The outdoor grill setup is next level, they built a beautiful concrete island that perfectly houses my fridge, icemaker and sink. Everything feels high end and thoughtfully designed. They even installed an instahot system for my outdoor shower, which has been a total game changer. They took care of mounting my outdoor TV as well, every little detail was covered. Very professional. Followed the design that Steve Hecker, my pool contractor, laid out for the yard. They did an amazing retaining wall, which pushed my steep downslope back and added 5 more feet to the width of my yard!! They stubbed in irrigation my landscaper asked for, put down all my backyard turf, and did the coping around my pool. Everything came out perfect, and for a very fair price. I called DC and immediately got an answer. Darrell, the owner was very polite and asked me how can I help change your life today. I thought wow that caught me off guard. But I explain to him that I needed new pool coping. I also asked him if he could come up with a design for my front entryway which I couldn't stand. He came out to meet with me and we came up with a plan and a price. I thought the price is reasonable the plan was awesome so I went ahead with that. He said it would take a couple of weeks to get all the materials and get the job done. My surprise the job only took about eight days. Exceeded my expectations greatly I love my new front entry. Their work was substandard, not done on time, not at all what we expected for what we paid. It's going to cost us a lot of money to get fixed. For instance our grade was done wrong so our yard constantly floods or the grass dies. He did not use rebar in the cement. He did not bury the snake fence left Gabs at the bottom. I wanna give a shout out to DC construction for the amazing experience I had with them! I started this whole process due to a letter I got in the mail . After I saw 6 contractor and called many more, I decided to go with DC Construction. Steve was very accommodating to my hectic work and sleep schedule. I am an Nightshift Nurse who is a bit of a workaholic... Lol. He and I would discuss the contract, sometimes as late at 7 or 8pm. With many great aspects to this company, I, then, decided to go with them. DC Construction has also done all the paperwork required for the HOA and fire department! Who can pass that up!? Especially with a schedule like mine! After signing the contract with DC, I requested if the work can be started when I go on vacation, which was only 2 weeks away from the time I had signed contract. Although, he said it would be about 4 weeks out til they started, DC made some adjustments and started my project 2 weeks later and right on time for my vacation to start! This was very important because nightshift nurse and 7am construction just don't mix! During construction, all of their workers was very polite and accommodating to ALL and I mean ALL my requests. They worked hard and vigilant til the last day. Daryl, who is the owner of the company, has always checked in to see if I was satisfied with the work every step of the way. Not to mention, Steve was very easy to talk to and addressed all my concerns and million request (what can I say.. im a bit OCD). Overall, DC Construction has done an amazing job in my small oasis. It has turned my fiery desert of a backyard to a now livable place. I'm very impressed with the work this company has done for me. From the beautiful patio covering, the relaxing and coolness of the artificial turf, the beautiful colored pavers and its patterns, the planter walls with the stone veneer pillars and not to mention the amazing work on the drip system, lighting and drainage system. We used DC Construction Services for our backyard. They gave us a good quote, and started working very soon after that. Our yard was full of rocks and hard dirt, and we wanted sprinklers, a retaining wall, grass, cement and drains that carried water from the backyard to the street. Everything was done in a timely manner, and they were so easy to work with. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We've had a few issues with water pressure because we didn't have our water tower for our neighborhood when we first got our yard done. They made sure our grass and plants got sufficient water, coming out multiple times to work with the system. Then once the water tower was put in, they came back to make sure the watering system would be giving us the right amount of water again. They made sure we were 100% happy with our yard, and continue to come out to help us if any issues arise. They have been GREAT to work with- so great we are going to have them do our front yard as well. We love our yard and recommend DC Construction services! read more

We hired DC Construction to do our backyard. Steve came out and asked what I wanted done, I explained the job, got a quote that we agreed upon. They completed the job in about a week. It was simple enough, I just wanted the yard to be concrete with flower beds. They completed the paperwork to submit to the HOA as well. After about a week (maybe less) of completion, the slab had a crack in it that spread all the way to the end of that particular quadrant of the concrete. They sent someone to patch it but it looks largely the same. I also had to hire another company to actually put flowers and plants in the flower beds, I thought this was included since it was discussed when I explained what I wanted done. I loved the clean lines of the job prior to the crack, it was very neat. read more
