The only downside that I see is that it's a takeout or outdoor dining only, but the food is really good and it was ready in about 10 minutes. You can build your own Bowl or they serve Sandwiches, Mac & Cheese, Sandwiches, Salads, Sides and Desserts. They also offer Vegan Meatballs & Vegetarian options. You can take a box of their Bronze cut Pasta or a bottle of their Marinara home with you or order it online and have it delivered to you. I got A house favorite-- The Chicken Parmesan. It was a good portion size and I could tell it was freshly made. It was delicious. It has a Buttermilk fried Chicken breast atop their Spaghetti topped with house Marinara, Fresh Mozzarella and Fresh Basil. My wife got the Meatball sub with fresh handcut fries. The sandwich has hand rolled Beef Meatballs topped with house Marinara, Provolone, Mozzarella, Basil and Parmesan served in a fresh baked French Roll. This is a full size sub. It was about 8 or 10 inches. She gave it a 7 out of 10. She said she would get it again. It's worth stopping in and eating or getting some pasta and sauce to take home and make yourself.

I was completely impressed from the food, to the service, to the overall experience. We spent the several hours here laughing, dancing out the full pasta tummies and toasting to a good time. I really didn't expect to leave full after seeing the first few courses but I can safely say it was well worth the money because I left absolutely stuffed. What is really unique about this, compared to other coursed meals is they will box up anything you can't finish so you can take it home. I enjoyed most of the courses, especially the fresh made mozzarella, the creamy pasta and the donuts. The cocktails were great too but as you can imagine with many people ordering drinks at the same time, it took a little to get your drinks. Nothing wrong with this though! The head chef gave a lovely speech about how this restaurant came to be and the intent behind it which brought tears to my eyes. You can tell that there is huge level of care put into every aspect of this place and by the time you leave it feels like leaving your aunt and uncles place. So even if you don't love every dish or some of the dancing made you feel silly what you remember is how lovely the night was overall and what this place makes you feel. It was a very perfect all around and really fit the theme and intent for my birthday this year. For me this is more of a special occasion kind of place but I will certainly be back and will be telling friends to go.

My husband and I are both Celiac, and we received the entire menu prepared gf, which is unheard of for Italian!! The food was prepared separately and we got to take home the leftovers. Highlights include: gluten free focaccia, pasta, cannoli (which was stupid good) and a fried doughnut which nearly brought my husband to tears. Loved watching the Godfather and getting into the dancing, could barely walk on the way out. 10/10 will come again ASAP

I believe our server's name was John. The restaurant itself is beautiful and everyone was very friendly. We got quite a few things to share. We started with the grilled artichoke and foccacia bread with pesto which were both excellent. Really enjoyed the saltiness of the bread and the grilled warm lemon that they served with the artichoke. I would like to try the meatballs next. For our next dish, we got the Sunday lasagna. Really nice presentation and the noodles were so thin and fresh. The meat was so flavorful and delicious. We also got the pig pizza and spicy vodka rigatoni. The spicy vodka rigatoni was very spicy. Honestly, it was almost too spicy for me to eat much of it. My husband loved it though! I put some parmesan on mine but he felt he didn't need it. We also got the pig pizza which was delicious and flavorful as well. The salami on it definitely had some spicy kick to it though!

They definitely use special culinary skills to create all of their dishes so it takes a while for your food to come out. They do have a full bar and make special coffees too. Our server was great! I was able to coordinate the arrival of his flight to our reservation time, and it worked out perfectly! My son arrived just a few minutes before us. He followed us into the parking garage designated for the restaurant (free for 2 hours with validation). She was completely unaware as he walked up to her car door and tapped on the window. As you can imagine, she screamed with happiness! This was the start to our wonderful time at V Modern. It was busy for a Wednesday night. The music was loud as we walked in but nicely muted at our table (11) behind the bar. Our server Stef was engaging and attentive. While going over the menu, we spoke briefly about our visit to Nashville and our daughter finishing her Master's program. He mentioned that he had finished his studies as well. Happy congratulations all around! We started with the Focaccia Tartufata and Marinara Meatballs -- delicious! Save some of the bread to pick up all that tasty marinara! For our mains -- Black Truffle Pipette, Scampi Moderni and Lobster Ravioli. The pastas in all our dishes were perfectly sauced and al dente. Nice portions and lovely presentations. Dessert was festive with the Cannoli Concierge. A server arrived with a tray lit with sparklers. Each cannoli was then customized and prepared tableside. Our son opted for the gelato. As we finished, Stef let us know that the cannolis were complimentary in celebration of our daughter. :) Beautiful restaurant with upscale decor. Ample seating inside and outside. Excellent service. Just a minor note that it got a bit hot at one point during our dinner. As we looked around, other customers were fanning themselves. It seemed that the a/c may have turned off. But this did not take away from our overall experience. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Nashville!

V Modern Italian The…read morerestaurant itself is beautiful and "modern" designed as the name suggests. It is very well designed and definitely ~feels~ upscale. We started off with a big espresso martini tower. There were 12 drinks and they were strong, the only downside was the size was maybe 6-8oz and the price was pretty staggering at $150 but that is mostly for show, so to be expected. Next we got Meatballs as an appetizer. I would say there's nothing too special about these (which will be mirrored by most things later.) The meatballs tasted ~fine~, there wasn't anything special but also nothing off putting about it. For the main dishes I got the Black Truffle Pipette for $32. The dish came with braised short rib, but it was pretty disappointing with the portion of short rib. There were maybe 2 good bites of short rib in the entire dish. I also didn't get much of any black truffle taste, the pasta itself was somewhat bland in general. The next dish was Manicotta Della Casa for $23. This dish is hard to explain as it has a lot going on but essentially tastes like a pizza with all the toppings scraped off in a dish together with no crust. It wasn't bad by any means just a little interesting. Overall this was my second impression of the place, I haven't been impressed either time to be honest. I knew it was going to be like this due to the "tourist trap" energy it gives off. Don't get me wrong it's very fun, servers are good and lively, but I think the food just doesn't do it for me necessarily for the price point of the dishes. As one of my favorite food reviewers says "pasta should never be overpriced, it's a poor man's dish."
