Patio Pools came very highly recommended to us so we did not bother to shop around. We wanted the best. Our salesman, Thomas was great and very helpful. He met us at the house the day we closed on the sale and helped us design our dream outdoor space. The install was done within a reasonable timeframe and the quality is top notch.

Wow...we couldn't be happier! From the very first meeting in which Matt helped us design the perfect pool to project completion and "Pool School" the experience was a pleasure. The Patio Pools team has the construction process down to an art form and has great communication with both the homeowners and subs. From start to finish the process was 5 months (including permits and COVID material delays) and from breaking ground it was 3 months. We have recommend them to several friends and if we ever have another pool built they hands down will be our choice.

We had the best experience with Patio Pools. They delivered our dream pool in under 80 days. Nancy helped with the design and provided us a 3-D video of our design. The construction team communicated well and we were provided a detailed time-line of what to expect step by step. All the contractors arrived timely and were professional and courteous. We couldn't have asked for a better product. Our new pool, patio deck and screen enclosure look beautiful!

Our backyard paradise! We can't say enough wonderful things about the amazing job Patio Pools provides us! From the first meeting with Nancy we knew this was the company. Not only did they deliver on all promises made, they completed our Island Oasis in sooner than expected! We highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent quality work, with an attentive, polite and wonderful staff!

Simply THE BEST! I can not recommend Patio Pools enough. The contractors they use, speed in which they work and ease of process are all top notch. Our pool from start to finish took about 35 days, we have neighbors using other pool builders going on 3-6 month build times. Everyone has been a pleasure to work with and I still stop in weekly to have my water tested and purchase chemicals as needed. Their retail store is cheaper than others, I price checked against competitors. Warranty has also been great for the minor issues that have come up after completion. Don't go anywhere else just trust me, Patio Pools is the way to get your pool done right!

    Just perfect!

We started our relationship with Patio Pools in Sept 2018;)! Our delay was Pasco County permits because of our specific property, nothing to do with Patio pools. Our permit finally came through end of November 2018. Right after Thanksgiving break Patio Pools got started!!! They were organizing and had all their Sub-Contractors lines up and scheduled, one after another... NO Waiting around and guessing who's coming this week. Even during the Christmas holidays and New Years someone was working!!! Our beautiful pool was completed 1st wk of January, final Inspection was January 11. Super easy company to work with!!! Keep In contact with Paulie, Matt and Gina and you can't go wrong. In my opinion, I would highly recommend their pool building services!!! Lis P.

A 20-Year Customer Lost Over a $100 Misquote and Poor Management…read more I have been a loyal customer at this Pinch A Penny for 20 years, but their standards have fallen considerably. After my latest experience, I will never go back. I dropped off my Hayward Navigator pool cleaner because it was moving slowly--a sign that parts needed to be changed. After hearing nothing, I called on Wednesday, July 8, to see if it was ready. They told me it wasn't and promised to call me back. They never did. Today--9 days after dropping it off--I went into the store, and it STILL wasn't ready. The store manager, Sara, discussed options with me: buying a brand new cleaner for about $400 or repairing mine for $230. While I thought $230 was already pricey for repairs, I considered my options and gave the green light to fix it. Sara said they could get it done in a few minutes, so I waited. Over 20 minutes later, a different employee rang me up at the register, and the total was suddenly $330. He went to get Sara, and when she came over, she admitted that she had miscalculated the price. She essentially gave me two options: pay the $330, or they would take the new parts off and put my old ones back on. After waiting 9 days for the repair and over 20 minutes in the store, I assumed a store manager would honor the price she had personally quoted me just minutes earlier, but she never did. I never demanded they honor the price; remaining courteous and professional throughout, I simply and politely declined to pay the $330 and chose the option to put my old parts back on. After 9 days of waiting and 45 minutes wasted in the store today, I walked out with my pool cleaner in the exact same condition I brought it in. Save yourself the frustration and take your pool business elsewhere.

Thankfully, Elite Pool Designs put all of our fears to rest thanks to their amazing customer service, fair prices and excellent, high quality work. We previously had a koi pond in our backyard but, as the fish died out, realized we wanted something else back there instead. We reached out to Elite Pool and Cyndi and she came over the next day to assess our yard. As we had no idea where to start, she helped guide us through the whole process, connecting us with surveyors, tree removal experts and all of the other hidden things you don't think about when you decide "I want a pool". After the work to get the yard ready was done, we went to the Elite Pool offices to pick out the tile, lining and design of the pool. Cyndi walked us through the shape and features we wanted, and provided a very reasonable quote for everything, including, automation, a heater for the pool (hey it DOES sometime get cold here!) and a screen enclosure. Construction for the pool started in October 2024 and finished in late January 2025, and our hat goes off to Robert (owner of Elite Pool) for his help with managing the entire project. Crews arrived as needed and on time, and though there were some periods between steps where not a lot of work was being done, it was never unreasonable and given the holidays, totally fair. Inspection and electrical were simple and easy and now we are ready to enjoy our pool! For anyone in our same position, looking to install a pool from scratch but not sure where to turn, Elite Pool Design should be your first call, can't recommend them highly enough!

They did tell me that they were going to be discontinuing that brand but that they would still provide service. Now the hottub can't get hot (I keep it set at 104 degrees and it is stuck at 99) so I called them to see about getting it serviced. Now they no longer service these hottubs and that I need to call the company to see who can service it. They couldn't/wouldn't help me find someone to service it! Guess now that they have my money, I'm on my own. Would never go back there again. UPDATE: Closest certified American Whirlpool service center wants to charge me $471 for travel expense. I have messaged this company to ask for help since they assured me they would still service the hot tub we bought and I never heard back from them (that was over a week ago. I also called the Brandon location to see if I could get some help and all I got was "I'm sorry!". No offer to help in any way. I hope others will see this before deciding to do business with these people.

We had visited a local recommended pool supplier about putting in a handrail for our inground pool…read more They said we could not put in a desired stainless steel hand rail since it was not a new installation. We did not like the plastic, cheap looking solutions they offered and the price was very high. We decided to look around and went to Pinch-A-Penny in Lutz, FL for something else but asked if they could help us find what we were looking for. They the exact model we were looking for and said they had an installer. The price was very reasonable so we bought the hand rail and I called Michael's to schedule the install. They quickly gave me a date a few days out. The tech's sent me a text to let me know they were on there way and I had the part ready for them when they arrived. They took the time to listen to my thoughts on the install and they had some very good recommendations on where to install. I was told they would tell me what type of escutcheons to purchase for the install but they had anticipated what I needed and had it with them. This saved me a trip to pick some up. They had to drill two holes in my pool deck and they did a good job limiting the dust and cleaned up after they cemented the handrail in place. While there, they took a look at a pool light issue and were able to quickly determine the problem and took the time to educate me on how the system works. I would not hesitate to call them for any pool issues in the future.
