    9 piece of deliciousness

The absolute Best little cake bites in the world! My daughter put me on them thru her pregnant best friend who has to have them like the next breath of air & I can definitely see why! I was gifted these for my birthday Absolutely delicious the only dilemma is choosing which flavor my top three are caramel strawberry cream & the turtle for now! I plan on trying them all! I highly recommend them to satisfy your cake craving & I'm not much of a cake person but my goodness these morsels are pieces of heaven

Birmingham has a lot going for it, and this is one of the best things we've contributed to the world: Baby Bites. I picked up 100 of these for a party and they went like crazy. Super moist with tons of different flavors they're the perfect one/two bite confections.

Cute little bite-sized cake bites! We got red velvet, caramel, and strawberry. They're really moist and stay good for a few days. I think I enjoyed the strawberry best but all were good!

Ain't nothing like good friends and a good bite of CAKE! Pastry Art this stuff here is good. Of course, you can't just eat one type! I enjoyed the the red velvet and caramel bites! Yum! Now, y'all know, I'll be back.

Great Pastry bakery with very welcoming owner and variety of great options of bite size frosted cakes. The frosting on the outside is amazing and the cake is moist. Vast variety options. This is a must stop and see bakery. The bite sized pastries allow for trying great variety.

Discovered this gem after having brunch at Big Bad Breakfast just a few steps away from across the street. There was a continuous flow of customers from the time we walked in until the time we finished taste testing outdoors. For me, the baby cake bites were prefect; not too sweet, not too bland, just enough icing and super moist. Those mini delectable treats were OH SOOOOO GOOD!!! I ordered 6 and kicked myself after leaving for not ordering more to take on the road with me. My favorites were the turtle, strawberry margarita and red velvet. I can't wait to return to try the lime and Italian Cream. Their menu varies by day so if there's a particular flavor that you love, plan accordingly and order enough because you can't eat just one! :)

We have been coming to Pastry Art since they opened many years ago. We always get a dozen of the baby bites. They come in a variety of flavors. Some are available everyday and some are daily specials. My favorites are red velvet, caramel, turtle, and both types of strawberry. Staff is always friendly. They have a several other options of baked goods but I've only tried the baby bites.

I was visiting Birmingham and a close friend raved about Pastry Art. The very next day I drove the 30 minute drive to try out these cake bites. The cake bites are delicious but the customer service from the lady that packaged my order made me decide that I would NOT return. GREAT product but customer service MUST improve.

"Instant Favorite" I couldn't wait to get on yelp to review this place! My manager bought everyone on the team a dozen of the Baby Bites and I just say "I will be back!" I had never heard of this pace until today, but I have my eye on about 15 other flavors! Here is what I had: Red Velvet | Caramel | Pink Strawberry | Chocolate Light and fluffy! Perfect balance of bread and icing! Amazingly moist! The Carmel was even more amazing. I'm usually not a fan of caramel flavored icing, but they got it right! Chocolate is a well balanced bitter and sweet. The strawberry is last but not least. This place is a must visit for everyone in BHam!!

Genuinely had a top 5 cortado here, the flavors are super unique - there seems to be some Asian influence to their flavors? Love that they use minor figures as well. I ordered an iced americano given it was a hot day around noon. I got my drink and went to add creamer and sweetener like I always do. And bam that's when I noticed this place was one of those we are going to force you to have what we believe is healthier for you. What do I mean. No Splenda no equal just that nasty truvia. I'm diabetic so I don't use sugar and truvia is just nasty. It tastes horrible and makes your drink taste horrible. Now mind you they will use all kinds of syrups with dyes and additives and sugars but nope not Splenda. That's bad for you. The 50 grams of sugar in a single vanilla latte is totally fine. We're ok with that even though that alone is over the recommended amount. But Splenda no we can't allow that. Will never be back.

They take absolute care and pride in everything--even the eggs were extra tasty and their breakfast sandwiches....yum. Most of the pastries are made with sourdough (except danishes, cookies, muffins). And they are top notch. Tender, buttery, flavorful, no skimping on anything. Just plain delicious. Bought more to save for afternoon coffee. The Friday offerings of challah, rye, and bagels are not sourdough but made with great care--even the bagels are made using tangzhong and cold proofed for 48 hours. Even those who do not emote about food and those carefully counting macros and calories in our family were impressed, vocal, and eagerly finishing off all of the offerings, sweet and savory. The space itself is beautiful--clean, intentional, and unique--with visual nods to milling and baking traditions. You can see elements of the mill and wheat motifs in the background, which adds a quiet sense of craftsmanship and history without feeling staged. The pastries are exceptional. Their croissants are perfectly flaky and buttery, the sourdough is deeply flavorful, and the morning buns strike that ideal balance of richness and warmth. The baguette is crisp on the outside, tender inside--everything you want it to be. Every item feels carefully made, never rushed. What stands out most is the consistency and care. Breadworks manages to feel elevated yet welcoming--refined without being pretentious. It's clear they take pride in both their craft and their process, and it shows in every bite. A true standout in Birmingham and absolutely worth returning to.
