I wanted to replace my old, termite ridden patio cover with Alumawood and a neighbor recommended PatioCovered to me. I'm so glad because I am thrilled with my new aluminum patio cover! It's gorgeous and I will never have to paint it or worry about termites. The owner, Michelle, was easy to work with and the guys who came out to install did a great job and were very pleasant and respectful. I really appreciated that they cleaned up the work area every day before they left. It took them a week to demo the old cover, repair some fascia and install the new cover. Even the electrician who installed the lights was great! I highly recommend them! read more

After getting a couple quotes we decided to go with patiocovered and are happy we did. The quote was reasonable and we never felt pressured during the process. I cannot praise Michelle and her team enough. From start to finish, the communication and quality of work has exceeded our expectations. Her team had to demo our eaves off, install the aluminum pergola to make it look seamless with the house, and install lights and fans. We were surprised at the attention to detail as well as the knowledge her team has in installing these. Everything went off without a hitch, and we could not be happier. It looks amazing! read more

We recently did a few upgrades on our house including a new roof and painting the exterior. I had torn down our old wooden patio cover and wanted to replace it. I started looking online and came upon Patiocovered. I looked at other contractors but kept coming back to them. I was really interested in the Alumawood option so I placed a call to Michelle. She's super easy to deal with and extremely knowledgeable. A couple days later she came to my house, we talked about what I wanted and she took measurements. I had the quote later that evening which was awesome. The quote was very reasonable and don't tell her, but it was actually lower than I thought it would be. They ordered our material, came out a few days later and installed it. Our patio cover was not the biggest project in the world, but they made me feel that our business was important to them. The patio cover was installed in one day, and looks absolutely perfect. So, great customer service from the beginning to the end. A great product. Great quality and workmanship from the installers. Zero regrets!!! We waited a long time to add these structures to our home. Living in Santa Clarita, the climate can feel like the surface of the sun. These awnings were completed just before the constant 100° weather we've been having and it has been life saving. Now let me tell you about the work that was done. Patio Covered has a wonderful team of construction people and an electrician that plowed through this job like it was no big deal but made sure our desires were incorporated into the project throughout. The work was done quickly, honestly and clean. We asked that it be finished for a party we were having and not only was it done on time, but I didn't have to pick up after them to set up. The electrician asked where we would like to access switches and he made it work with very little disruption or damage to the wall. They did what they said they were going to do. They showed up on time and were courteous, respectful, clean and very professional. They were transparent about something that was delivered damaged and fixed the problem without us having to ask them to do so. This experience was definitely not your typical construction project and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. They were also reasonably priced, so it was a win win!! Make sure to call the number on their site and make an appointment with Michelle to show you everything they have to offer. It is by appointment only. She'll take good care of you. Sincerely, A very satisfied customer read more

Michelle Mazza and her team are the very best! They built a beautiful 12 by 10 Alumawood patio cover and installed footings to ensure everything was handled to code. Michelle took care of all permit work and made this transaction painless. As a customer, you want good work done quickly and for a fair price, and you certainly get what you pay for here, as I have found out. Michelle's team was diligent and took extra time making sure to weatherproof the roof and to clean up all the debris and trash. I couldn't be more happier with their work and will be having them return in the future to extend the patio cover. read more

Our 25 yr old wood patio cover was rotted and warped. I found the Patio covered team as they did some work for a neighbor. Michelle promptly responded to my call, met with me and we designed an aluma wood patio to improve our backyard experience. A few days with a smooth construction process and we now have a beautiful patio cover and a fan to ease the hot Valencia summer days! A job well done, highly recommend them. Carlos S. read more

There are so many options for colors and designs, and they are happy to advise and work with you. After years of talking about it, we finally decided--it's time to build our wood patio cover! We got almost ten quotes before ultimately deciding that Patio Covered was the best choice. We had some contractors that gave us ridiculously high round number quotes, and some that came in a bit lower than what we ended up going with, but Michelle and Patio Covered gave us an honest and detailed quote. She broke down materials clearly, and accommodated any changes we wanted without trying to gouge us for the change, it was always above board. Her crew was a pleasure to work with, they took the time to make sure that we got what we wanted, and they always left a clean worksite after each day. During the build, Michelle was always available for questions and was ensuring that inspectors were scheduled in a timely manner. There were no surprises resulting in extra costs and aside from the roofing supplier having a problem matching the tile texture (which was quickly resolved), everything went perfectly. My wife and I are extremely happy with the finished product, our choice of contractor, and for having almost 500sqft of shade during the hot summer months! If you're looking for a patio cover, give them a chance. Do NOT go with the idiots that give you a sky high quote and then drop it immediately, like they gave you a discount... Contact Michelle, tell her what you want, and she will give you a real and honest quote. If you choose them to do your build, Michelle and her crew will build you the patio cover that you've always wanted! read more

This review is overdue. We had our patio cover replaced in summer 2022. Michelle and her team did a great job replacing the old wood cover with a new, fully covered Alumiwood solid cover. It looks great and PatioCovered was very professional. I did, however, want to wait for rain before I gave my review. The rains finally came in January and this past week. Heavy rains at times and there are no leaks. I recommend Michelle at PatioCovered for your new patio cover needs. read more

We were in a bit of a pickle needing to replace a wooden patio cover with an alumawood one due changes in building code for our area with high-fire-severity zone building restrictions. After months of back and forth with our local permit office, it was such a relief to have PatioCovered step in and take over the process for us. Michelle responded quickly, was super friendly and personable, and we got a quote and game plan within just a few days! Granted, between permits, & material delays, the actual installation didn't happen for several months, but Michelle worked hard within what was in her control to get us taken care of as soon as they could. When they were finally doing the install, we couldn't be more pleased with Francisco and team! Efficient, detail oriented, communicated well, and clearly very skilled in their craft. We have had a LOT of workers on our property the last few years, and have honestly gotten used to disappointment and low standards. These guys were a breath of fresh air and set the bar for what a professional install should be like. I must also add that we had a lot of customizations needed to add in some shades we wanted to use and they did a fabulous job of customizing the install to make it work. So grateful and will definitely be recommending and using these guys in the future! read more

Initial contact My wife and I wanted a patio cover next to our outdoor room. We found Patiocovered on Yelp. I spoke to Michelle and she is the nicest person. Michelle came out and was even friendlier in person. She listened to everything I wanted and made sure she had every detail. After seeing all the samples we chose Alumawood to keep with the no maintenance yard. We received the proposal and it was a great price. Michelle's great customer service and the great price helped us decide to move forward with the project without getting another bid. Day of install The guys arrived on time and were very friendly and looking professional. They got straight to work and maintained a clean work environment. The entire project took 2 days. They did a great job. After install Michelle and Marc came by to make sure that I was completely satisfied and I am! I highly recommend Patiocovered! I highly recommend Patio Covered. I did a lot of research on patio options and got quotes from a few different companies. Patio Covered was competitive on price and the Alumawood patio looks amazing. They were extremely patient with me. The project was delayed several months due to a slow permit process and issues with water damage to the deck that weren't visible until they started the installation. Michelle was very patient as I had the deck repairs done. Once they started, Francisco and the crew installed the patio in one day. It looks great, and I'm so happy to enjoy spending time outside without baking in the sun. read more

We could not be happier with our decision to use Patio Covered! We purchased a home and the back of the house gets the afternoon sun- and we had no patio cover or shade. It was hot! I started doing research and decided we'd go with Patio Covered! BEST DECISION EVER!!!! From my first call to the last we had nothing but top notch communication and customer service with Michelle and her team. When ordering our cover we understood that there was a wait due to production and backlog of installation due to catching up on production delays due to the pandemic. We knew up front the estimated window of time when the cover should be installed, and it was right on point. Of course we'd have a couple rainy days during our installation- but that didn't throw us too far off schedule. We were expecting a longer delay but Michelle and her team made it work seamlessly. Michelle had us out to the showroom and gave us tips and feedback as we were doing a 20x18 free standing structure with lights and fans. We went with the gray insulated cover and are so happy with the finished product. They so cleanly cut the footings and it looks so good. The white and gray fits our yard and will look even better once we repaint our house. The installation team were great and so was the electrician. Looking forward to next summer and enjoying some shade in our backyard. As a small business owner it's refreshing to meet a company with a like minded approach to customer sand who cares about the job that their company provides. We will for sure be going back to Patio Covered when we choose to install our next shade structure. read more

Michelle from Patiocovered is absolutely amazing! She provided us with excellent customer service. So easy to talk to and very prompt in her responses. We had our pergola built early this month (April 2, 2020). It only took two days to build and it is beautiful. Francisco (the foreman) is very meticulous when it comes to his work. Salvador (his assistant) is such a hard working guy. They are both professionals in what they do. The new Alumawood patio cover replaced a 30 year+ wooden cover. So great to have a 'fresh' look to the patio area, and one not needing so much maintenance. It was well assembled & fitted to the unique shape of the patio, which tapers considerably along most of the 48 ft. length. The use of the extra front & back components of the posts really enhances the design look, and makes it appear much sturdier than a single post element would provide. Francisco of the installation crew explained well all my questions as the project progressed. The 3 members of the crew were obviously very well versed & experienced in dealing with difficult design issues. read more

I had about 4 different companies come out to give me quotes on a patio cover for the back yard. I decided to use Patiocovered as they had great reviews and a durable product with a clear warranty. I worked with Michelle who was wonderful in helping me brainstorm, idea plan, and coordinate everything. Due to COVID the original build date needed to be pushed back some but that wasn't an issue as Michelle was always very honest and informative throughout the duration of the project. Once completed I absolutely LOVE my patio. They did phenomenal work. Their employees that constructed the allumawood patio cover where knowledgeable, hard working, and very polite. They did great work, cleaned up everything, and communicated clearly what was happening the entire time. They did the job efficiently and fast! We contacted these folks with just a couple weeks left to go before moving to Nevada. We let them know we wanted our existing wood lattice patio cover demoed in favor of whatever they could or would recommend. Michelle arrived the next day to do the measurements and provide an estimate for "Alumawood," an aluminum product with a wood grain appearance embedded for a natural look yet very low maintenance. Their prices were very competitive and we liked both Michelle and her husband and partner, Marc. Professional, friendly and they made us feel comfortable they would complete the job on time and on budget. Their work crew fit the same image. They worked quickly to remove the old and install the new. They were clean, efficient and their work was impeccable. There was, however, a minor color discrepancy on one of the support beams. Michelle apologized profusely and promised to make everything right. Incredibly, they returned after we moved and replace the whole beam with a new one that had perfect color matching. Their attention to the smallest detail was very impressive. Patiocovered EARNED each of their five stars in my review. Thank you! read more
