I am camping in PCB and I searched Food on Apple Maps, this place popped up, (it was the closest) I came in the restaurant and ordered my food, not to be rude or a little spoiled if you think about it that way, but I think a 35 minute wait for some fries, chicken, and a burger is a little to long, I was disappointed by the wait, I was hoping the food would redeem the wait, the fries were great, the chicken was a little to crunchy but ok, and the burger was good nothing bad to say. My parents ate some wings, salad, and some sweet fries, my mother called it excellent, (obviously) because they are award winning, overall I guess you could say it redeemed the wait. This pub was packed at 2pm on a Friday. A local told us that this was the best place in the area. "Close your eyes and point to anything on the menu, it'll be good." The staff were super friendly and the food and drinks hit the spot. Live music every day, happy hour 3-6pm. On our way back to Tallahassee, tha Wife and I had a taste for variety and simplicity. Patches delivered on both accounts. It's a pub and it feels like one. Laid-back, comfortable and good vibes. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. They even turned the fan away that was partially blowing at us, ensuring there wasn't too much air on our 5 month old. Parental points for Patches! (Peep that alliteration. lol) The beer was cold and they have a plethora on tap, along with a myriad of other alcoholic beverages so everyone in your party who's drinking should windup fulfilled. The food was just as pleasing. So much so that we just started digging in before I could snap pictures. We had wings, pizza, burgers and fries. All of 'em were gratifying. The pizza wasn't much to look at.......it seemed like a glorified Totino's frozen joint......but don't let its appearance fool you. That thang was delicious. Now that COVID seems to be calming down, we'll get back on the road more. And on our Panama City trips, Patches Pub & Grill will be added to the itinerary. read more

Let me just you need to try this place! The minute me, my boyfriend and another couple walked in we felt like we were part of the family. The staff were amazing and the most friendly! We had the smoked ahi tuna dip, the pork rinds and pizza. The food and drinks are really good! And we got to sit outside and listen to a band while we ate and drink. Patches was absolutely wonderful in all the ways! You seat yourself upon entering & menus are already on the table. Server got with us within two minutes cleaned off our table so we could get our two kids set up; football games playing on all the screens while she explained the menu. Patches offers a daily food item each day plus famous burgers which is what my husband & I enjoyed; the Old McDonald Burger along with a side of sweet potato fries & spouse ate the build your own burger with French fries. I failed to get pictures of the kids meals, but one enjoyed chickens tenders with fries & the other a cheese quesadilla with fries. read more

This place is straight up legit. I had the ahi tuna tacos and a Bloody Mary. Evidently they just just won an award for best Bloody Mary. I got the ahi tuna tacos, the sauce on this is wonderful! Portion sizes are huge-comes with rice and beans which could be its own meal. The bartender was on her game and served a lot of people at once. Nice beach bar, pretty good food. We had tuna dip, salad, shrimp tacos. and grouper sandwich. All solid and tasty. The only thing about this place is it's very disorganized and service is only fair, mostly due to the big crowds I guess. Good value for money. read more

This is my step dads favorite place, he is a regular, so naturally he brought us when we visited. It is a dive bar that has indoor and outdoor seating. I didn't check out the indoor part both times I was there but the outside had plenty of first come first serve tables available. Both times we went they were pretty busy. There are all ages of people which was awesome. Service is great! The waitresses are so kind and friendly! They have live music, not sure on the days or times but when we went it was later in the afternoon. The vibe is so chill and relaxed, feel free to wear your beach attire. The beach is close by. Dogs are allowed to dine outdoors as well. The drinks are great, my step dad loves the beer and we all loved the food. We had the pizza, chicken tenders, fries, pretzel, and a salad. All was delicious. I definitely plan on returning when I visit again. This place is also toddler and kid friendly! Bathrooms were clean! Parking is free. Masks are not required. read more

Went to a Patches over the holiday weekend and had a great time. There are so many tourist traps on PCB, which we did not want to go to. Patches is definitely not that! The inside bar is so cool, and the wall decor tells stories of the many who stopped by over the years. We enjoyed the live entertainment and the food was great as well. Our server took great care of us and the drinks were good too. We will see y'all again next time we come to town. read more

This restaurant was right behind our condo during our stay in PCB. The night we arrived we heard the live music and decided to pay them a visit. We went on Friday night for dinner and on Saturday we did a to-go order of the Bread Pudding. We really enjoyed the live music but didn't like the feeling of having to hawk for a table outside. Our waiter Frank was also not friendly at all and it actually got to the point where we didn't want to ask him for anything. Not the way we wanted to finish a long day on the road to PCB. Patches has a local hangout feel to it. We ate outside and enjoyed the one man band. He was loud enough that we could lip sing along with the music while hearing the conversation at our table. We had the chorizo burger special, and the blackened grouper sandwich they were pretty damn good. The star of the meal was the homemade bread pudding!!! We've been here so many times. You can never go wrong with food, drinks, and fun at Patches. We love their pizza, wings, sandwiches, ambiance, and excellent drinks. It's hard finding a spot to sit both inside or out, and difficult finding parking, but over time you will get to partner up with someone's table, or just wait it out. Uber or bicycle over if you can. The clientele is very friendly and most are from all over, not just local. People want to meet new people so don't be shy if you see a table with empty seats. It's well worth it. read more

We have always LOVED Patches through the years. always our first stop when we arrive, a few meals through the week and our final dinner before departing. Things have changed, please check your bill before heading out. We ordered the $12 large 1 topping pizza and beer pitcher (plus other items) asked for the included beers and the server didn't know. We asked if 30A was included, and the response was, "yes, we have 30A!" We found the error after we left, and contacted Patches, were told 30A wasn't included in the special and were told they would do a better job of training their servers. We were charged $17.67 for the pitcher, and $14.54 for cheese pizza plus $2.34 for the pepperoni adder. So disappointed to see the change in Patches. I'm not sure what has changed, but I'll miss going to Patches. Lesson learned. We have a ton of FB posts from the past, tons of memories at this place. Added: Just not the same customer service as before. Regardless of "customer training" it should've been made right. We have been loyal customers over many years. Plus, appetizers came out last. Brought out everyone's food except mine and my husband's. Had to ask for it. Then remind about the appetizer. Hard to get the server's attention. I understand being short staffed. Finally, a divey bar in PCB that has full game day capability (12+ HDTVs) and really good bar food, great daily specials, and incredibly reasonable drink prices. A 10" pizza and a pitcher of beer all for ten bucks on NFL Sunday? Hell yes let's do it! No wonder this place was completely packed when we walked in. What drew me here were the Yelp pictures of the burgers and the elusive square-cut ("party cut") cracker-thin-crust pizza I grew up eating in the Midwest. And not only do they specialize in this pizza style, Patches Pub even makes a TACO PIZZA! One of my favorite varieties of the party cut is the taco pizza, a.k.a. "tostada pizza" where I grew up. Patches version is perfect. An absolute must-order item if you can find a seat here. Fantastic and friendly waitstaff is icing on this already great cake. Thanks to our smiley server Gina for making contact within 30 seconds of being seated at the community table, and for making us feel right at home among the locals. 4 of us sat inside at 5pm on a Sunday & it took 15 minutes to be acknowledged that we were there. Waitress said she was the only one working inside, which we said no problem as all tables were not occupied. She took our drink orders & it took 3 trips to bring 4 drinks. She then took our food order w/o writing anything down, which made all of us nervous. Upon waiting 30 minutes a hamburger comes out missing ALL the condiments. Then 15 minutes later cold cheese curds come out. Then 45 minutes later 1 order of fries come out to the wrong table...then we get our order along with asking for a refill of coke that she took the cup from 10 minutes prior. 25 minutes later 1 order of boneless wings. Then when everyone else was done eating my 6 piece bone in wings come out with the wrong sauce...at room temperature. At this point I just ate it I was starving. So basically there was 4 of us at the table but at any given time 3 of us was watching 1 person eat the entire time. Also during all this other tables had arrived, eaten & left before we had gotten even half our tables food & others that had arrived were waiting like we were, waiting to be acknowledged. Then it took about another 15 minutes to get the check because she said they ran out of receipt paper & had to change it out. I've always been a big fan of Patches over many years but this would be an embarrassment for me to ever recommend anyone to go to. read more
