Writing an update to my previous review from 2020! After nearly 5 years of going to Adams, we've been able to also get their help with tune-ups, oil changes, and another round of tires. I plan on returning for an alignment on my car and new tires for my wife once hers need to be replaced in the coming months. Their pricing beats every auto repair chain in the area. Their service is always quick and their staff is always friendly, especially their mechanic. A little, possibly already-known, hack you can do is to take the diagnostics report that your auto repair shop chain creates for you after performing a service and bring it to Adams to see if their mechanic is able to help you with the repairs. They'll more than likely have to order the parts and you'll need to return again once they arrive but I can almost guarantee you the pricing will beat the big name auto repair shops. read more

Adam's Tires has done it again! I implore you to also read my husband Michael C's extensive review, but if you are looking for a mechanic that is quick, reliable, and won't try to price gouge you -- Adam's is the answer! A friend of mine recommended Adam's a few years back during the pandemic when I desperately needed new affordable tires for my car. After getting multiple crazy quotes from other places, Adam came to my rescue. We've been taking our vehicles to Adam's for all of our car problems and mechanical needs ever since. When I thought my A/C broke and another popular auto care store told me it was going to cost $1,200 to fix, I took it to Adam's instead and come to find out I just needed my freon recharged which they took care of right away and only charged us $40. Most recently, my brake switch broke, causing my brake lights to stay on indefinitely unless I completely disconnected the car battery. I found the little brake switch stopper crumbled on my floor mat and after watching some YouTube videos, I was able to diagnose the problem. We contacted Adam's to get a quote to fix it and it ended up only being $60 and they did it that same day. I'm so grateful that we found a local trustworthy mechanic in Orlando! read more

I needed four motor mounts and the best price the Dodge dealer would give me was $1900. I talked with Mr. Barry who has done work on our cars before. I bought the parts and he installed them. I got a flat and put a spare on it, called a day early if they did patching and they said they did and accepted walk ins. I came in the next day, I wanted to see if I could patch it or if I needed a new tire. The owner came and helped me get out my tire from the trunk they said they would see if it could be patched up (10 minutes later) one of the workers called me over and said he patched it already and if I could pull my car up and he installed it for me in less than 10 minutes. I'm not from this area so I was so thankful that is was able to be patched and they were honest and it all took less than 25 minutes for everything, Great people and price total was 20 bucks! Somehow, I made it all the way to work with a completely torn tire. With me being a female on my lunch break, I decided to swap out my tire for my spare. Not knowing that my spare had barely any air in it. I made it to the closest tire place Nearby that was closing within 30 minutes; or so I thought. I barely made it to begin with. Apparently that place decided to close early. I then tried to add air in the spare at the 7-Eleven nearby. of course those air machines never work. by the grace of God, I made it another 11 minutes to a tire place that was closing within 10 minutes. They were happy to take me. I am so grateful for them taking me on short notice. I know how I feel at the end of the day, and that customer walks in last minute or that patient decides to come to their appointment late and we are still required to take them. But these guys went above and beyond to not only look at my bad tire, but they actually looked at all my other tires on top of it. This was great customer service! My first time dealing with a flat. Someone put the donut on for me and I arrived as a walk-in on a Friday morning with the nail in the center of the tread sitting in the trunk. My car needed new brakes and tune up when i got it about 4 years ago I have a Hyundai 2011 Accent car, Barry has been my and my family mechanic for over 10 years he is honest old school and does the job right the first time. He has fix my sisters very old car for free on almost very low cost reliving it over and over. He lets me know what is not worth fixing I had my ac compressor part needs replacement but told me just to bang it softly and wow it works so far its been 4 years and I never had to replace it since he told me the car is a bit old and this is not worth fixing yet, only needs to add freon every 2 years and gently tap on it since its at the bottom of the passenger side compartment. He actually shows me what I need explains it in simple terms shows me the old part such as spark plugs or brake pads and as I buy the part at autozone charges me low price for labor between $70-$100. I have paid for major work with him. He is honest and the tires they gave me last so long. This shop is good and I am still satifsfied with the owner and Barry. read more

So I checked this place out when I noticed my tire was leaking nitrogen. There are actually several tire places on this stretch of road, and I was told about this one from a shop that was full for the next couple of days. Now, the place is simple. You will not find a nice, super clean waiting room. However, you will find solid, quick service here. It olnly took about 20 minutes for them to take the nail out, and for $10, which is about standard. I needed a new tire this weekend and was shopping around, trying to find a place that won't rip me off and break the bank. When I called Adams, the initial price quoted for one new tire was shockingly low compared to the other local shops. The gentleman on the phone mentioned that the price would be higher if I wanted to go up in quality, of course. When I mentioned that I just need a tire that will work for a few more weeks (I'm shopping for other cars now), he told me that he could also set me up with a good used tire. Awesome! I love love love this place! I swear I have thee worst luck when it comes to hitting curbs, pot holes and running over nails! You name it, it causes a flat tire! I am so happy I found this place! It's a privately owned shop so there are always super friendly and take care of their customers. I always call ahead of time to make sure they have the tire that I need.
