Been here a dozen and a half times for parties and a chill day. Food/Drink: the food is traditional bowling Alley, food, pizza, chicken fingers, french fries, and the lot. Overall, it is decent food and that's what you expect. Lanes: lanes are relatively taken care of. Some of them have the right amount of oil, and some don't. Balls: The house balls are relatively taken care of and the shoes aren't terrible. I bring my own stuff, but my family has used all those items. Dinning Area: None. Prices: comparable to most other bowling alleys. Went there with my two kids and wife spent $36.03 games no shoes. Parking: Plenty of space, side and back private lots. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and decent in size. Small locker room attached. Atmosphere: overall a little dark, but fun atmosphere. Wintertime is usually more dead, then the spring and summer, although league nights get crazy. Bar: like I said, in my last review, I don't really drink or smoke, but my friends that hang out here for the night really enjoy the atmosphere inside the bar the drinks are pretty cheap as well. Staff/Attendants: been going here for years, and the staff has always been pretty nice and professional. Never really had a problem with any of them and some of my kids friends have grown up to work there. It's more of a local watering hole and cheap fun spot for the locals than anything else. Called a few minutes ahead to make sure there were open lanes. They said there were and there was no need to reserve in advance so we can just come in. When we arrived and they saw that we were Jewish, they told us we can't bowl and need to leave the property or they'll call the police for trespassing. Terrible customer service. Terrible people. All of the employees I have interacted with are pleasant and professional. I have only been there for tournaments and also open bowling. I have had a hamburger there and a warm chocolate chip cookie. Food was fine. Simple and typical bowling alley food. The lanes and approaches are cared for and always have been in good shape when I am there. I don't go there at night or weekends. (so I cannot speak to those conditions) I wish it was closer to me. I'm a half hour away or I would be doing my league bowling there, too. read more

A Newburg based bowling alley refused service to a number of Orthodox Jewish families on Thursday afternoon. This was less than 24 hours after the governor's controversial speech and draconian measures limiting synagogue services to ten people per synagogue in what he termed "red zones." Approximately twenty un-related and un-connected families tried to go bowling when rain forced them to change their Chol HaMoed plans. Slightly after 2:15PM near Newburgh, NY, it began to rain. One family related their version of what had transpired: "We had planned a hike for today, when we got to the jump off point of the hike it started to raining," the father in one group reported. They called a nearby bowling alley called Pat Tarsio Lanes at about 2:30 PM and were told that there were plenty of lanes open and that they should come down. They arrived between 3:00 and 3:15. The bowling alley is located at 173 South Plank Road (Rt. 52) in Newburgh. According to the family, when they arrived and staff members saw that they were orthodox Jews, they were refused lanes. "There must have been twenty families. Every single person was wearing a mask, and we were socially distancing," the father said. Upon their arrival at Pat Tarsio Lanes, the family met some Hasidic families who warned them what would happen. "They will tell you that lanes are not available because they have leagues at 5:00 PM. We also called beforehand, and were told to come down and that there were plenty of lanes. "If the facts of what is alleged are true, it would be very troubling if this bowling alley was discriminating against Orthodox Jews who merely wished to bowl. This calls for an explanation by the owners as to why they were initially given permission to come and refused later on," remarked Charles Miller, a New York City-based attorney. This place of business is ran insufficiently. As regards to how the customers are treated, mind you customers who are the heart and soul of small business in America, my friends and I were treated in a unprofessional , condescending and ultimately disrespectful manner. We were lied to, deceived and left with some our belongings being taken by the head employee who claimed it would be returned but continued to lie and steal our belongings. Now what type of example does that set on your subordinates as a manager? My party and I felt unwelcome. We asked for a refund after being there for 5 minutes and haven't played a game because of how uncomfortable we felt but we're refused one with a simple excuse of, "not my problem". If I could give them less than 1 star I would Bunch of animals working here,they claim they have lanes available over the phone then we walk in and they claim they aren't available when there are plenty available and leagues aren't for another few hours,liars!! Came here expecting a good night and got anything but. The bald bouncer who desperately tries to cover his baldness with a baseball cap, was on a huge power trip, being extremely rude and entitled to me & my friends after we waited in a 20 minute line. Once we finally sat down, we saw multiple ants and cockroaches crawling on the floor near our lane and under our seats, the bowling shoes were disgusting and smelled grotesque, and that bald man kept coming and harassing us. Absolutely horrible time, especially if your Jewish, my friend had his yarmulke on, and the bald man kept eyeing him up and down and even spat at him on his way out. DO NOT COME HERE! read more

Took the kids here on a Saturday afternoon, it was our 3yo daughter's first time bowling. They had lanes open and we were rolling within minutes. We played a game with bumpers and a push-ramp thing she could use, then played in the arcade. We all had a great time for $15 bucks total. Staff was very friendly and helpful. What a bargain, this is our new bowling spot and we will be back soon! read more

The illiterate want to be "bouncer" almost denied 2 customers service because he thought their NEW YORK STATE LICENSES were fake based off him inspecting the IDs with his own I phone flashlight...this is a BOWLING ALLEY...not a club. I honestly regret not leaving after my friends almost got denied because the incompetent bald, bouncer truly believed the IDs were fake....if it's that big of a deal get a SCANNER (also who would try and use a fake NY state license in NY?!!). This place of work is absolutely disgusting inside and out. Even when you use the keyboards to type in players into the game there is a film of dirt and grime residue left on your fingers...IT EVEN CAME UP ON THE BLACK LIGHT....ewwww. We tried to get a refund because we didn't even start the game but the disrespectful bouncer refused and replied back with the "not my problem". The wanna be bouncer then later on throughout the night came up very sneaky behind my friend and was standing directly behind her leaving her with absolutely no personal space, after startling her and invading her personal space, he had the audacity to very disrespectfully ask her to move out of his way. I can't comprehend why he had to come so close to my friend like a pervert when he had the entire bowling alley to walk around in. We left shortly after because my friend felt very uneasy and uncomfortable after the encounter. OMG....we got here on Saturday night. I planned to order a pizza and wings until I saw the young lady working in the restaurant section go into a freezer, grab a few wings, place them on a dingy white refrigerator, turn around and pick them up with her hands, and then throw them on a tray to be cooked and served. So then I called next door to Eddie's pizza where the owner of the bowling alley restaurant works. He tells me his employees don't have to wear gloves while working and that nothing she did was wrong. You gotta be freaking kidding me. Don't ever eat here!!! read more

My daughter had a fun filled day for her birthday and we ended at Pat Tarsios in Newburgh. Not only were the young men behind the counter friendly, the had a secret lighter ball stash, lol! The wings were awesome and I thank the crew at Tarsios for helping us have a great time! read more

Was good for family bowling but when we got there the lady said it was $3 for the lane and $2 for shoes. When we were checking out, it was $3 per person. The older lady at the counter next time needs to have right information and needs to know the business. read more
