This is a great dive bar with delicious eats. The staff are friendly and attentive and there is a karaoke DJ there as early as 6 pm, so it's a good option if you are looking for entertainment before going out at night or just to eat. So at least that is some flavor but I prefer the taste of gyro meat than straight onions in a pita. Fries were stone cold. They didn't include any ketchup. Fine portions but no taste to anything. Very odd. Maybe they are just good at hot dogs, prob should have listened to my gut when I see they are a hot dog place but also offer Mexican, Greek, etc food they prob are only good at one thing. Our waiter messed our checks up twice and was mad that we asked her to fix it. Me and the other guy I was with both juts had a beer, a hot dog, and a side. I work in customer service and can tell when someone's having a bad day and just has a genuine bad attitude...and our waitress was the latter. The staff was nice and the vibe would have been ok if it had been my husband and I just coming to a bar but we brought our kids and the amount of food for the price was lacking. Shore Dogs has my vote as the BEST dog friendly restaurant there is. We came up from Tampa on a impromptu trip for the 4th of July Holiday with our two large dogs. We are eternally grateful they let us bring them in the building as they has been out in the heat all day and being able to lay on the cool tile floor was a godsend. My family and I usually try to only support local businesses if we eat out. We hadn't been to Shore Dogs recently and stopped in for dinner. As a local and previous server, I'm disappointed in the service and food. Our server seemed miserable and we were her only table at the moment. After being greeted with a "what did you guys want to drink?" she gave attitude when asked if Yuengling was on draft then, spilled some of a drink on us. We order our food and an appetizer. About 15 minutes goes by without swinging past us and the server comes out with our food. I asked if the app was still coming out and she said she "yes..I didn't put it in" and walked away as the words left her mouth, not asking if we still wanted it or apologizing for the inconvenience. She returned a few minutes later with the appetizer and said nothing. A random lady (not an employee) was sent to check on us about 10 minutes later and said "your server is doing stuff and wanted me to make sure you were fine" I understand people have "off days" or could be new, but this service was horrendous. The service was the worst, but the food was poorly made. Fries were definitely sitting under a heat lamp for some time and the German Shepard brat was gross.
