back home. read more

I've been to Venice 3 times and stop here every time. This is a great takeout place for pasta. You pick the type of pasta and the sauce and they cook it fresh in about 5 minutes. I always get the bolognese with the tagliatelle noodles. It's enough for 2 and costs 7 euros. Love it! Close to the Rialto Bridge read more

A box full of flavour The pasta was freshly made so as the sauce. The texture of the pasta was so chewy and lovely. The menu was simple and the service was fast. The staff was very bubbly and chatty. Sometimes you have to wait in a long queue, but it is worth it. I reckon to come in at around 3pm-4pm to avoid the queue. read more

I ordered the pesto with garlic and pecorino, and it was honestly one my favorite pastas I've had in Italy. My pasta came with rigatoni, which was perfectly al dente.

I was looking for some authentic pasta in Venice. Most restaurants are super pricey, and I wanted something more affordable. I came across this restaurant called "We Love Italy." First off, I really liked the name. As soon as I entered, the ambience was so welcoming, with strings of pasta as decorative pieces. Although it seemed like a takeout restaurant, there was accommodation for people to stand and eat their fresh hot pasta. The menu was very simple to understand and had an English translation, which I very much appreciated. I tried two types of pasta. The first one was pesto with fusilli. The turnaround time was five minutes, and the pasta was hot with a good quantity. They also had additional seasonings available. I added some extra garlic powder, oregano, and a dash of olive oil to enhance the flavors. It was fresh and authentic, packed with flavors. I also tried the Pomodoro sauce with fusilli pasta, and it was delicious as well. The server was very sweet and made sure I was comfortable. Overall, this was a great experience. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you're looking for authentic pasta at an affordable price.
