Very pleased and highly recommend. Pablo and his partner hit a home run with painting my house exterior. Finished in two days, double spray coat and back rolled, house hadn't been painted since new in 2005 and quite frankly it now looks just like new again. The guys were prompt, courteous, professional, clean and detail oriented, very systematic in moving through the steps in prep to caulking and painting. Awesome job at a very reasonable, fair price, way better than any other company. I'd use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend. Good people! This is the second time we've used Pat Hickey's Painting services. We needed some wooden shutters painted because they had yellowed over the years. We were given a fair quote for the price of the painting and Jon sent over his cabinet painter Johnny and his assistant. They did a beautiful job on the shutters and they now look as if they are brand new. The work they did on the shutters as well as the window casings involved a great amount of attention to detail. The painters were meticulous with their work. Johnny and his assistant were thoughful, respectful, always arrived on time. They were personable and cleaned up well after the work was finished. I wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude to Salvador and his team on a job well done! When I purchased my home in 2017, it was a green beast and I have no idea how long it had been since it was painted. There was exposed wood in the eves and fascia board and the aluminum siding was oxidized and faded green. Had a paint job in my office that was relatively small. The company we had lined up fell through so we called in. When we told the guy our time line he laughed, but reluctantly agreed to come do a quote. He showed up late the the apt, didn't measure anything, asked two questions both of which were very sarcastic, and then took my business card to send a quote. Pat Hickey Painting just completed painting my home and my rental home next door. I can not explain what a great job they did. Every detail was perfect, I would highly recommend them to anyone considering getting their home painter. Another larger home (2 story) 5 doors down was being painted by someone else, and they finished a day sooner than Hickey did, and I didn't see any of the detail work (back-rolling, etc.) that Hickey did. We had Pat Hickey Painting do the trim in our house in Carson City. They were on time, on budget, cleaned up after themselves and best of all they did a great job. Our house looks better that it did 3+ years ago when we bought it. Never got to see his work. Called his office and spoke with a lady named Shin Hickey. Set up an appointment for the next day at 10 am. We live about 30 miles from town, about 25 miles out Red Rock road. I gave her the directions to the house and made sure there were no surprises. The next day she called and left me a message saying she didn't realize how far out of the area it was. Her estimator didn't have the time to go today and maybe we could find someone else and good luck. I scheduled my time to be there, all for nothing! Quality and reliability are paramount with me. My house is 18 years old and needed re-painting. I contacted three companies for estimates. Pat Hickey Painting quoted what I needed done and they were able to schedule work 4 weeks later. I scheduled an estimate to look at a job he came and left and never sent estimate. I called office and had to ask for it ( this should have stopped me in my tracks). Received estimate and being cost conscious I scheduled them after comparing companies. They gave no instructions to prep just time they would arrive, painter wore no mask, painters truck dripped oil all over driveway, replaced several cabinet doors to wrong position, sprayed my dishwasher edges and under counter trim.Then just this week as I was replacing drawer pulls I discovered he put fronts on drawers incorrectly and the previously drilled holes did not match up. I had to remove them and turn to correct position and some seams of paint didn't match up. The biggest thing I did not like about this whole process is that the painting was done very poorly and I'm not sure it's going to hold up. I already see pant chipping and pulling off . This was not a professional job and should have been followed up on with manager. Disappointing read more

We engaged Pat Hickey Painting recently for some interior painting. Someone came to the house to take measurements and discuss the scope of work, paint to be used, etc. We scheduled a day and time for work to begin. On the scheduled day, the painter called about an hour after he was supposed to start work and stated that he had to pick up the paint and how much paint would it take and if I had the color. Obviously, the information obtained from the prior visit did not trickle down to the assigned painter. The painter also had other assignments that he would leave the house to work on. On one occasion, he left to buy more paint (he didn't buy a sufficient quantity on his first trip to the paint store)--this took about 2 hours. Due to apparent multiple work assignments and some poor time management skills, the job dragged well beyond the expected time to complete. On a positive note, the quality of the work was good. If considering using this company, stipulate that a schedule be kept. Lastly, I feel Mr. Hickey should pay a little more attention to the company that bears his name. read more
