I brought my vehicle in for a few issues and asked for quote of labor plus parts cost. Alan was unable to provide a neat, organized quote and could only send me total prices via text. Kept trying to upsell me on aftermarket parts when I wanted to put in OEM parts. Was upset that I ordered OEM replacements to the shop (after he authorized me to do so) because his part prices were higher. Ended up performing some work that I had not authorized. Also charged me extra costs associated with the work he was supposed to do that was not discussed when I had asked him prices earlier. Had a mental breakdown when I questioned him on the new charges. He personally insulted me (calling me poor, saying I was stealing from his small business, attacking his business, i.e. trying to guilt trip me into giving him money). Yelled at me because I questioned him on why my bill was ~$300 more than he quoted me. He took a minor professional disagreement as a personal grievance and I did not like the way I was treated at all. Very immature for someone of his age. On top of this, the shop is only open during the week and Alan is frequently unreachable during the time the shop is claimed to be open. I would highly recommend going elsewhere if you are not knowledgeable, Alan will try to take advantage of you, upsell you on parts you don't need, and then attack you when he doesn't get his way. This man was very friendly on the surface but showed his true colors, do not let him fool you!
