    Chicken Cheese ravioli alfredo

Pasta Too never disappoints! One of my favorite things about dining here is that they're always willing to customize my meal. I created my own Chicken Cheese Ravioli Alfredo, and it was absolutely delicious. My kids can't get enough of the Penne a la Vodka, and my brother thoroughly enjoyed the steak calzone. The breadsticks are consistently fresh, warm, and incredibly tasty. Great food, accommodating staff, especially Tina - she gives us a wonderful dining experience every time!

The restaurant was busy, but service was still pretty bad. It took forever to get to go containers. We were told the stuffed breadsticks were coming a bit late. We didn't get them until after we'd finished eating a while ago. That's hit a bit late. That's late enough that we would have canceled them. The ambiance is still good and the food was delicious. The wedding soup wasn't very good. Not nearly as good as I remembered. Too much chicken too. Wish I hadn't placed an order for some to go before eating it. The manicotti was good. The veal parm gave both the people who got it good poisoning. So they had miserable days/nights for more than 24 hours. Definitely not going back any time soon.

Pasta Too occupies a nice space between Olive Garden and Arrlechino's & Alla Famiglia in both price and quality. In terms of the food, you get BIG portions here. I've had the chicken parmigiana and the lasagna. Both were very good. The chicken parmigiana wasn't pounded completely flat, but it was nearly the size of the plate. I would have preferred more cheese, but there was plenty of sauce. The lasagna was stacked at least 3-5 inches high and covered in sauce. I upgraded to the fettuccini alfredo was my side dish both times as it's my favorite pasta. The second time it was a little too creamy (too much sauce), but the noodles were well cooked. The bread service is just basic Italian bread, but you get unlimited refills. The service was excellent both times. There is a mom-and-pop feel to the level of attention you receive. Our drinks were kept full, and the wait staff boxed up any leftovers. In terms of price, expect to pay $15-$25 for an entrée. I think that it is very reasonable and honestly cheaper than Olive Garden. Being able to take a family of four here for under $100 is hard to find in 2025. On a scale of 1-5: Food - 4 Service - 5 Price - 5

Great food and good service. Love the Italian bread and oil. We went early to beat the rush.

Pasta Too GOOD - A winner because it hits all three keys for success - taste, quantity and price BAD - Nothing I can recall - if you don't come hungry, you could regret it (in a good way) With my 50% Italian roots, Iam very picky and discerning over Italian food. Who would have thought that some of best Italian I've had (short of Mom's cooking) in the last 10 years would be in the Pittsburgh Burbs. It's true, Pasta Too rose to the occasion. All my dishes were excellent. The creative stuffed breadsticks eat like giant Italian egg rolls. The spinach and cheese was divine. My gnocchi with vodka sauce was wonderful. The pasta was fork tender and the sauce, savory. The hummingbird cake (coconut and banana) was HUGE, densely moist and delicious. The slice could feed three people. My server was very nice and patient given the busy floor. Price is fair - not because it's cheap, it's moderate but the portions are SO BIG you leave with 2 or 3 more meals and that's where the price comes down. If you are in the Pittsburgh area and enjoy Italian, this place is a MUST.

Wow! I can't believe it's been so long since I had this! This place is 100% delicious, I can't wait to return. Started w some warm bread and spiced oil to dip in that is the best EVER! Then a house salad before the main course- and it was so yummy! The restaurant was packed on a Tuesday, we had a 15 minute wait for a seat, and the service was fantastic, fast, efficient, and spot on! Hands down one if the best dining experiences in a long time. Beautifully decorated, and clean restrooms. Don't hesitate to stop and try this out!

The Hawaiian cake that was the special on a recent dessert tray, it was a special occasion and we couldn't resist!

My family probably comes here a couple times a month; it's an excellent neighborhood standby for good Italian food at absolutely enormous portions. They do even the small things very well. For example, the bread is fresh baked, warm and soft when it gets to your table, and it arrives with a sundried tomato dip that is out of this world. They used to sell this in bottles but I haven't seen it available at the front of the shop recently. My family thinks their wedding soup is some of the best in the city, and their tossed salad is elevated with the addition of unexpected ingredients such as celery and peppers. Get the homemade Italian dressing. My only complaint here is that as a vegetarian, I have virtually no sauce options to choose from because they all start with some kind of meat base. Tomato sauce, vodka sauce, Alfredo sauce, everything is a no-go. Even the pizza sauce has this issue. Fortunately, my favorite thing here is the pillowy cheese ravioli and they will make it special with a garlic butter sauce that works for me. I know their sauces here are well-loved, enough so that they are stocked on the shelves at local grocers, but that makes me all the more confident that they could introduce a killer marinara and be more inclusive. How about it, Pasta Too? The menu is extensive, servers are efficient and knowledgeable, and there is a good sized dining area to move customers through when there is a wait. Although you will have a wait here weekend evenings, it usually isn't that long and they are very good at keeping things moving. Take some of your food to go (you're going to either way) and ask to see the dessert tray. It's a rotating selection of house-made options and there's always something worth the splurge.

Again and again my favorite restaurant in all of pittsburgh! Been going since I was a small kid and it's always the same - consistently amazing. Chicken parm is my favorite dish , I always get it with a side of ziti and a salad with home made blue cheese dressing. We tried the stuffed banana peppers for an app tonight and they were stellar! Also a first, got the spumoni ice cream for dessert and it was TO DIE FOR!!! Ps, if you are gluten free you can get chicken parm without the breading and a side of gluten free pasta. That's what I did tonight and I have to tell you, I can't wait to go back. Pss- the service is always incredible as well, Pam knocked it out of the park tonight. THANK YOU PASTA TOO!

My friend and I shared stuffed mushroom, lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs. The mushroom is delicious with plenty of crabmeat, the lasagna is filled with huge amount of cheese and meat. It took us one hour to come over here from downtown but the time is totally deserved considering the satisfactory portion of food.

Our server was quick to take our drink order and tell us about the specials. The menu has a nice variety of appetizers, salads, meat and pasta dishes. I settled on the lasagna which was a special and got the Manhattan clam chowder soup as it's something I rarely see on a menu. We were brought a basket of fresh Italian bread which was wonderful. The soup arrived and it wasn't what I expected. The broth was thin, very little clam and just very different than I have ever had. Not my favorite. My lasagna arrived looking great. I love sauce and there was lots of extra sauce on the plate. The biggest problem I had was that it was barely warm. Granted, the restaurant itself was very cold, but the food could have been hot which would have made it spectacular. Service was very good and atmosphere was pleasant.

There is a combination of four tops and booths in the main dining room and a bar and additional tables in another room. Service - Very Good. Our server was helpful and attentive. Food - Good. I ordered the soup of the day that the server described as being clam chowder with a tomato sauce. The soup had a nice flavor, but it was loaded tons of vegetables and little clams. For my entree was Veal Romano with a side of pasta. The pasta was very good! However the veal was covered by an incredible amount of breading and as a result was on the bland size. Overall Value - Good, not great. The prices a very reasonable and the portion sizes generous. Perhaps had I had ordered different items, I might find myself extolling the restaurant's virtues.
