Fun little place. Limited table space inside and the narrow tables make it hard to order food. The peach bellini was delicious, the service was quick and attentive. We ordered the charcuterie board and it was ok, nothing stood out. The hummus place was yummy . We also ordered the baked brie with peach/jalapeño topping and we were so excited to try it. Sadly the brie was not baked enough and the cheese was not soft and spreadable it was barely baked, but the peach/jalapeño topping was amazing. read more

I took my partner here this past Sunday for his 21st birthday & he still hasn't stopped talking about how perfect it was! It was both our first time & Bailey was amazing with everything. She gave us suggestions and recommendations that just left us wanting more! We got the complex flight, sangria flight, and their mimosa carafe special. We also tried the Brie which was the best Brie we have had! and he was able to get their apple fig pizza complimentary for his birthday which was just chef's kiss. My friend and I came in here last weekend for some late night drinks. We were happy that the kitchen was still open at 11! I had tried one of their pizzas, which was really just a flatbread. It was ok, nothing really special. It felt like it was just heated up and not made fresh. The couple next to us had a cheese plate which looked really good! I wish I got that lol! I had their blood orange martini cocktail and it was great. I wish it was a little more tart, but good overall! The vibes are very cute and I'm sure the patio would be great during the day. The bartender was super friendly and was super sweet when we asked her to grab a pic of us! I think it would be a good spot for a cheese plate and a glass of wine and I would go more in that direction when dining here! read more

I had the best time here! Bailee was our server and she made our drinks and food. She was very knowledgeable about the wine and food menu and was extremely helpful. Bartenders were great- super patient and answered the many questions we had. The pizzas were on flatbread and so unique on taste. I recommend the fig pizza- inside is what you woukd expect from an old time wine bar- the atmosphere is exactly what's needed for a slow, relaxed evening. I think this is a cute place. We didn't get a lot. We had a 2 year old with us and didn't even know it was a no kids policy which is so strange since most places before 9pm allow children- esp when it's not just a bar- they serve food. So my mother had to stay in the car with him since we already ordered. I can understand and even appreciate a no kids place even being a mother but I think it does limit a lot of business. Moms need a patio place like this for their kids to be able to enjoy outside time while mom has a drink and snack. It was hot but once the sun set everyone was packed outside and second floor. I say inside first but wish I got outdoor seating. They even had fly deflector fans. Bar seating was unique with finished wood and an L shaped so plenty of seating. We had good wine but pizza was delicious, enough for one so I'd order 3 next time. Shelby and Grace were great helps all night! Cider flight- problem the best idea i had other than ordering the pizza ! The blackberry mead was probably my fave cider! Also the cider flight is $10! The pizzas are pretty good! I got the white blanc both times and added pepperoni and jalapeños to one and just jalapeños to the other! This place was so cute. Stumbled upon it as we were looking for a spot in San Marcos and went on a Tuesday night and dang, this place is poppin on a Tuesday! All the outdoor spots were taken, so we made our way to the upstairs outdoor balcony, until we were able to snag a table downstairs (which is where you want to be). We quickly found out it was BINGO night. Yes, bingo night! No, it wasn't a bunch of boomers either! I wish I had gotten her name, but the girl hosting Bingo was incredible - great personality with lots of jokes and she def knew how to work a crowd! Cons - sadly there are some. The sangria flight is awfully sweet. The pizzas are good but took soooo long to get. The food menu is very small so you better not come starving or with a picky eater. However, if we're ever in the San Marcos area again, we will definitely be back to just enjoy a night on their outdoor patio! read more

Update: After leaving a message and texting the business, I received word that a credit will be issued for the error and processing fee. Super customer service--much appreciated and not often found. Went last night to meet a friend. Staff are super nice, and good selection of wines. However, the music is too loud at times (I want to talk with my friend, not have to yell to be heard) and portions of food are very small. Heads up on the House Pretzels--it is literally about a half cup of small pretzels from a bag covered in some seasoning with a little cup of mustard. This morning I noticed on my receipt not only an item that we did not order, but also a 4% credit card processing fee that no one told us about. Left a message requesting a credit. Bottom line: For a town like San Marcos, it's probably one of the nicer places to relax and have a drink. read more
