Patio Pizza is literally the best pizza here in East Texas. We knew them when they were in downtown Jefferson. Tonight, I found out they have a small place in Avinger, TX right off Main Street/Hwy 49. Their pizza is so fresh, with amazing flavors to choose from. Our family likes the BBQ Beef and Onion pizza, along with the Spinach Chicken Alfredo pizza. Manicotti is also a favorite as well. Simply put, there is nothing this restaurant makes that is just simply delicious! If you are living in the Hwy 155/Hwy 49/FM 729 area, this place is for you. They do deliver to around Dalton's Corner, so what's not to like huh? The owners and staff are super friendly, and we are ecstatic that they are literally 10 minutes away now. I've passed by this little pizza spot a few times and had to try it out. So today, I ordered the Hanan's Veggie specialty pizza and a dinner salad. This pizza was not only the best in the area, but it was the best pizza I've had in all of east Texas. I haven't tried the salad yet, but it looks delicious as well. Excellent! Quite good for small town Avinger. I forgot to take a picture of our pizza, but we got a half-cheese, half-veggie. We chose to dine in, and it's nice and clean. When our pizza was delivered, the veggie had two halves of grilled zucchini on top. I've never seen that on a pizza, but it was scrumptious! I was hesitant to stop, but if you're driving through Avinger, make sure you do! It's a wonderful additional to this small town. The owner was incredibly nice as well. So many restaurants it seems have gone downhill since COVID hit, but this place hasn't reduced their quality. Be sure to stop! You won't regret it. read more

Walked in because my son had skipped lunch. The pizza was covered in grease. Three canned cokes and a medium pizza will set you back $16 bucks. The interior looks completely worn out. There are better places to eat. read more

Okay. So we tried this place. One pepperoni large pizza and one taco pizza large. The minute my daughter came back to the car with the pizzas something just did not smell right. We went to our cottage ( on a weekend trip) and open the taco one and it smelled horrible. The cheddar was old. It smelled like cheese right before it molds. The pepperoni was good though. We all ended up eating that one. I returned the taco one the next day. , like he asked. He smells it multiple times after it has sat out all night. Says I don't smell anything wrong. I think your just smelling the cheddar. This thing stunk. Horribly. I gagged when I went to bite it. Anyways he says I can't give you a refund because you paid with credit card. (Debut card) I'll give you this pizza off the buffet I just put out. I told him we just ate we did not want it. You could tell he was pissed. He stated 3 other people got the same pizza and did not complain. I'm thinking maybe because they are just visiting the town and it's not worth their time. Plus another review said he cussed them out. Needless to say I paid for a horrible pizza that was not consumable. I had to listen to how he had been in business 20 years then I had to take a pizza we did not want. We had just ate . The pepperoni was good though . So if you go there stick with pizzas with only mozzarella would be my suggestion. read more

It's good pizza and a nice staff. They'll make any pizza you want. We usually use them for carryout and have always had a good experience!
