Outdated arcade with 1/2 of the games out of order. The games that did work were fine, but the selection of games was limited. The prize machine only had a few options and if the prize wasn't sitting at the edge, your prize doesn't come out. There were 2 rooms of arcade games, one was very hot and the other was cool inside. The staff was friendly and they have putt putt but it was too hot to try and play. The putt putt course was straight in the sun with no shade options. read more

I was highly disappointed by the staff here at this establishmen, I came with my family at around 7 o clock and they only opened at 5, all of the doors were locked and the teenagers at the window are so rude! the music is insanely loud to the point to where you can't hear your own thoughts. Not to mention They charge a fortune for the arcade and you end up with the smallest prize known to man after you have worked so hard to get one. Do not recommend this place for your family. This place was so cute before it was converted to "Pirates Turf". Owner was genuine in intention and kept the place up. It's now been bought. It's run down. Everything was out of order, leaky AC, expensive prices. The only good part was the dancing game. Also the golfing is alright. Could go somewhere else for a better price though. read more

I can no longer recommend this business to my guests visiting. I was very disappointed with the red haired lady in charge in how she speaks to children. She is in the wrong business with her short, abruptness. I've been taking my grandkids here for years for a small town fun time and we always have low expectations since it is old and retro. But today, our experience fell even short of our low bar. About half of the arcade games work, and the putt putt course needs serious maintenance. The ice cream shop across has better ice cream. I noticed that all the posted reviews are all years old which is very misleading to what the business is like today . Don't expect much for the money you will spend and you will be ok. read more

The miniature golf course was nice. the arcade was very out dated. Very convenient location

I only came for the ice cream, and was really looking forward to it. The "Death by Chocolate" ice cream tasted like ice milk and wasn't the slightest bit creamy. Worst ice cream I've ever had actually. The only positive thing I'll say is that the people playing putt-putt looked like they were having fun, and I enjoyed the music that was playing. read more

Being from the, Chicago area, I had ended up in some really bad parts of town that you just shouldn't be in.... Id rather go back to, Chicago, go to a arcade/ putt putt in the south end at 830 on a Friday night than EVER come back to this place. Can't give less than one star, so glad we made the 125 mile trip from, Raleigh just to extremely disappointed. You know you've failed when even a 6 and 7 year old say "I didn't have fun, I don't want to go there ever again" so.... Guess I'll be taking the advice of my 6 and 7 year old and never coming back. After all, the whole experience is geared towards kids and if the kids don't even like it..... it must really be bad. Just stay away.... Far far away, as far away as you can and keep your money even further. Eventually the witch witch of the east (the owner) will have to sell and then MAYBE, JUST MAYBE.... It can be made a great place again like it was just 5 years ago.... What a joke... not sure what's the bigger joke though, the complete disrepair of the course, the never ending, broken machines... yeah, waste of money, waste of time and Serisouly the most disappointing "fun center" I've not only taken my kids too, but also the most disappointing place I've ever been too in my 35 years of living... and I grew up in, Ohio.... One of the best activities in Topsail Beach, especially since it's so varied. Arcade, ice cream shop, and a fun mini-golf course that's been around forever. Great family fun, wonderful owners, it's a must go. Thankful for this place! read more

Incredibly poor service. Won well over a thousand tickets after spending around 50$, and our 5 and 11 year old were very eager to get the prizes. Well their counting machine was down, and we were told that we had to count them by hand. The employee kept going into a back room to "talk to his boss", and when I asked to speak to the boss he said I would have to wait. Say and ate ice cream, and still couldn't speak to the boss. This place has by far the worst customer service out of all the places nearby. I would rather drive 30 minutes down the road than go here again. I would have given this place zero stars, but the minimum was one. Don't go here if you are there for the arcade. read more

Not with the drive - the games in the "arcade" are very old and not the games you or your kids will recognize. Also several of them didn't work or ate our quarters. Kids got bored quickly. Nice, family-run mini-golf in Topsail Beach. Nothing fancy, it's more 50's retro but it's a nice 18 holes of mini-golf, with friendly faces. They also rent bikes, sell ice cream and have a small arcade. We will definitely return. read more

A lot of fun for the family! The golf course is basically just a bunch of holes in the ground, not very challenging or "fun." No themes or obstacles, etc. however, they serve ice cream, have 2 arcades and there was a DJ which kept the vibe and energy up. My take is that the kids will love it and the adults will just like to make their kids happy. This is definitely not a "date night" place - only for families in my opinion. This place is adorable. The mini golf is quaint and fun. THE ICE CREAM is delicious, never mind that the staff is very friendly, especially the woman. But the arcade is what really got me. We spent about in hour in the arcade, and got around 800 tickets. It's really a throwback to your childhood, and feels just like how a beachy ice cream place and mini golf course should. read more

Cute place...very "small town quaint." Unfortunately, not very customer friendly. Got sprinkles on my ice cream (they only dabbed the top of the cone in the sprinkles so there weren't many there) and they were hard as rocks. Couldn't eat them. As I was scraping them off so I could eat the ice cream, I tried to talk to them about the sprinkles being inedible. The woman I spoke to told me they weren't and then when I asked her to try them for herself to see that they were inedible, she yelled (yes, yelled) that she didn't eat sprinkles. No apologizes, certainly no refund in the inedible sprinkles, not even a promise to check to be sure they were okay. Just got yelled at. Oh, and the lady that yelled at me is the owner. read more
