They covered everything! They hung plastic from floor to ceiling to make sure no texture got on anything it wasn't intended for. Not only did they take this precaution before the texture, they took it all down and redid it for the primer and the final paint coats. Just above and beyond my expectations! I called 4 other contractors and NONE of them had an issue coming to inspect the house while I was at work and called if they had any questions. Battleborn Refused to do that and made an appointment for a Saturday when I would be home. Their office person has NO people skills and I'm sure this business loses more jobs just with her attitude on the phone. This company demands you schedule for their convenience, not the customer. Miss attitude sets everything up and I get a text 2 days before my appointment and she has the address wrong. I reply to the email, and the text messages and get NO RESPONSE. So today, I call and Miss personality, who is so rude and condescending, informs me she did receive my replies and has corrected the address. I inquire why she did not respond and she gave me more attitude. I asked to have the owner contact me please and she hung up on me. A few minutes later I received a text with the following messages: (Attached Below) DEAR MR. WILLAM M. REYES, OWNER OF BATTLE BORN PAINTING: When you lose business before you have the opportunity to present a bid, your company is failing. How many other potential $8k house painting projects have you lost this year? My guess? At minimum, 1 per week. Do the math, 52 weeks = $416,000.00 in revenue "Minimum". I would bet it's at least 3 times that based on the disrespect and rudeness I experienced. You are losing over $1.2 Million in sales because your staff treats your potential new customers poorly. The 1st point of contact from your company should be a display of professionalism and give your potential new customer a positive experience that they made the right decision to call you in the first place. 2nd - ZERO tolerance for any employee to disrespect YOUR customer. It's YOUR company sir, you allow this behavior and it is unacceptable. This is also a very small community and now your reputation has been rated as "Call Somebody Else". Julio was the first to answer my request for a quote, and the first to schedule an appointment to see the house. He showed up on time, and I was impressed that as the owner of the business, Julio arrived instead of sending an employee. He told me when he would email me a quote after our meeting, and he sent the quote when he said he would. This is why I chose Julio's Painting beyond his quote, which was reasonable and within my budget. Julio followed through on what he said he would do, which is very important to me in business and in life. My house was initially a garish bright blue, as if the Smurfs had relocated to Northwest Reno. This project was more than a paint job, it was an aesthetic intervention. Within a week from the day that I requested a quote, Julio and José began the process of giving my place a much needed upgrade...to my relief and to that of my neighbors, who stopped by to compliment the evolving exterior facelift of the property. The job would have taken no more than three or four days, but Reno experienced half a week of pouring rain. I wouldn't have asked them to show up on a holiday, but they came by on Labor Day to make up for the lost time caused by the downpour.
