Fixed my small plumbing needs that most plumbers would not want to fix.John Is the most knowledgeable plumber I have ever met and I'm very glad that I was told by a friend to use him. John also checked my water pressure and found out it was way to high, that the contractor who built my house put the pressure value in the wrong place so my water pressure was too high on one side and too low on the other side so he will be fixing that asap. We are going to remodel the bathrooms and the kitchen when the water PSI is fixed and John will most definitely be doing the plumbing. At long last I have experienced what can be described as "outstanding customer service" I thought that categorization had left the planet until I met John.Although he spent considerably more time than expected he charged exactly what his estimate stated.John is the personification of "he says what he does & does what he says". One of the two jobs involved replacing a kitchen faucet which turned into a challenge--he kept saying I'm not leaving till you are 100% satisfied.We were 100% pleased and again paid the estimated price. I had purchased an Angie's Big Deal for a hot water heater inspection through Pathmaker Plumbing a few weeks ago. John came and checked out the water heater and other things in our home where we had a few problems. While John looked things over he was good about explaining everything to me and was a very professional guy. We needed a new water heater and John came and installed it today. We moved into a 50-yr old house and on doing the first load of laundry, had a mini flood in the laundry room. John was called to fix the problem and since he was highly recommended by a trusted friend, we asked for a full diagnostic of the plumbing lines. Well he did a great job of explaining where there were potential and actual flaws in the system. There was never any pushy selling of services. On our own, we made the decision to go with a tankless water heater and to have some piping upgrades. John did a great job, took pictures of the piping under the crawlspace and answered all our questions so that we could make an informed decision about repairs or replacement. I had issue with new shower completed by another contractor that trim was popping away from shower wall. I had another plumbing company come to assess and give estimate, which was to tear wall out and replace all pipes in the wall for $2000. I wanted a second opinion and called Pathmaker Plumbing. The owner was responsive and sent Rick out. Rick was very knowledgeable and gave me options of attempting to fix without tearing wall down, with risk this may work long term and may fail or to break into wall to fix. John was sent to me by the home warranty people, and I am very grateful they did. I had some flooring installed, and the installers had no idea what they were doing when it came to putting the toilet back in place. John came in like Mighty Mouse, and saved the day! He is an expert plumber, and he was able to fix the problem. The home warranty would not cover the expense, since it was due to someone else's mistake, but john gave me a fair price. Had 2 failing hot water heaters. John scheduled us for first thing the next morning and called when he was on the way. He gave us replacement options and replaced our units with higher quality ones the same day. He also explained what we can do to greatly extend the life of the new hot water heaters. He was professional and showed great expertise in his work. We used him before for a chronic plumbing problem, a clogged drain line. My take-away from John was that he is very ethical, knowledgeable and does quality work. I went to John to get a second opinion after another plumbling company gave me a $6600 estimate for repiping my plumbing in my crawl space. John educated me on why the first plumber's estimate was horribly inflated and recommended I repair only what was needed... for under $400. Mr Stokes provided an excellent installation of our new gas operated tankless water heater in March 2013. He completed the project on time and at a fair price. Even though we had to increase the capacity of our natural gas meter to accommodate our new unit, he performed the additional work gladly.
