So, Let me tell you it is tough making a decision on which one to get I chose four of them and the lady said that's great, You could try a little of each one and share them. I looked at her (and I said in my head lol I don't share.) and smiled. These are so good. They are soft their moist they have no preservative solvent taste like the ones you buy at your local store.. The lighting is so subtle but warm from overhead and the walk down consists of some of City Walk, the Barkery dog park, and tennis courts where many were busy inside of. Sure we could've gone to Costco, but this birthday was quite a landmark and we wanted something special. I live in Los Angeles, and I could only go by what I find online. I'm blown away by how most of the bakers and caterers I called around that area to make this special day just had no sense of decent customer service, like not returning calls, or saying "Sorry, we can't do that." But luckily this place actually got back to me. I placed the deposit, then when it came time to pay the balance they sent me a text but I was at a place with bad phone reception, so I asked if I could do it in an hour, and their response was, "Well we close at 7." I was on Pacific time so I had to do the math. Well, then why didn't they text me sooner?‍ Don't get me wrong, not all employees were like that. But the bad seeds kinda ruin it for the good employees. When I arrived to AL, we picked the cake up at the Hoover location. This store and pastries would make anyone's eyes light up, milkshakes that would make any jaw drop. Long story short, the cake was perfect!! And it was so delicious!!! We got a basic vanilla cake (to make all our guests happy) and when I put some in a ziplock and brought it back to LA, my boyfriend was licking the bag and he doesn't even like vanilla cake. So GREAT cake, exactly what I wanted, absolutely delicious!! But their customer service could use an attitude adjustment. read more

This place is in an odd area under the highway overpass (which seemed like it was under construction forever during my previous visits to the area). The ice cream is blue bell brand, and the cakes are many. I waited in line (the area was crowded) and took the fanciest one, which was a cupcake with what seemed like cheesecake on top. I have been telling my husband about the Ultimate Sundaes at this place since my coworker shared his daughter's blog post several years ago. We were going to try to visit the location in Alabaster, but never made the opportunity. So when the location in Ross Bridge opened, we were super excited. My husband went to pick up a Strawberry Shortcake Ultimate Sundae. He walked in and was greeted by a friendly woman who let him know that the sundae would not be in the mason jar, since we were getting it to go. They grabbed a plastic to-go box and began filling it up. They added two warm slices of pound cake, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a scoop of strawberry ice cream, and then topped it with chunks of pound cake and freeze dried strawberry pieces. It filled up the entire box!! We got it home and had dinner first. Then we dug right in. It was definitely enough for two people to enjoy. The flavor was incredible, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We are going back to try the other two Ultimate Sundaes, but we will pace ourselves because it's a LOT of sweet goodness!! Try it for yourself - you will NOT be disappointed!! read more

I visited the Ross Bridge location today. The facility is beautifully decorated. The business is very easy to get to. There is shared community parking so you may have a little walk depending. There were at least 12 cupcake flavors to choose from. All of your favorites plus creative cupcakes, like strawberry, lemon, and banoffee. the staff was very friendly. I've seen K&J's creative sundae's and will try them soon... This review is of their food truck "Pinky" which I had the pleasure of purchasing some of their cupcakes while in the 5 Pts West area. They have so many selections, so it took me a minute to decide. I narrowed it down to the red velvet w cookies and cream topping, strawberry and key lime. All were delicious but the key lime was my favorite. This is definitely a flavor I will choose in my next purchase. They also have a store front in Alabaster.
