My 54 lb Jindo does not do well with strangers, she is all bark but no bite. I was very anxious bringing her to any dog care but Wendy was willing to do an assessment prior to their stay. This was my very first time doing any sort of dog care so I was really worried about leaving them. They did really well and my other dog had so much fun (he's a social butterfly). The main reason I chose this place vs all the other dog boarding is because they offer a "home" living experience rather than a facility/warehouse. My dogs always freely roams the house and lays on our bed, couch, wherever they please so I wanted something similar and Wendy's house provided that. I couldn't bare the thought of them being kept in a narrow sleeping quarter locked throughout the day. Thank you for taking great care of my babies! This place will definitely be my go-to for any future dog boarding.

From the moment we dropped them off, the entire experience put us completely at ease. We received constant updates, photos, and messages from Wendy and Madison, letting us know how they were doing, which meant so much to us and made being away from them so much easier. It was clear they were genuinely cared for, loved, and treated like family the entire time they were there. Seeing Jax and Frank happy, comfortable, and well taken care of gave us so much peace of mind. You can truly tell OC Paw House cares deeply about the animals they watch. We are beyond grateful for the care they gave our boys and will absolutely be using them again in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive place for their dogs!

Dave was super patient and informative and gave us great tips for helping with Knox's energy and excitability. Not only that, he did a great job navigating our other dog, Maddox who was along for the ride and sometimes really interested in Dave's treats! Dave helped us with methods on how to help handle Knox's excitement when new people come into the house and to keep him calm when he sees dogs on walks and some things in-between, providing step-by-step instructions for ways we can work with him to get him to those calm places. We really liked his approach and the kindness he showed our dogs. So many places we looked at used electric collars and it was not something we wanted to do, so we were really happy when we found Dave!

He took time to get to know our family and tailor Hank's training to his personality and needs. He is incredibly knowledgeable and we have seen a huge improvement in our dog's behavior. Hanky is happier and now we know how to support him in order to avoid aggression. We also started taking both of our dogs to EveryDog Daycamp and it has been amazing to have a safe place where our dogs can play with other pups without me worrying something might happen to them. I can't recommend Dave and EveryDog enough!

Danielle was kind…read moreenough to take the information about Sonny's urgent need when I initially called and was able to contact Dr. Becky, who graciously accepted taking our last minute late night house call (It was maybe less than an hour notice). Dr. Becky was gentle, patient, and flexible. She not only provided her services excellently, she explained every step, waiting to make sure we were ready for each step, told us what to expect and made a sad situation as positive as she could. The vehicle that Dr. Becky uses to transport our beloved boy was arranged beautifully. She had a blanket to keep him covered while he was transported into her van. She allowed us to have extra goodbye time and we each got to say goodbye again. My only suggestion for people who are paying for these services would be when the doctor asks If you'd prefer to complete payment before or after services, choose before. I chose to do it after and providing a payment while you're actively grieving is an interesting feeling and sight, and I'm sure it could also be uncomfortable for the doctor seeing a family crying and still having to ask for method of payment - sorry Dr. Becky. The next day, I saw I had received a voicemail from an unknown number. Dr. Becky left me a voicemail just to check in and see how we were doing since Sonny's passing and to let us know that she was thinking of us - thank you Dr. Becky. 2 weeks later, I followed up with AHPE to inquire on any steps I should be taking regarding picking up my boy's ashes. Danielle reached out to me directly via email and let me know that he was ready to be picked up, and it felt like a full circle moment. Danielle helped me from the first time I called needing help and was the last person I communicated with after all was said and done - Thank you Danielle, please know that those little details do stay with us. Danielle's email was kind and supportive, as every interaction I've had with her had been. Once my family and I arrived to pick up Sonny, at the address provided, the woman at the desk very kindly went to the back to grab our boy. She opened the gift box, created by Honor Pet, and revealed a beautiful wooden box with intricate carvings, the certification of water cremation (impressive service), a vial of my boy's fur, and the 2 paw prints we paid for. What we didn't pay for, that this company Honor Pet provided, was a candle that came with a cute poem, a packet of flower seeds (Forget-Me-Nots....are you crying yet?), a brochure for Pet Loss Grief, and my favorite one that I was not expecting..a little cardstock page, maybe 4x6" of his big booper snooper. My boys nose that I kissed so frequently in life, and was the last thing I kissed before saying goodbye to his body. We paid for the ashes, the paws, and I don't remember if the vial of fur was included or not, but the manner that each person and company, At Home Pet Euthanasia and Honor Pet, took care of Sonny and my family, made it worth every penny. When making the difficult decision at the vet's office to take him home, they offered to lower the price to be able to help us. We said, it's not all about the money, it's what we want for him. So, is it expensive? Yeah, but everything is. Could our situation have been handled or cared for better than it was? Probably not. I will recommend these services to anyone unfortunate enough to need them because they truly care about you and your loved one and we felt that.

My 14 year old boy was suffering from organ failure from a quick and aggressive cancer. And though we tried to save him, it all happened so quick and we unfortunately had to make the call to give him peace. The quickness of everything left me scrambling to find a vet that could come the next day. I knew I wanted my boy to pass on his favorite couch surrounded by family, and luckily this wonderful company had an opening for the following day. Dr. Daniel explained how everything would happen and I could tell he went peacefully. The only discomfort he had was the sedation shot which Dr. Daniel explained would sting just a little bit. I can't express how grateful I am to have had such a beautiful process arranged for my boy The best final gift to him Though it can be pricey, it's worth absolutely every penny to have had such a wonderful end of life experience as this Thank you all

PetSmart Grooming Review…read more I had a very disappointing experience at the PetSmart grooming salon. I brought my dog, Zoe, in yesterday for a walk-in nail trim. When I entered the salon, the associate named Liz was on her phone. She asked if I had an appointment, and I explained it was just a walk-in nail cut. She told me to wait "one second" while she finished texting. She remained on her phone for a good 2-3 minutes before helping me. After finally checking the computer, she told me my dog's vaccination was expired as of November 19. I explained that Zoe is fully vaccinated and that this didn't sound right. Liz insisted it was expired and argued with me. To resolve this, I immediately contacted Vetco, where my dog receives her vaccines. I even scheduled an appointment the same day. Vetco then called me back and confirmed that Zoe's vaccine is valid until 2027. They emailed me the vaccination records right away. I returned to the salon with the emailed proof and showed Liz that my dog is fully vaccinated. Despite this, she said she still could not take my dog and told me to come back another day. This was frustrating, especially since the incorrect information appeared to be entered on PetSmart's side. I should not be inconvenienced or turned away due to an internal error, especially after providing valid documentation. I asked for a manager. The manager did not resolve the issue and said the head of the salon would call me, but no one ever followed up. Overall, the lack of professionalism, phone use while assisting customers, refusal to accommodate after proof was provided, and poor follow-up from management made this a very frustrating experience. I expected better customer service and accountability.
